Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

Great location and rooms. The studio layout was great and a real bonus to have a washing machine and dryer especially after we had used the rooftop pool. Very friendly staff and we always make a point of using Mantra hotels when we travel

Location is excellent. Room had an odour that suggested smokers had stayed there previously and given the high percentage of Chinese tourists that's entirely possible. The staff were excellent and the food of a high quality. Would recommend on location alone.

Mantra 2 bond street provided a wonderful home while in Sydney. A great location easy walk to great sites, and close to public transportation. The hotel itself provides a home base for much exploration.

Great self contained rooms available, loved having laundry and kitchen facilities - home away from home!! Room service and restaurant food was very nice - best steak I have had in a long time. Concierge/Front Desk staff could work on their customer service, not a smile or

How far fromAirport
The fastest way from the airport is by train. Catch train to central station, then change train to Wynyard station . The hotel is 5 minute walk from station. Airport to hotel should take 30 minutes . If you get a taxi from the airport it will take 30 minutes + and will cost you $50+ . If you have a lot of luggage train could be difficult! In this case grab a shuttle bus to the city centre then a taxi to the hotel! Shuttle buses can be booked from the airport.

As far as I understood they are renovating the rooms at the moment, ours was done when we were there in January

"There are rooms looking onto the interior of the hotel which would be quiet but the views are not as good as those on the exterior."
"Higher floor = quite as George street is still in the middle of light rail construction (though they do provide earplugs)."
"There is little to choose between the rooms, the place is surrounded by high rise on all sides so no great views."
"Get a room with no view - quieter!"
"There is still construction on the street/rail right outside, book for the higher rooms for less noise in the morning."
