Upon arrival, hotel seemed ok, quick check in, a little smaller than expected room, bathroom had lots of messy silicone repairs. Spent the warm afternoon in the hotel pool. Around 9pm my husband asked me where the breakfast was served, it was at this time realised I wasn't told anything at check in. After searching, found a sml QR code on the wall for the hotel information. Found out breakfast finishes at 9am (industry average 10am), also read that guests can enjoy free entry to the nearby aquatic centre, unfortunately it was far too late by then. Pity nothing was said at check in, our young son would have loved it. Went to have breakfast, arrived at 8:45am, and the Bain Marie was empty, asked staff about cooking some breakfast, unwilling at first, but reluctantly agreed, we were happy to wait. Went to eat my breakfast, after a few bites, I then noticed a black hair around my hash brown just before I was going to put it in my mouth EEWWW!!! That was the end of breakfast for me and the rest of my family. Told restaurant staff, they apologised, but didn't seem fussed, confirmed the chef indeed has black hair. Spoke with receptionist, and showed her photo, she went out the back and returned a min or so later asking 'is there anything else I can help you with?' Really?? How about breakfast without the chef's 'special seasoning' Unapologetic, and seemed to have no concern, must be a frequent occurrence. Even told her about the lack of information given at check in, she couldn't care less, just saying that's why there is the QR code on the wall 🙄 Wouldn't return, there are plenty of options in Wagga Wagga that value their guests.

The hotel was convenient for meeting with family and dining out, easy to find. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. We dined at the restaurant on last evening. Menu was interesting, main course excellent. A little confusion with dessert, edible but not what was ordered. If Tiramisu was not available, I would have preferred to have been offered an alternative rather than substitute made.

We stayed for 3 nights over Christmas and we were pleasantly surprised by the staff and amenities offered at Wagga Mercure. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the spot is very central in town. We would choose to stay here again!

Reception staff were super helpful and very professional when I advised them my room was not cleaned upon check in and got me into a new room that was far below Accor standards. I was told the manager would contact me the following morning and this never happened and when I called to check if the manager was available, I was told she was not but my number was passed on for her to call me when she was available and this still hasn’t happened. Would not recommend the Mercure, rooms are beyond dated, bathroom is dysfunctional, bed was sloppy and old as the mattress sagged.

We loved our overnight stay. We are Accor silver members and really enjoyed the experience from check-in to check out. The room was a good size, modern, very clean with a great comfortable bed. Bathroom was great and the room was quiet and private. Parking was right outside the room in a nice well-lit area. We received two complimentary drink vouchers due to our membership and enjoyed these as pre dinner drinks at the restaurant. We were also in time for happy hour drinks so that was a nice bonus. We loved our dinner in the restaurant. Staff were very attentive, and the food was just amazing. The pick on the menu is the Beef Tenderloin. Very delicious! Our Accor discount was appreciated as well. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if we are in Wagga again, and would recommend to family and friends.

Bed was very comfy as were the pillows, carpet was stained and dirty, Tv had hand prints all over it, shower door looked like it needed a good scrub and tiles were slippery and dangerous and room smelled of cleaning products that flared my asthma up.. toilet paper was in sheets and what you would expect in a public toilet. Room was quiet and a great space. Fridge was tiny and nothing was cold at all, mini bar was limited.. I paid $280 which is well over priced for what was presented! I think $160 would be more of a fair price. Food ( dinner menu) was beautiful fresh, well presented and priced. Would I stay here again? Not at that price .. very disappointed to say the least

Got a Priviliges room this stay - it means you’re on the bottom floor of the dated 2 storey building. Old and dated. Carpet needs replacing. Very uncomfortable old bed that sink in the middle. Heard every noise from the room above . It’s in a good location - but that doesn’t make up for the tired old room we got
