Inspired by the powerful multicultural portraiture of renowned Australian street artist Matt Adnate, the hotel’s east-facing wall features one of the world’s largest ‘mega murals’ – a monumental artwork spanning 25 storeys; the largest ever painted by Adnate. Colourful and soulful, the 250-room hotel is an open invitation of hospitality and discovery. Each of the rooms welcomes with design-inspired interiors and giclee prints of the artist’s most-recognised works, complemented by canvas-inspired bed runners. With all the little details taken care of, they’re the perfect place to kick back and relax behind closed doors. Offering city views, an outdoor pool and Hyde Perth Kitchen + Cocktails, a chic, music-inspired restaurant and bar. If you like to stay in shape or are just simply feeling like a little exercise, take advantage of our onsite gym. In the lobby, two original canvases greet with awe-inducing detail, while two large-scale murals and 650 giclee prints of Adnate’s most-recognised works weave their way throughout. And, as always, our complimentary art tours, in-room art channels and art libraries provide the perfect opportunity to broaden your creative horizons. This hotel does not accept cash as a payment method. Credit, debit and prepaid cards are accepted to buy goods and services.

The Adnate hotel garners applause for its prime location and modern atmosphere, with many guests appreciating the clean, spacious rooms. Some travelers, however, raise concerns about the service, mentioning instances of slow bar service and inattentive housekeeping.
While the hotel's cleanliness receives commendation, opinions on value and amenities are divided; guests enjoy the affordable parking but are less impressed with the breakfast costs and the underwhelming amenities for a hotel of its caliber.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights, arriving at 3PM from the BNE Airport via its train to Perth Station. A nice receptionist checked my identity, took my card payment and provided 2 key cards with instructions on operating their 3 fast elevators. Premium room #2410 was carpeted, clean and spacious with a comfortable king across a closet-shelf unit with a hot pot, refrigerator, coffee machine, large TV(good reception of ~20 channels) and a fully outfitted bathroom with a shower stall. The room’s open WIFI was excellent, quiet central AC with wall control, many outlets and a large window view of His Majesty’s Theater and downtown Perth. Well designed room throughout with a filled minibar, room cleaned daily and the nice reception personnel was helpful with needed copies. The 1st floor has a welcoming bar/restaurant and I used their nice 7 station gym but not the outside pool.

Location/Parking: A great spot in the city close to Hay and Murray St Malls. The Wilsons Car Park, backs on to the hotel and is easy & convenient, the Hotel can validate the ticket to ensure a prefered price of AUD $25 per 24 hour stay.
Check-in: Daniela at front desk was both welcoming and professional for both check in and check out and well recognised my Accor Membership.
Overall I had an enjoyable first time stay, having stayed previously at most Accor Hotels in Perth.
Rooms: Excellent room type for my stay in terms of size, the welcome amenity and note also most appreciated. (not sure about the pillow's, though quite round to try and sleep on). The room was perfectly clean & well presented, the bathroom provides luxe toiletries by APPELLES (a leading Australian brand).
Facilities: Well appointed 1st Floor Restaurant, great decor, also next to the Pool.
Other: The only issue was on Sat the 1st mid morning, prior to check out, I was hoping to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine utilising my complimentary drink voucher, unfortunately the server didn't seem to know how this worked, unaware of my claim that it usually includes beer wine and soft drinks, I was advised only coffee tea or softs drinks could be provided, and the server claimed they can't service alcohol till after 11:30. My understanding of local serving regulations is that as long as the outlet is open and indeed for an inhouse guest at that, full service would usually be available. I emailed the hotel this comment, but have yet to receive a reply.
Other than that a very enjoyable stay, I look forwarding to further stays in the future.

We chose this for our 3 night stay from the Accor stable of hotels in Perth, for its central location, good reviews and pricing. Booked a deluxe room which was spacious, and offered everything one needed of a 4 star hotel. Sanitary fittings were good, and whilst toiletries were limited to shower, shampoo and conditioner dispensed from wall hung bottles, they were quality ones. The hotel did have a leaflet saying they had dispensed with single use amenities and plastic bottles, but some amenities like dental/shaving/sewing/vanity kits were available on request. Fair enough. Room came complete with a Nespresso machine and good selection of tea bags. Top marks too to the staff at the 3-man reception counter who were always cheerful, and on hand. Breakfast was surprisingly good, with eggs to order for its English breakfast selection, except that there was no variety. Long staying guests would have a problem with that.
Con was that there was only one main light switch which threw the room in total darkness once switched off (apart from the bathroom). There were two bedside wall hung pull out lights to compensate, but more spot lighting lighting options would have been appreciated. And despite earlier complaints of uneven housekeeping standards, we too were faced with an un-emptied bin in the bathroom the day following check in.
It is not swanky, and it is roadside disembarkation along Hay Street itself. No impressive driveways like Westin or Como the Treasury, but for its price, it is value for money. Qantas puts it crew there, so there is something to be said for the hotel.

