We enjoyed a 10 night stay which began with being given an Executive Room when we booked a Suite. Fortunately Bula the Duty Manager sorted it out quickly and the suite was fantastic with two rooms, a microwave and kitchen sink. The bed was comfortable but the pillow top mattress was too soft for our liking.
We ate breakfast in the restaurant where Tanya and Shilpa provided excellent service and made sure our orders were right and served quickly. Night time meals were taken in the bar where Needa was quick, pleasant and a pleasure to deal with.
This hotel in Perth CBD is located close to free bus services which take you around the city. Public transportation is available for a low cost and takes you almost anywhere you want to go. The trains run in the middle of the freeways with vehicular traffic on each side. These trains are super fast - up to 130 KPH and very clean with attendant guards at every station to ensure safety.

Stayed for two nights at the Novotel in Perth. Easy to get to from the train station, about a 10 minute walk pasts lots of shops, bars and cafes. 35 minutes in all by train from the Virgin Australia terminal to the hotel, probably quicker than a taxi or uber. In a very good location for the Arena, shopping, or sightseeing. Perth Mint is a 10 minute walk away. Large and airy lobby. We had a very friendly Spanish receptionist. Room on the 4th floor was a good sized double, large bathroom and ample drawers/wardrobe space. Had a good view of buildings. Air con good brilliant, but kept making a ticking noise overnight. The shower pressure was just awful, to use the ‘saving water’ line is just poor. They have put in the restrictors in the showers heads. If you take some pliers with you, you can take these out. Apart from that, the bed was very comfy, I had foam pillows for allergies and these were comfortable. Big TV on wall and a minibar that was empty apart from some UHT milk. To pay $600 for two nights and not even get a stocked minibar was disappointing. No paperwork, menu, info folders or even a pen and pad in the room, was a bit unusual. Bar is in the lobby, good selection of drinks, went to the hotel restaurant and this doubles for breakfast in the am. Bar is Asian food, not a big menu, just like bites. Staff were friendly and it wasn’t expensive. Pool is on the 10th floor, heated and about 20metres long by 5, not very many loungers/comfy seating (first come first served) bar area up here, but wasn't open, even though the hotel was full as the opening of the Kylie Minogue’s world tour was starting here. Somyou had to order with restaurant, and fair play they would bring it up. They were up and down like a yoyo. Saturday/Sunday rates I suppose the local Management not wanting to pay. Gym seemed a good size, but couldn't find the Sauna. The beauty place was closed when we went there. I would stay here again, most staff we saw in the lobby never greeted you with a smile, just treated you like a number. However, its a chain hotel and they were busy. Qatar Airlines and Singapore Airlines crew stay here, so it must be good enough for them. Just my fair review of a Accor Silver member.

We booked the Novotel Murray street for 2 nights while I was attending a conference (20th and 21st Nov). Check in was distracted due to the fire service being present. We had booked a Suite with inclusions such as free non alcoholic mini bar and fruit Basket etc: We are Accor Platinum Members. Arrived in the room to find nothing there. Raised this with front office the next morning and was told they would ensure that the concierge would get to the room by midday. ! I then said we would be checking out after breakfast the next morning. The Platinum Amenities were delivered ( A bottle of De Bortoli Legacy red : really cheap fare when Margaret River is around the corner) was disappointing. We left this and a whole bunch of Allens snakes and lollies in the room ! The Breakfast was good with excellent quality ingredients. The Service was quite underwhelming : The chef would call out " Service" and 5 mins later I would have to walk up and get my poached eggs which were beginning to run cold. Floor staff were busy cleaning tables ! The Coffee was excellent. Ideally dont dust the croissants with icing sugar ! they are not meant to be sweet . The dinner at Miss Mi was highly anticipated but while presented beautifully, did not hit the mark in terms of taste, for what I would call good Asian fusion . Being of Sri Lankan heritage I can vouch that the soft shell crab with Sri Lankan yellow curry was no where near authentic. I will review Miss Mi separately.
Overall for the small price difference I would stay at the Duxton where we spent our last night ( Suite room ( C114) with swan river views newly refurbished with Club lounge access for $460 vs $350 at the Novotel) if I had to do it again.

I booked 2 nights here in a superior king room, upgraded from standard, as part of a luxury package which included breakfast and a food and beverage credit. On arrival, the welcome I got was not the friendly one I have got in the past at other Accor hotels. The female staff member at reception spoke quite abruptly and appeared to not be happy with being disturbed from whatever she was looking at on a screen. All the other staff, including bar, breakfast and checking out were more than helpful. Room 2611 had plenty of space, nice décor and a view of the city area. It was very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was modern with room to hang towels and place toiletries etc. It had a rain shower as well as a hand held shower, adequate lighting and nice fluffy towels. The only negative here was that the glass shower screen needed to be a bit wider. The buffet breakfast was very enjoyable both mornings with lots of choice, hot and cold. Definitely didn't go away hungry. A lovely relaxing stay here before starting an outback road trip.

