We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. I would like to commend the staff, they are helpful, friendly and most of all have given us a delightful service.
The garden area serves as a lounge area and smoking area as well.
Pros:
quite and far from the crowd, best for relaxation and watching the day go by.
Near the beach, is just a 3 to 5-minute walk to the beach.
Nearby restaurants, tapsilog eatery, bakery and sari-sari store.
Very friendly staff, super helpful.
Free use of beach towels and beach mats placed in a handy bag.
Shower area in the garden for use after swimming on the beach.
Designated smoking area. The room veranda can also be used as a smoking area.
Decent free breakfast.
Quite and far from the big crowd. You can sleep soundly without the noise of vehicles.
10 to 15 minutes walk to small or 5 minutes via e trike.
Cons:
No direct driveway to the hotel, and the alley is too narrow for an e-trike to pass.
Tips:
When riding e trike you can say individual and pay for 10 to 15 pesos per person or rent it at 100 or 150 depending on the area (regardless of the number of passengers).

Excellent place to stay if you are on a budget and are not looking for frills. The place is a short walk to Station 1 and is not beach front. This didn’t bother us as our surroundings were quiet and safe, with trees as our view. The hotel is old and in need of refurbishing. The towels were ratty and discolored. New towels would not have cost that much and would’ve made a huge difference. Toiletries were basic - shampoo and small soap bars. The body wash container was empty and no toothbrushes were provided. Housekeeping should do a better job because we discovered men’s underwear hanging behind one of the bathroom doors; we were all women - yuck!
Free breakfast selections were all good and the service was excellent. The staff were quiet and not annoyingly chatty around guests. HOWEVER, the night shift receptionist (a man with long hair) would go up and down the stairs at 11PM and 5AM to turn the lights on and off, with his clacking slippers making so much noise on the wooden stairs that it kept waking us up!!! How was he not aware of the noise that he was making?? We only tolerated it because we thought it was fellow guests who were making the noise, but I could no longer contain my annoyance and stepped out as soon as I was awakened again, to find out who it was. Please do something about training your staff regarding these basic, common sense courtesies to guests!

Great location, friendly staff & clean rooms. We loved our first stay here that's why we decided to book this hotel the second time around. This hotel is just a few minutes walk to the beach and offers a pleasant stay especially at night when you just want some peace and quiet.

One Crescent Place Boracay had been our home for a few days while my family was on Christmas holiday and it was great. We were impressed with how kind and accommodating the staff were. The place is clean, peaceful and was a walking distance to the beach, restaurants and the church. Truly we had an amazing time! We will definitely recommend to friends and relatives.

Went "resort hopping" during our last Boracay trip mid November 2006. We didn’t actually stay here, but since this was one of the resorts we were considering for the trip, and since it was quite near to where we stayed, we decided to might as well take a look.
The place looks great! It's a well-designed boutique hotel. The front desk staff attended us to quickly as she showed us one of the vacant rooms. We were surprised to learn that they were about 90% booked and that was the middle of the week. Most of their guests are Japanese and Koreans, we were also surprised to learn that not too many Filipinos stay there.
Maybe it’s because of the same reason we didn’t choose to stay there. It isn’t close to the beach (although their brochure says its only a 3-minute walk to the beach). It is in the area further at the back of the church in Balabag, and if you follow the road and cross the street, it’s the area around Willy's and True Home.
Then why would we consider staying there on our next trip?!
The rooms look really great! Compared to the usual airconditioned Boracay rooms, this is pure luxury. And later on I discovered it is priced really right! We were shown the Premiere room. Once you're inside the room, it doesn’t feel like you are in Boracay. I could imagine it would be fun to have a beer or cocktails at the outside area. They also have a mini, modern coffee shop. And oh, several Internet stations and videogame consoles for kids.
That same night I had a work emergency and I had to do something via email. As we were staying at a nearby beachfront resort without business facilities and I didn’t bring a laptop, the resort staff told me that there are still open Internet cafes near the D'Mall area. Since it was almost midnight, I didn’t want to rush to that area. I then remembered the courteous front desk staff of One Crescent who mentioned Internet access is open 24 hours. I called them and yes, for a fee, they allow non-guests. So I did, and for less than 30 minutes I was only charged P20.
I went back the following day to use their Internet again, and I took pictures of the place, and got a brochure. Was so surprised to see that room was P1,200 cheaper than what we were paying for a beachfront room. Then again, we paid for the beachfront thing. But if that isn’t important to you, this is a good deal. They put a great deal in doing the interiors, maybe to compensate for not having the beach right at their doorstep.
Honestly, at first look, it would definitely work for us. Would consider staying here next time.