Just okay - bed comfortable, and room is clean, but can’t help think that this hotel falls short of what one would expect from a five star hotel. For instance, there was no free water in the room, weekend dry cleaning charged at 50% extra, and no bathroom amenities beyond hand wash and soap. There is a pool and gym, but no showers outside of the room - so if you’re checking out at 11am (they didn’t offer me an extended check out til midday) then you don’t have the option to grab a quick shower either after your gym workout or before you grab a flight. Bar service was slow (when it was actually staffed) and it was not table service either. The staff are nice, and the hotel is clean with good sized rooms - but it does fall short from what I had expected from such a well reviewed place, I won’t lie.

Pros: Central location in the city center; sights, restaurants etc. within walking distance. Modern furnishings; renovated/good condition. Relatively large room Prices okay
Cons: Air conditioning difficult to adjust - too hot or too cold. Showers only with closed bathroom door, otherwise danger fire alarm (due to sensor). Room decor somewhat desolate - since no sofa or the like despite large space. Room service partly not very thoroughvund only active in the later afternoon. Environment ghostly at night/evening due to sudden, extensive desertion, homeless ... Would not take the hotel again.

This hotel is decent overall as it's rather clean, neat and very well located. I'm not sure why it is considered a 5 star hotel as it's features are merely lined up with 4 star facilities. Check In was relatively quick however I was quite disappointed that we did not receive any drink vouchers (as we did previously at Novotel on Murray Street and was told that drink vouchers are given at all Accor hotels). The rooms were nicely sized, leaving you with ample space to move around. The bathroom is well designed and large. However the carpet in the room is extremely rough on your feet and rather dirty. I think choosing a light color for the carpet was a bad idea. Additionally, we were not given any free bottle water which is usually a standard feature in many other hotels, especially for members of their rewards program. The pool and breakfast were definitely the biggest let down of this '5-star' hotel. The pool was small and looked really squished. The breakfast had limited variety ( once again, especially compared to Novotel which is not a 5 star hotel) and limited space. The furniture at the breakfast area, is all stained from use, which is highlighted because of the light colours. Breakfast is only served between 7am and 10am which is really early/short during the weekend. Parking was ideally located, close to the hotel, and only $10 a day during the weekend (one exit) or $25 a day during the week and weekend (with unlimited exits).

The hotel is fine. The rooms are large and well appointed, but they need to pay more attention to the small things. Window ledges in halls and rooms, the top of the bed head, bedside table etc should not be dusty upon gust arrival. Staff should be attentive - the bar staff specifically were very distracted, one of them even said to me he was so distracted by all the folks coming in all dressed up that he couldn’t concentrate on my order. Poolside glasses and plates need to be cleared regularly. Pool towels should be available during all hours of pool being open.

Had a great stay at the Adnate Hotel Perth surrounded by such incredible art. It really is so beautiful, and it was so interesting to learn more about Matt Adnate. We stayed in a larger room on higher floor with great views of the city. Hotel is in a very central position close to malls and RAC arena.
Breakfast dining was a little disappointing. Not so much the limited choices, but tables were often not set or cleared, cutlery and glasses were in constant short supply etc. There was also an $8 extra charge (on top of full breakfast) for omelettes. I heard a few complaints there. Saying that, the omelettes were the best we’ve had. Really good.
Room was comfortable, clean, modern and housekeeping was excellent.

Falls short of a 5 star hotel. Bed was good and room was spacious enough however, no personal amenities other than soap/shampoo etc in bathrooms. The cleaning of the room was inconsistent - rubbish left out some days, coffee cups not replaced, some things cleaned properly others not touched. Hallway was very loud and you can hear people come and go easily.
The staff at the hotel lacked experience, bar staff in particular was horrible in his approach to customers (written complaint to Accor about this).
Location of the hotel is pretty decent with good options for eating. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again as there are better options in Perth.

Five nights in this hotel booked directly with ALL. We requested a king room but were placed in the wheelchair accessible room without clear reason?
On three separate days we had to specifically request housekeeping come and help make up the room and then wait downstairs for several hours for this to occur. One day the room had no toilet paper or tissues and we had to request this three times before it was sent up.
Perfectly acceptable hotel overall but a misnomer to list this as five stars. Quite disappointing compared to true luxury hotel experiences