We were on a Discovery Australia package which included 5 nights accomodation with breakfast and in our wisdom we decided to upgrade from the default accomodation option to Novotel- expecting a 4 star service- well we were stupid!! On check in we were requested to pay $100 per night security fee ie $500 and never have we encountered this with a pre paid holiday package. Ok I get it that monies is on hold and returned to you however in reality you have $500 less in your account to access and in NO documentation was thus mentioned. We contacted Discover Australia and they had never heard of it before and their attempts to address it were unsuccessful.
We ended speaking to the Assistant Manager who informed us all ACOR motels had this policy implemented April 2024 and there was a delay process in conveying the updated policy to their online platforms and travel groups/ consultants.
We searched ACOR site policy and t&c sand no such directive found- odd to say the least.
Checked other motels and none of them took a security fee if pre booked accomodation with a third party.
Novotel released the security fee, offered an apology and 4 drink coupons as compensation.
The room we had (609) was two double beds and it was tight, air conditioning a miserable fail- even setting it to the lowest temp gave us minimal relief.
Then the cooked breakfast, usually $39 pp, continental $28 pp, was pitiful. Luke warm so called hot items and small selection for continental. As for tea and coffee, if you were not familiar with the machines- good luck!!
So glad to leave the place and would never recommend or return again.

After our Uber from the airport (approx $30), check in went smoothly. We had two rooms adjacent to each another on the second floor towards the front of the hotel. The room was lovely and clean, quite spacious with floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom was also large with a powerful rainforest shower. The bar/restaurant was ticking over every time we walked through reception. The food looked great when we visited the bar but we didn’t eat there. The swimming pool was very warm which was a bonus! There were ample extra towels to use. They’re also a sauna and a steam room. The hotel is in a fab position with bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The hop on hop off bus stop was literally fifty metres away which was a perfect way to explore the city. We would highly recommend this hotel due it location and cleanliness.

We booked two nights through a Qantas special which included room upgrade, dining credit, late check out and breakfast. The room was semi spacious and clean with a large shower. We ordered room service with a bottle of sparkling rose and when delivered we were pleasantly surprised we had received a bottle of Jantz which was a lovely gesture. The breakfast accommodated all tastes and was clean. The staff all welcoming and friendly. The hotel is a five minute walk straight down to the Murray and Hay Street Malls. We dined in the Italian restaurant across the street one night which was very busy so make sure you book. The hotel was good for a two night stay.

The Novotel is in a perfect location in Perth, right in the main part of the CBD without feeling like you are in a touristy busy area. Short walk to any restaurants or shopping and Murray street is quite trendy and buzzing of an evening. Don't worry about on-site parking, there is a paid multi-level carpark opposite the hotel which is around $20 for a 24 hour period on a weekend. The rooms had everything we needed, the lobby was spacious and comfortable and we had dinner there a few nights. The on-site restaurant Miss Mi has incredible Asian food of an evening and definitely worth visiting. The breakfast buffet was fine and of the normal standard you would expect. I would happily return to this hotel as the location and amenities were exactly what was expected and the price is quite good when you can get a Luxury Escapes deal.

A conveniently located hotel in Perth where we stayed for 5 nights. Check-in was easy and quick, with friendly helpful staff as soon as you walk into the foyer. Our room was comfortable for our stay, with excellent wifi available. The issue that arose related to servicing of the room, which we left early in the morning to return later in the afternoon/evening, each day. The shower came with the containers holding (shampoo, shower gel and conditioner). That's all well and good, but not much use when some of the containers were found to be empty on first use. Seeking out the staff member who was servicing the floor, the issue was brought to their attention, to be was rectified shortly after. On our 3rd day we returned shortly before 7pm, finding our room had been serviced with the bed made, though we had no towels, rubbish bins had not been emptied, no milk or coffee capsules were supplied. Again this was all rectified after a visit to a staff member in the foyer. As the hotel rates between 3 and 5, depending on the day, the average is 4.

For an upper class hotel I was quite disappointed. First and most important thing to note is you will be charged a $100 security deposit per day you stay. So if you happen to be there for a tour that lasts 5 days be prepared to pay $500. Yes okay it’s only on a hold but like most people in this economy we budget our money and if that was put away to use well time for a plan B! Second breakfast - as welcomed it was especially on tour days, I can’t say I enjoy having a cold ‘hot’ breakfast. Now I’d understand if I was coming down at 8/9 but we were there at 6:30 when they opened and the food was still cold?? A little tip is that you can ask for an omelette and eggs your way which is included. Third room - it was a nicely presented room, nice amenities of the bathroom. However the aircon wasn’t really cool at all. We had it on the lowest temperature possible 14.5 and when the night air came through it was cooler outside then in the room. Made for a pretty restless sleep. Would I recommend hmm this is a tough one - the $100 a day security deposit is quite step and I feel very unreasonable - I know it’s from head office but it doesn’t leave a nice taste in the mouth as a welcoming to Perth.
