Customer service isn’t just a promise at this hotel. Manuela from the concierge team was very helpful offering us a cost effective room upgrade to accommodate our son and our elderly parents. She also assisted us where she could in our search for credit cards that my dad had temporarily misplaced. The rooms are lovely with the beds being very comfy. The amenities are very clean and breakfast is extensive and tasty. Whilst it doesn’t offer the amazing views of the Waterfront Doubletree, it is a super central location and offers better rates.

Amazing hotel - great vibe, great service and modern rooms. This hotel makes me feel at home with team members (Roberto, James, Sinan, Mo, Bella to name a few) always going above and with a smile.

The rooms are modern and well appointed - light and bright in the day and with block out blinds and curtains for the night. Beds are super comfortable with big pillows.

The bathroom has a great well lit mirror, shower has great water pressure and the handwash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner are all Crabtree and Evelyn - wonderful!

I've stayed in Perth, at the Waterfront but keep coming back to Doubletree Northbridge because of the great vibe, James St Bar and Kitchen (fabulous breakfast, cocktails) and the staff who give amazing customer service!

The hotel is nice and modern, it has a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with shower gel etc.Breakfast has a good choice of items. The pool area could benefit from some more shade as the morning sun is very hot. The tiles around the pool also need a good clean as they are very dirty at the top of the water line with sun cream etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the centre of the city with easy access to public transport and lots of eateries. Will be staying again at the end of January and looking forward to it.

The hotel itself is in a great location if you’re looking to be amongst great food/busy streets and bars. Unfortunately our trip was damped but the lack of communication in regards to our problems with our air con, we expressed it felt like it was barely working as our room was quite hot on the high temperature days throughout our stay, day one we told hotel front desk who said 18.5 was the lowest temp and didn’t seem to want to help nor cared, after another two days I inquired again as it was still not cool, this time the lady at the desk said she will send maintenance, no further communication was given. The third day we got a text check in where I once again for the third time expressed my enquiry with the air con, this was a 38 degree day, we were told maintenance will check and once again no further communication. On our third day our rooms were not cleaned by 3pm, we had to ask for extra towels and by the time the cleaner got to our room we were getting ready to go out so told her not to worry. In no regards am I putting blame on the cleaner herself she was very apologetic and lovely.
The pool was too cold to swim in 3/4 days yet on the first day it was a lovely temperature.
The buffet breakfast was great.
Would I stay here again for the price we pay? No
Never greater when walking in or out unlike other hotels we’ve stayed in and the lack of communication in regards to problems has really disappointed us.

Digital key system did not work, could get in the lift but the actual room door would not open. Had to get regular keys back at reception.

For a semi-luxe brand the room is pretty tight and what little space is next to the bed is taken up by an oversized unnecessary chair

The shower head was the most disappointing feature of the room. If you have a rain shower type shower head, don't use water limiters to save water/money. We all want to save water and the environment, but if I'm paying 200+ a night I want a decent shower, not a dribble. Your showers would be fine if you had a regular shower head. You can have limiters or rainshowers, not both.

Tried to call room service or reception for an hour from the room phone and it was always busy signal, ended up calling hotel on my mobile phone to get room service. They apologised for the rom phone, but suspect this is common issue.

Despite all these things for the hotel to save money, they then have a motorised blind between the bedroom and the shower, it's frankly a bit creepy.

The location is great if Northbridge is what you're after, but other options at this price point may provide better value.

First of all I just want to say that the Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I paid for a King deluxe room and was on the 7th floor.
Views were mostly faced towards the city with a glimpse of the river and pool and roof.
Room was a good size and bed very comfortable, however that is where it ends in terms of positives.

I had not read reviews well enough but can confirm you will hear ongoing sounds of water rushing through the pipes at all hours. I quickly realised the sounds were from other guests flushing toilets or showering. It was virtually non stop during my first night
The room had not been cleaned properly with cereal under the table and sand / dirt in the bathroom floor
It was clear the toilet floor had not been mopped either

I requested a new room which the staff organised for my 2nd night however I immediately heard the same sound but now from the 10th floor.
Clearly this is a design or engineering issue with the building.

Although the room is a good size and well appointed with nice views, the ongoing sound of water running is pretty ordinary

In the end I was happy to check out and move to a different hotel .

I feel for the money there are better alternatives in Perth.

Excellent experience. All the staff were wonderful. Our first room was on L7 and we could hear party noise at night. We understand that Northbridge is a noisy area. When I mentioned this to Alex (front desk) he was very helpful and understood our situation. He moved us to L11 which was way better. The room was great, the breakfast food was fine. The buffet had the basics and you could get omelettes or other egg choices made. Jeremy made the perfect fried egg and omelette. For dinner, we ate twice at the hotel. Both times, the lamb and the steak were cooked to perfection.
Re staff, Evitha was so friendly in the mornings, Jeremy - a great chef. Frontline staff of Alex, Amy, Santiago and Manuela were exceptionally friendly.
The only thing I would suggest is that any private functions held in the pool area on L3 be made to have their music no louder than say 75db. There was a function there where I recorded well into the 90's - we could hear it on L11. Anything above 85db is damaging to the ear. I'm not reducing the stars re this matter as it was turned down when I requested it to be.
Overall, a great and enjoyable stay

Stay was average, when i got to room it was clean, the two bottles of water supplied however one was open and half drunk which wasnt pleasing. I then asked for a bucket of ice for my wine (which cost 42$ for a $12 bottle) and the room service lady was so rude and blunt over the phone and sounded like it was a inconvenience to ask for ice. Over all an ok stay

Spent 4 nights in total. Wednesday to Sunday. Upon check in with young, snobby staff went to my room to find I was allocated a wheelchair accessible room in error. Upon my horror, room was dirty with yellow stained shower curtain. Requested room change. Next room, acceptable but full of dust everywhere (not sure what extra covid cleaning is meant to include if phone looks like it hasn't been dusted in 6 months).

First 2 nights fine, bed very comfortable. Bathroom nice and spacious with automatic blind between bedroom/shower. Room very tight with occasional chair squeezed into a corner so it was hard to access the bed from one side of the room. Housekeeping was not provided on first day and when I enquired, was told by reception I had to request it (really for the $$ spent)?

Friday and Saturday are lively nights in the area with night clubs that thump and pump music until 5am so if you are a light sleeper don't stay here. I was on the corner of Level 13 and seriously, hardly any sleep was had due to party scene down on street and club level.

Location wise - city vibe but with $2 peep show located directly across from hotel which is also surrounded by an adult shop. Friday night we returned to the hotel to have a "working lady" using the front entrance of the hotel as her meeting point and using the lobby bathroom to freshen up. Guests in the hotel were very young and I got the feeling the hotel was being used for groups to stay cheaply and party all night going in and out of the rooms in the early hours of the morning.

Live music in the bar was nice. Drinks very pricey so the in house discount promo that I was staying on definitely helped.

Breakfast in the restaurant was good but coffee machine dreadful - resembled dirty tap water in colour and smell.

Would not stay here again and would not recommend. Perhaps for 20 year olds it would be fine.

We needed a place at the last minute with early check-in. we were in Singapore and made a few calls but with little luck, finally got hold of the Double Tree and they were great to deal with even with a lousy connection. We arrive in Perth and checked in a 5am with ease. Great block out blinds gave us a dark room allowing much needed sleep.
The location is so central in North bridge with access to all the nightlife and fantastic selection of restaurants, Staff were warm and welcoming.
