Stayed here for four nights in May. Given that we have stayed here now on a number of occasions we have obviously been largely happy with this hotel. Luckily we have not experienced the noise that some other reviewers appear to have done which is maybe due to the fact that our apartments have always been further down the pier towards the ocean end of the building rather than nearer the street and the restaurants/bars at that end of the building. On this stay we had a one bedroom apartment that faced out towards Brooke Street Pier where the Mona ferries arrive and depart. There were great views of Mount Wellington and the waterfront from our lounge room. The apartment had on the ground floor a large bathroom and a combined kitchenette/dining/lounge room. The bathroom was quite long and had a shower in the bath (good pressure), a good sized vanity, with plenty of room for toiletries, and a washing machine and dryer. The combined dining/lounge room was furnished with a small round dining table with two chairs, a desk with a single chair, a small table that had a lamp on it, a coffee table, a two and a half seater lounge and a wall mounted flat screen TV. The kitchenette was equipped with a reasonable sized fridge, a microwave, cooktop, dish washer, kettle and sufficient glasses, crockery and cutlery for two people. There was also a few pots and pans which would assist in cooking some simple meals if that's what you wished to do. The bedroom was in an open loft/mezzanine area that overlooked the dining/lounge room. The bedroom was accessed by climbing 14 stairs. There was a king sized bed (comfortable), with a bedside table and lamp on either side of the bed. a large wardrobe that had a safe in it, a small built in desk/dressing table and a wall mounted flat screen TV. WIFI was included and worked reasonably well. The reverse cycle air-conditioning system also worked very well in heating up the apartment, albeit it was fairly noisy. The apartment was very clean. The apartments are serviced daily except on Sundays unless you specifically requested a service. Staff at check-in and at check-out were very friendly and helpful. I did notice as we unpacked that one of the bedside lamps was missing and requested a replacement from reception as we went out for a walk. Upon our return I noticed that it had been replaced. Far out weighing any other factor though is this hotel's location - right in the middle of all the action on the waterfront. It is only a short five to ten minute walk from a myriad of cafes, restaurants and shops as well as Salamanca Square and the Salamanca Saturday market. Within a 10 to 15 minute walk, albeit slightly uphill, you would be in Battery Point (if accessed by Kelly's Steps) or the main shopping centre. We will stay here again.

Great Location, friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and very clean apartments. We did a city break with our family of four, kids loved we loved it, definitely require more than a weekend to explore. It was right next to MONA wharf, Salamanca markets, and some lovely cafes and restaurants. We also did the pennicott wilderness tours and we loved it! Our city break was truly a memorable experience very underrated. We will be back to stay for at least a week next time.

We stayed for only a weekend, but it had great facilities and was central to everything in Hobart. We are a family of four and it was very spacious, and had everything we needed included parking. We will definitely be back. The views from our room was wonderful, and the staff was very friendly and the hotel apartment was very clean. Walking distance to everything, Salamanca markets, MONA wharf, Also Highly recommend the pennicott wilderness journeys tours next to the hotel.

Stayed here on our last night in Tassie. Got an apartment with a balcony overlooking Constitution Dock with amazing views. Nice spacious apartment with two bedrooms and two toilets and close to Salamanca area and some great cafes and restaurants. Also close by to Battery Point which is a beautiful suburb. Parking outside or hotel has arranged a few parking spots nearby so no problem there. Rooms are lovely but need to be sound proofed as I got woken up early by the person in room next door who got up early, showered and banged his front door early in the morning.