My friend and I stayed in this resort just this month. I saw it from one website and decided to book it based on the pictures. We had everything arranged so we did not have a difficutl time looking for the resort as we were serviced from Kalibo airport.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The contemporary style sets it apart from the native cottages around it. It is truly spic and span and the room is very neat from the fabric of the beds down to the bathroom and veranda.
The hotel is not beachfront but it is easy to find because most locals know where the hotel is. It is a 2 minute walk from the beach. The location, being in the island interior makes it possible for the guests to have a truly relaxing vacation.
The service is very warm and very personalised as well. Mara the front desk officer would call us up in the morning for the wake up call and ask our breakfast orders (American or Filipino breakfast). She would call us up again to tell us that the breakfast is ready waiting for us. This is why I prefer small boutique hotels to big hotel chains.
The free w-fi in room and the free computer and internet acces, not to mention the Xbox and the many books at the lobby is definitely and add-on!!!
Staff are friendly and courteous! The hotel is very clean and very refreshing! i would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

I have been to many places around the Philippines and I must say I have learned to expect less of their hotels. I love to travel and most of the time, I go just to check out a hotel/resort. I am in my late 20's and have gone to many countries and stayed in different 4-star and above hotels. I was so impressed with One Crescent Place! The hotel is brand new and the architecture can be compared to hotels here in the United States. I originally booked at Boracay Regency but a friend said that it's not worth the $250/night you will be paying. A travel agent I found online recommended One Crescent Place because it is their new partner. Although I wanted to get a suite, we were given a standard room because the hotel was fully booked due to the time of season we went. The room was a little small but it was perfect! The bed and pillows were soft. But what impressed me the most was the bathroom. Marble floors, soft towels, and spacious! It was nothing like the other 5-star hotels we've stayed in Manila. Also, we had a patio with a rack to hang your wet swimsuits. Another best thing about this hotel is they have free internet and different video games for kids (ie XBOX, PS2, online games). The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. Even the hotel owner helped out and made us felt at home. Our room was always clean and organized. Housekeeping even neatly folded our clothes that we left laying on the bed!!! I definitely recommend this hotel!
So what's the down side? Hotel doesn't serve food except breakfast. So you basically have to go somewhere else to eat, which is not a problem because there's tons of restaurants in the area and food is pretty cheap. Another thing is this is not a beachfront hotel. It is actually located behind a church, nearby other resorts (ie Escondido) but pretty close to the beach (not even a 2-minute walk). Other than that, everything is great.
Friendly tips: Boracay is a long stretch of powdered white-sand beach with 3 boat stations. Here's some stuff to consider. Station 1 - stay here if you just want to relax on the beach and away from the busy crowd. Station 2 - if the main purpose of your trip is to party, stay in one of the hotels here. I didn't like it because it was just too busy for me and hotels didn't seem too impressive either. I only went there to eat and shop at D'Mall. Station 3 - we rode a tricycle just to check out the place and it was horrible! The hotels were crappy and ghetto! They are more like Motels or those Inns that you would see in the movies where truck drivers stay... eeeww!

We stayed in the family suite for four nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms were modern, well appointed and most importantly immaculately clean. I would know - I walked along white beach and checked out 5-6 other resorts and none of those rooms came close to passing my cleanliness standards. We were two families with four kids ranging in age from 11 months to 4 and they loved it. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs and did everything they could to make sure our stay was memorable. The management even bought cribs specifically because I had requested it when I made the reservation.
Drawbacks:
-Breakfast was just okay. There was no restaurant on the property. The staff however went out of their way to pick up food for us and deliver it to our room.
-Hotel wasn't beachfront. It's only a 2-3 minute walk which would have been fine except that we had four small children with us. We had to cross a rather busy street to get to the beach and the path leading to the hotel was quite rocky so our youngest kids kept tripping. That being said, I would recommend it over so many other properties I saw at Boracay. I will definitely stay at One Crescent Place again!

Response from armieocp, Legal Representative at One Crescent Place Hotel
Responded Nov 23, 2016
We're here to provide service to customers of the hotel. This is part of the group where they booked two rooms good for two adults in a room. Instead, seven persons stayed in one room, and three persons stayed in another. We told them that we can only accommodate registered in the voucher, otherwise they will have to pay for extra persons. They nevertheless want their own way, and not what was on the contract via the Online Travel Agency they booked their hotel. There was a case actually filed with the Online Travel Agency and with the Police Station in Boracay. One Crescent Place is to serve and protect registered guests. We will not tolerate any form of bullying and hooliganism.

