I wanted to reach out to the hotel and thank them for providing a caring service under distressing circumstances. We were well taken care of by Nazim at check in and he made sure our quick visit was as pleasant as possible. I would also like to thank the bellman who escorted us to our room after check in. The hotel staff is very caring and considerate during this challenging time...especially for crew members who are in lockdown on our layovers. I was so excited for in room dining tonight - lamb shank and quinoa- until I nearly choked on the half a freakin toothpick in my quinoa that I had to dig out of the back of my throat. The food here is beyond disgusting- tuna and Gherkin wraps, chicken pesto and PEA sandwiches and that bread roll with limp lettuce and white stuff is supposed to be a roast beef sandwich!!!! And now this! I will never ever ever stay at a Radisson Blu anywhere. These people are not chefs! Shame on you! This place should be shut down!

Dear Thereisonly1Ajay Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback about the food as you have on all your social media outlets as well as on the groups created for quarantine guests. We understand you have also been regularly contacted by NSW Health and Police regarding various concerns during your stay. The toothpick you have found is a concern and we will look into this. Some items will have packaging or items to hold in place but nothing should be so covert it finds its way in the back of your throat. Being a quarantine hotel since April 2020 we understand that there are a variety of tastes to cater for and we aim to provide variety and dietary requirements to all our guests within the quarantine program. As you know these are unprecedented times and we currently are operating as a quarantine hotel with police, health teams and army which is far from our regular operations as a 5 star hotel. We were here for a stopover at the start of the year before the Covid 19 disaster swallowed everything else up in its wake. We had really liked our compact but oh so clean room, not to mention the pleasing level of service from all the staff with whom we interacted. Would look forward to repeating the experience again someday under the auspices of a post Covid scenario.

We spent the last several days of our Australia Trip September 2019 in Sydney at the Radisson Blu. It was well located, walking distance to many sights, and we even walked to and from the Sydney Opera House one evening for a play. We opted to spend the extra money to stay on the Business Floor in order to have quiet, plus food and drinks. It turned out to be like dining at an exclusive restaurant. Beautifully presented hors d'oeuvres, including vegetables, breads and lovely desserts, plus a variety of very good wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks. It was so relaxing to return to the Radisson after a day of sight-seeing that it was hard to leave. We travel a lot internationally and this was a great choice.
