Overall customer service was lacking. Ordered some room service as we had somewhere to be, at the time the food was expected to arrive, we received a call to say they were having an issue with room service and we would have to re-order then come down and collect. As we didn’t have time, we had to quickly find an alternative bite to eat. We also ordered cocktails at the bar to be told, take and seat but if we don’t receive our drinks in 5 minutes, come back up to check. We were happy to wait! Their kitchen also closes at 7:30pm, which seems odd for a Saturday night! Also no cutlery provided in the room, other than 2 teaspoons and when chrome casting a movie, it just kept dropping out. Overall, we felt a bit of an inconvenience and will not be returning should we stay on the GC again.

After a few initial hiccups which they tried to help with, we enjoyed our stay.
The room that we booked in to we had an issue with the sliding door as it couldn't lock, not ideal with a 3yr old. They then moved us to a family room but we still had to wait a few hours before we could access it, they provided us with some drinks tokens (thank you!). The 2nd room looked like it had just been re-arranged and not cleaned, just the bedding changed. There was also only 1 set of crockery & cutlery in the kitchenette. Hubby had to request more eating utensils and get the empty soap dispenser in the bathroom replaced.
Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

All the staff were very friendly and tried to be accommodating however they are badly let down by housekeeping and maintenance.
Our room was missed twice completely over two weeks and we even spoke to the housemaid who was doing the room next door to be told it’s not on her list. We even saw the supervisor checking rooms but it still never got done.
However my biggest complaint is the room was a little dated and could do with a spruce up. We reported a soaking wet carpet three times even taking someone in to show them where it was wet and still nothing done about it.

The staff at the front counter was very rude to my husband, we lost our luggage tags and instead of offering assistance and understanding, he belittled by husband and talked down to him. He definitely should not be working in customer service. The initial guy who checked us in was also less than welcoming.
We thought we'd give it a chance as we wouldn't really have to deal with staff once checked in and in our room, but the room was not as advertised. It was basically like a motel room, the shower was in the bathtub and did not much space, the shower screen was pointless and the floors ended up being soaked. The room wasn't very clean, there were marks all over the wall and spiderwebs in the corner. The carpet had no underlay, so it was uncomfortably hard. The room also had bad sound proofing, we could hear noise from the hallway all night.
We ended up canceling our second night there because of this.
Considering the outdated amenities and overall poor condition of the facilities, the pricing seems unjustifiable.
It's baffling how Vibe justifies its rates when competing establishments offer far superior accommodations at similar or even lower prices.

The first room we checked into, the tv was broken and had no remote. There was poo stains in the toilet, we had no kettle. For a $40 upgrade you’d think it’d be a good room. The second room was better but the none of the phones worked in the room so we had to call reception on our mobile phones which was a bit annoying. The first night we stayed there we were woken up by the people next door at 7am from them screaming and yelling and throwing stuff about in their room. Then heard a woman outside crying, I understand this isn’t the hotels fault but pretty annoying. Not sure if reception did anything after I notified them. Our last night the car park was full, we paid for parking in advance and if there was a better car park system I don’t think there would be a problem, we called and asked if we could stay next to the Tesla in the ev parking but reception told us no but the lady was very helpful and saved us a spot just in front of the hotel. Overall I don’t think I would be staying there again, it’s in a great location but I think the rooms are far too dated and for $300 a night it’s a bit of a rip off as well as paying for carpark.

They couldn’t provide hand towels or face washers, apparently they had none. No fan in the bathroom or window to let fresh air in. Couldn’t provide extra blankets for each person staying in the room. I asked for three, I got told sorry you can only have 2! Couldn’t provide me with a shower chair/stool as I am currently injured and cannot stand for long. So it’s terrible for people with disabilities. I had to ask about the shower chair 3 times only on the last call one lovely lady said she would find me a chair that fits. And she did. Honestly it was a normal chair and probably quite dangerous to use but I had no other choice. They charge $5 for room service delivery even if you just want a bottle of water. The floors in the rooms feel like you are walking on concrete. Only upside to this room was the bed and pillows were very comfy. We tried using the spa. It was Luke warm. Not what a spa should feel like. We complained and got met with if you turn the bubbles off it will get warmer. It didn’t. Pretty disappointed we could only sit in the spa for 10 mins. Only upside to this place is location, but honestly I would never stay here again.

Not a guy to do a review but bloody hell worst stay ever, the room wasn't clean. when we checked in there was left over milk was in the fridge. the BEDDING!!! was old bedding from previous people that stunk to, asked to get them changed four times before getting fresh sheets, we slept in the dirty sheets for 2 nights cause they wouldn't do anything about it , i can deal sub par cleaned room, but the bed is what relaxes you, so to twin beds pushed together and old dirty sheets that got stain's and stinks from people before doesn't cut it, all i got was a free breakfast and honestly that wasn't good at all, if you gonna make someone sleep in a dirty bed for two nights, should of gave them something a little more, tv was so glitchy you'd be watching tv then it'll keep going to the home page

The experience was one of peace, comfort, relaxation and quality service. The staff made the experience just as enjoyable as the trip itself. The location was on point (close to all the action), the room was exceptionally comfortable, the balcony added that outdoor touch to take in view of the Gold Coast- we had a river/city/beach view which was great. Sunrise and sunset could be seen and the room was spacious and above what we had expected. I would highly recommend staying at Vibe if you get the chance.

We have spent many holidays in hotels on the Gold Coast and this is by far the least impresive.
The hotel presents well, is in a great position and the staff are all very good. The breakfast is fantastic as are the restaurant staff but that's where it ends.
For some strange reason the management have oursourced the room cleaning to some company that has no idea what to do. 1st day beds were not made, plastic items from the previous people left in the shower (for 4 days even after we mentioned it) and every day something was missed. Took 4 days before we could get the conditioner filled and a couple of soap blocks. In the end the recepionist had to come up after hours to clean the bathroom and supply the missing items. Next day all the old towles were left behind but new ones installed.
To the management, employ staff to do these jobs. We saw the "quality" of the cleaning people and can understand why the quality of service was so poor!!!!
Obviously will never stay there agan=in and have already told people we know who frequent the Gold Coast to give you guys the flick.

We loved our stay at The Vibe Goldcoast. Was a lovely change staying overlooking the river but being only a few minutes walk to the beach and Cavill Avenue. Probably the best value hotel I’ve stayed in. Great vibe at night by the pool/spa overlooking the river with happy hour and right next door to Surfers Pavillion for dinner.
No parking nearby although you can justify the $30 hotel parking (can come and go as you please) when the rooms are such great value. We will be back!

There is a tram stop ( light rail) near the corner of Cavill Avenue between vibe and beach. Cannot think of the name of the road though
I think you need to contact the hotel directly about that and also have a parent on standby to guarantee your stay and provide approval. Vibe are pretty cruisey people and very reasonsable to deal with. Worth a call!
The views from the back of hotel on higher floor are the ocean, the front of hotel is tower blocks. Either side, the noise from deliveries from 4am is unbearable! Book a different hotel if you’d like a good nights sleep!
