The entire stay was very disappointing from the arrival to departing. Problem after problem which for the expense of having the privilege to stay at the Langham certainly did not live up to what would be expected from such a Hotel.

We have spent the last 6 days here and our stay was perfect. The staff were all kind and very courteous during all interactions, and when there was the smallest issue like a drink taking a little longer from the bar it was not charge for without even asking. The service we received was second to none. We had some wind noise issues in our room on the first day and a new one was sorted with no issues at all again. They were always bending over backwards to make our stay as welcoming as possible. We will definitely be back as the place, the staff and the service was beautiful. Yeah it is more expensive than other places but it is worth every cent and more. Thank you to all the staff you made our holiday and us feel special the entire time. Lastly that scent as you walk into the foyer is just magical. If only I could get my hands on that for home. Pure elegance.

far the worst experience at a hotel of this quality we have ever encountered. Firstly, we are not the type of people to complain. But the second we laid down on the bed it immediately struck us as uncomfortable, hard as concrete and noisey. We had a double room with two double beds and each made a creaking sound every time we moved. Unlike anything we have ever experienced. After our first night of no sleep we contacted reception, again it is not in our nature to complain, we have stayed in 5 star accommodation around the world and never had cause to complain. We were greeted by a receptionist that put us through to a manager Sharon. She politely advised she would offer an alternative room, an “upgrade” it would be ready in an hour.. Sharon contacted us when the room was ready so we could inspect, upon visiting the room, whilst it was on a higher level and had a better view. And when we checked the beds for the creaking sounds they were just as bad. We mentioned to Sharon that there is no point moving rooms for a bed that’s the same, she said she would send something nice to our room as an apology for our discomfort. Well nothing ever arrived. Not that we wanted anything, apart from a comfortable night. Following this stay, our next stop was a caravan park where the we stayed in a cabin. The beds were much more comfortable for a quarter of the price… again, we are not people who generallly complain, we get that places don’t always get it right, but we contacted your employees, they knew we weren’t happy, they then proceeded to tell us they would try to fix it. And did absolutely nothing. Upon check out, I told this story again and got the exact same response… nothing. Anyway, here in what you will get from me, we will never stay at a Langham hotel again, and I will now be posting negative feedback on absolutely every forum available. 3 nights of no sleep is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. It was absolutely pathetic service. And the worst we have experienced anywhere in the world.

The hotel itself is amazing. My daughter booked a room for us as a Xmas present. We were happily surprised when we were upgraded to an ocean view room. We could not fault the room. Amazing. However….. Our experience around the pool area was totally sub-par. Both days the bar had run out of ingredients for several cocktails (why wouldn’t they restock overnight). We noticed a vacant pool lounge with copious empty glasses and half eaten food, in over an hour no one came to clean it away. Every few minutes the waiters would walk past with food stopping at every chair asking if the food was theirs. All day. It got to the point it was beyond annoying and we could hear other guests making the same comment. I can’t believe this is at a 5 star hotel. A few snacks took 45 min to arrive and the menu was limited. The barcodes weren’t even working on the poolside tables, and the spa wasn’t working. Even check-in, we stood in line for 15-20min. Overall, amenities 5/5, service 1/5.

Poor experience ended up in a one very small bedroom apartment with no hotel facilities. Booking is misleading so what was supposed to be special was very ordinary. T'ang restaurant food is okay but has no ambience at all. Would not let my wife check in while i parked car because I made the booking.
