Upon arrival, hotel seemed ok, quick check in, a little smaller than expected room, bathroom had lots of messy silicone repairs. Spent the warm afternoon in the hotel pool. Around 9pm my husband asked me where the breakfast was served, it was at this time realised I wasn't told anything at check in. After searching, found a sml QR code on the wall for the hotel information. Found out breakfast finishes at 9am (industry average 10am), also read that guests can enjoy free entry to the nearby aquatic centre, unfortunately it was far too late by then. Pity nothing was said at check in, our young son would have loved it. Went to have breakfast, arrived at 8:45am, and the Bain Marie was empty, asked staff about cooking some breakfast, unwilling at first, but reluctantly agreed, we were happy to wait. Went to eat my breakfast, after a few bites, I then noticed a black hair around my hash brown just before I was going to put it in my mouth EEWWW!!! That was the end of breakfast for me and the rest of my family. Told restaurant staff, they apologised, but didn't seem fussed, confirmed the chef indeed has black hair. Spoke with receptionist, and showed her photo, she went out the back and returned a min or so later asking 'is there anything else I can help you with?' Really?? How about breakfast without the chef's 'special seasoning' Unapologetic, and seemed to have no concern, must be a frequent occurrence. Even told her about the lack of information given at check in, she couldn't care less, just saying that's why there is the QR code on the wall 🙄 Wouldn't return, there are plenty of options in Wagga Wagga that value their guests.…
