Detailed Reviews
This hotel was wonderful and I highly recommend it. The room was excellent and at all times we felt safe.
Breakfast was a Masterchef style buffet. When we were there for dinner, the meals were not only competitive in price but the quality was also high class.
Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.
The hotel is right in the middle of the cbd so it was very close to all the shops, buses and just a few blocks away from the quay.
Parking was also easy. Sometimes we used their valet and other times we used the carpark on the other side of the road. Because the carpark was off the street and away from pedestrians, I felt confident leaving a hire car there overnight.
I'm not sure what else I would have received if I stayed at a 5 star hotel. What I do know, is the Holiday Inn Hay St Perth would be the only place I would stay the next time I visit Perth.
Thanks to all the staff for helping to make our holiday a well needed respite from life.

Hotel's Favorite
My third or fourth stay here, and still feels as comfortable as the first time I stayed here. Rooms are big and airy, service is friendly and Ivy and Jack restaurant is as good as ever. Centrally located so it’s convenient to get to places within the city as well.

Honestly, I did not have too high expectations before the trip, but I am happy that everything was around average. However, the hospitality standard turned out pretty good, truly exceeding what I would expect with any other Holiday Inn, especially in Western countries. If I am not mistaken, the front office lady named LeAnn was awesome, followed by another guy named Shawn (I think so). The rest of the front office staff weren't too bad, and yet there was nothing to shout about.
As someone from a hospitality background, staying highly alert to what is going on is very important. Yes, you might be busy with the booking system or over the phone. Just a little bit extra, even though just nod and smile—that's more than enough to greet yourself rather than spend a few minutes chatting with them. Hence, high credits go to LeAnn (the best one) and Shawn.
The room was average, although quite spacious than I expected. The wall seemed quite thin (not too bad), but overall, it was still quite okay. Breakfast is partnered with the restaurant next door. Quite average but I am ok with that. The only complaint was the automatic coffee machine, haha!
Kids eat free with paying dining adults, which is quite good for parents who want to dine and have drinks before heading to the room. The only problem is that there are not many varieties of main courses for us to choose from, especially pizza, which is excluded, and I am not too fond of certain types of food ---> maybe could also add on option eg minimum spend to get free kids meal? Guess what? I was quite tempted to order 2 appetisers for myself instead of a burger as a main.
Anyways, still highly recommended this hotel~~~~ Good location too!

The hotel staff were kind and accommodating, allowing us to store our Corica's apple strudels in their refrigerator until check-out. The hotel's central location made it convenient to access nearby establishments.
The room size was suitable for a couple, and it was evident that the room had been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. Despite staying for three nights, we didn't request room cleaning. Surprisingly, even though the room had carpeting, my nose didn't react adversely.
Overall, our experience was fantastic.

The location was great on Hay Street and close to shops. It was also a short walk to Northbridge. Rooms were clean and breakfast was really good and nice. It could have more variety on different days as it was basically the same items except for one of the Asian dish. Staff were very friendly and parking was really nearby but chargeable at $30 a night and closes at midnight. No swimming pool or gym at hotel by it was fine as we were out most of the time.

Holiday Inn Perth City Centre
We stayed at the Holiday Inn for 4 and 2 nights split by a trip down to Margaret River.
The location of this hotel is good, right in the heart of Perth CBD, free buses run from outside the hotel and the railway station is a 10 minute walk away.
The quality of the hotel is what you would expect of a Holiday Inn.
Reception staff were pleasant and helpful.
The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant with reasonable prices.
Our bedroom was spacious with good Air Con, Wi-Fi and a free Security Box plus everything else you need Including tea and coffee. Fresh towels and linen were provided every day with good housekeeping.
The bed was large, comfortable and was provided with hard and soft pillows which were great.
The bathroom only had a wet room shower which was good the only criticism was slightly low water pressure.
The hotel has a happy hour every day between 5-6pm when beer is $8 a pint. On Thursdays there was a special offer of selected beer at $5 a pint all day so you can’t wrong with that.
During our return visit the bar and restaurant was closed because of the Covid-19 virus, a limited room service menu was available with a charge $4 per tray delivered to your room.
All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
There are many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

We had a three night stay with 3 adult in a room with 2 large comfortable queen beds. The room was a good size so we didn’t feel cramped. All standard needs provided for including free bottled water on arrival. We used the valet car parking which was very convenient. The main shopping city mall is moments from the front door. We had breakfast included which was of a tasty high standard with great variety. All the staff we dealt with were friendly helpful and very professional. Would certainly stay here again.

The dark passages led to OK room. Arrived very tired after a long flight but was hungry. Ordered a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich which arrived cold, had a slice of packaged cheese on thickly cut cheap white bread with a slice of tomato. The filling was so meagre that it didn’t even cover the bread. Not as much as a leaf of parsley - just two limp wedges overlapping one another. Too exhausted to complain and just put it in the passage outside the door. The hairdryer had a broken nozzle and I told the reception desk about this but nothing was done. The hotel restaurant, Ivy & Jack, was the best entertainment in Perth. Was told there were no tables available but when mentioning that I was a hotel guest a table was magically found in a near empty restaurant The service was shocking - waited ages for a drink, for the order to be taken and then delivered. As expected the food arrived cold and was sent back. Staff walked around doing nothing but clocking up their steps (exercise).

We stayed here for two nights after a 17 hour flight from London Heathrow to Perth after waiting more than one and half hours for our luggage we got a taxi to this hotel and the service was very good. We checked in and went to our room where there was tea and coffee available in the room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable as were the pillow up to the standard of Holiday Inn around the world. We went down to Ivy and Jack's which is attached to the hotel. The food was very good but more like share platters and good for the occasional drink rather than a main meal. I believe this is where they service the breakfast if you have a breakfast package with the hotel. This hotel is right in the heart of the city so close to everything but not a lot of restaurants to eat at during the dinner service. Most hotels seem to only service lunches or late afternoon snacks.

We had a standard room which was large and well equipped. Bed comfortable.
The location was good as most things are walkable or a walk to the train station or bus stop.
Very handy for the train to the airport. Bar was pleasant you could sit and people watch for as long as you wanted, they also did a very good mocktail mojito.
One day we went to Freemantle goal which we would recommend for a half day visit

Greetings sohs1883,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the Toyota Commuter is too high for our offsite self parking facility as the height restriction is 1.9 metres. Valet service could be an option for you as the service caters for vehicles up to 2.3 metres. Valet service is priced at $40AUD per night.
Kind Regards,