First of all, my partner and I have stayed in everything from luxury beach front resorts and small, cheap backpacker rooms, and almost always been more than happy with our accommodations around Southeast Asia - if the price equals the quality and service.
THIS hotel is so extremely overpriced for what you get. Let me explain:
We paid 140 USD per night! Yes it was peak season, we know - BUT when you pay this much you expect alot and when everything is so badly managed, a bad review is the only solution.
This was the most we've ever paid for a hotel - even for beach front luxury in Thailand and Vietnam. And what do you get for all this money?
- A small, small room with a nice balcony - but no furniture, so pretty much useless.
- A leaking toilet drain, that overswam our bathroom everyday - and did not get fixed even though we asked for it.
- A mediocre at best breakfast
- When booking the office in Manila tried to rob us of 75 USD because of an exchange rate they couldn't really explain.
- We had the newly renovated top-floor rooms and apparently even the slightest noise from the staircase will enter your room and wake you up and trust me with the many all night-party-people coming home in the wee hours, they will make a lot of noise. We had a couple of sleepless nights.
- We knew the hotel was not beach front which is fine, it's a short walk, but again the PRICE, does not apply to a hotel 3 blocks from the beach.
- The staff is friendly in a "we have been trained to smile"-kinda way. But the service was so lacking. We asked for someone to pick us up and take us to the ferry. That was not arranged and the girl working in the morning had no idea. And did not take any actions to try and help.
- The same girl we kindly asked to see if she could arrange a trip to Carabao Island to get away from terribly crowed Boracay. After an hour she came back with an offer of 6000 pesos (140 USD) for a 5 hours trip including lunch. I told her that this was way too much and what the price would be without lunch. We waited another hour before she returned saying she had a different offer now at 7000 pesos!!! What? Wait: I already told you 6000 was over our budget - and you come back with a higher price. Such a waste of our time. 2 hours we waited in our room for nothing.
Well we sound like really angry, bitter people. But we're not, we enjoyed the Philippines so much, mostly our time in Bantayan Island, staying in a simple but truly personal and private spot. Devestated by the typhoon but still so worth visiting. Save your tourist money for different places around the Philippines that really need it and will be appreciate it.
Boracay has been destroyed not by the typhoon but by overdevelopment and is a terrible place if you want peace and authentic adventures.
We will never return to that island and definitely not to One Crescent Place.

Response from armieocp, Management Representative at One Crescent Place Hotel
Responded Jan 7, 2014
Dear JoSoJu, First, we are sorry you did not have a good time at all in Boracay and in the hotel. There were lots of people who though had a great time in Boracay, where the beach is one of the finest in the world, bar none. In fact, people keep on coming back year after year. It has its allure. You came in at the peak season time, so it is a bit crowded, but people still enjoyed it. Regarding the price--pricing is a bit more complicated as it has not only to balance between demand and supply but also on sustainability. In fact, we are fully booked. And people are not probably aware on how much premium is paid on properties such as in Boracay, even inland, and how we built the hotel to provide safety to guests. There are many things that you don't see that we spent on for your safety and convenience, such as very strong building foundation, the redundant water system, fire safety systems, power generation system, proper staffing, government taxes and more. We are fully booked during the peak season for a reason. We use top of the line appliances, amenities and fixtures and we take care of guests. (If prices are cheap in other places, one would wonder, why?) It's unfortunate that these things as you say should happen to you. But nevertheless, rest assured we have deliberated each point you have raised. For those we have control of, such as no furniture in Balcony, we have furniture you can put upon request. On toilet leak, it is fresh water intermittent leak, but reportedly not much. We use only fresh clean water for everything. Housekeeping has wiped it off during housekeeping, but we have our contractor fix it now after he came back from the New Year break. It's a more involved fix. For breakfast, we use only fresh ingredients, freshly prepared. We don't know how to do it any other way. There's ~ PHP 3 per USD difference in the exchange rate when you booked at the Manila office. We have corrected this as we were operating on a pegged rate of PHP 40 per USD. We now our rates dynamically float, but with a short deadline. Thank you for pointing this out. But, the bottom line is that you did not lose this USD 75. In case, we would have corrected it. Regarding noise of guests coming back from the stair case--while we are still putting more noise attenuation materials, and while we cannot put carpeted floors, it just so happened you were on over the New Year. People have merriment have a good time, and then come back a bit loud. But we will will control it. It had been a busy season, so the night shift might have not properly relayed your arrangement request for a tricycle in the morning. It would have been an easy fix, if you let the front desk help you, would not take five minutes. Our staff is also human, not perfect, but are there to assist you. For the Carabao Island trip, it's a private boat from two different contractors, pricing of which was relayed to you. We don't have control of the pricing. Again it was a busy time. It's sad you had a terrible time during your stay. Again, many other guests had a grand time in Boracay at least. It had been a bit busy, but still they had a grand time. People go back to Boracay to unwind, have a grand time. We strive to make it happen all the time. Boracay is a bit quieter during June to November, but has become a year round destination. Anyone who have try the island hopping thru this hotel?
It really is :) staff is helpful with changing the room, booking water activities, printing documents, even changing the marmelade at breakfast :))
Hello, One Crescent Place to center of D'mall is about 1.2 km or about 15 minutes' walk. You can walk by the beach, which we prefer as it is refreshing and the beach is lined up with bars and restaurants for you to choose from. By tricycle, it should be less than 10 minutes. Past D'mall, there are more bars and restaurants through Station 3.
