We have just had 2 weeks at this lovely motel, not what we had planned but our campervan had a major breakdown so we needed to stay in Darwin while it was being sorted out. What a great find, such friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had a ground floor room with a kitchenette and a patio. It was near everything we needed to get to, short walk to the beautiful Botanic Gardens and a short walk the other way to the city. Ideal spot to pop over to the famous Mindel Beach Markets and very handy to bus routes to get anywhere else in Darwin. The rooms and grounds were spotless and although we were next to the road, we heard no noise at night . Comfortable furnishings and tastefully decorated, it felt like home ! Thank you to you all for making our stay so pleasant.

Do not hesitate booking this motel. Was a bit apprehensive seeing the awful traveller photos, but I needn't have been. This place is very efficiently operated and cleaner than some of the higher priced in town. Staff are all very helpful and location is convenient enough. Overall a good stay. Thank you Vitina Studio Motel!

We really enjoyed our one night stay at Vitina, the ground floor room was large & aircon/ceiling fan worked well . There was an outdoor porch area accessible from glass sliding doors with table & chairs provided.Lovely breakfast brought to the room is available at a reasonable cost ! Bed was comfortable & shower was very strong ! Kitchenette with fridge & microwave available. It is close to the Botanical gardens which has a lovely cafe .

Stayed for 5 nights in room with kitchenette on ground level. Positive- didn’t have to carry heavy luggage up stairs, small under cover balcony, good size outside area near pool. Walking distance to shops. Negative- very noisy air con, only 8 lounging chairs in pool area although there are 4 tables and chairs in undercover pool area. Would stay there again

We stayed here for 9 nights. We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious, although the bathrooms are a bit cramped. All the same, the water was plentiful and easily adusted. The Sunday morning breakfast buffet was excellent. The business is close to to almost everything CBD. It was too hot too walk far,but we were rarely more than a couple of km from excellent restaurants etc.

Darwin is very busy at this time of the year which is reflected in high prices for accommodation across town. Many hours were spent researching hotels for our 4 nights before starting a road trip down south. It seemed getting value for money was difficult so in the end we were pleased with our choice. Vitina fit the bill with good reviews on TA. The location is close to the Botanical Gardens and Mindl Markets which suited us. The walk into town was 10-15 minutes and will not suit everyone. The public bus (free for seniors) is excellent and took us just about everywhere until we picked up our hire car. The rooms are small. There’s no getting around that. The Dokana Studio is the basic double bed room and is very compact. However, there are many positives. There was room for 2 suitcases on benches, it was clean and looked recently painted and enough space to move around the room unencumbered. Air-con and overhead fan worked well and were reasonably quiet. There was some noise at night when noisy neighbours returned home well after midnight which can happen anywhere. The area is quiet despite facing on to Gardens Road which is a bit of a raceway at times. The pool area is lovely and welcome in the heat. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly as are the visitors who stay here. People stop and chat which is nice. Parking looked easy if you have a car and overall we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the updated apartment, although small it was comfortable and secure. It was more affordable than some other options and was easy walking distance to the CBD and many other attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a great pool and BBQ area with cooking gear provided from reception. We did have issues with our shower flooding the whole bathroom floor due to poor renovation. Also, the ground floor door was extremely load every time it closed, we heard it every time day and night even though we were at the other end of the building. I'm sure that the whole building heard it too. Fix the door please Vitina - it wouldn't be an expensive job! Or else remove the door - its not really required. Another small point was that people smoked in the washing machine/ laundry area outside our bathroom window and we could smell it in our apartment if the window was open. We would stay there again.

locked out of my room once, the dead bolt contraption falls across when the door shuts and locks the occupant out, it had happened before i was told but no one bothered to fix them blankets in room were not bagged or clean they had been obviously used and just roughly folded put back in the cupboard the doors in the cheaper section dormitory type rooms were heavy hence if they were shut hard the whole floor heard the slamming it should be half the price they are charging very ordinary place no way is it more than 1 star

Vitina was clean, renovated, good sized kitchenette, well serviced, lovely helpful staff. Not in the middle of town, but very walkable to anywhere including Mindil beach and botanic gardens. Lovely pool area. All you could need.
