The Shore Time is a quaint hotel in Station 1 of Boracy. Upon first glance, it might seem fairly unimpressive. The street around the hotel is busy and underdeveloped, with construction happening. The outside sidewalk area is not great and you need to cross the street and through a restaurant to get to the beach. Those are the negatives, but the positives far outweigh them. The room is fairly quiet and very clean. The rooms are not huge, but adequately sized with a comfortable bed and bathroom area. The staff are very accommodating and quick to help guests. The beach area that's minutes away is stunning with fine, powder-like sand. It' relatively quiet and clean. There are not vendors harassing and trying to sell things to you, except an occasional boat ride. The water is clear and you can wade out very far without it getting deep. The hotel is very reasonably priced and there are many nearby restaurants and a coffee shop that's attached to the hotel. The breakfast offered is made to order with many options as well. Other than the town infrastructure that's in process, the only thing I'd recommend is improving the atmosphere of the area just in front of the restaurant of the hotel. If they keep the music softer and put some comfortable deck chairs with umbrellas for guests, it would be great. I know the space they can do this is limited by the authorities, but some improvements could be made to make it more comfortable. They also offer beach towels free of charge and a shuttle to the port for transport across to the mainland (they do charge for the shuttle). Laundry is available for very reasonable cost as well and they include a safe for valuables. The room air conditioning works well. I would stay here again.

The hotel did not disappoint. The room is clean with fresh bed sheets and the towels smells fresh. They have a coffee shop that opens 24/7 and has the best Cafe Americano ever. The hotel staff are very attentive including the two guards on duty.
The restaurant (Bama grill) is just at the beach front where you can have your meals while enjoying the view of the beautiful Boracay beach. The staff in the Bama grill are very pleasant and very responsive to guests requests.

We were given a free upgrade from Shore time hotel annex station 2 to shore time hotel station 1 because the twin room is no longer available in the annex branch. We were transfered to Station 1 Shore Time Hotel the same day we arrived. The room is big. The airconditioner worked well. WIFI is not consistent. Hot shower was not working. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Free use of beach towels. I love the welcome drinks. For the price, it was perfect. It was located near restaurants. Will stay here again next time! Highly recommended!

The best thing about Shoretime is their location. Just across the street is Station 1 - the best and clearest part of Boracay White Beach. Breakfast is at Bama Grill and though it is plated - it was very good and filling. They are also adjacent to Andoks and Kolai Mangyan for food options.
The family room is spacious and fits 5 persons comfortably. Staff is approachable and efficient.

What we did not like: Bathroom is very small. AC is not that cool. Smoke smell from the restos below fills the room. There is no shuttle to DMall - though it was advertised.

Stayed here from September 21-23, 2014. It's not a five star hotel but the service is comparable. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accomodating. When my friend and I stayed there, we wanted to buy fruit shakes from Jonah's but we didnt know if they would deliver and the staff offered to buy shakes for us. The room has a clean toilet and bath with hot and cold. The sheets are comfortable. Definitely worth the money. Its just near clubs like cocomangas, club paraw, guily's. Its near jonah's also. Will defintely recommend this place. :)

Let me start on the bad side. So we booked a room good for 5, so it was 1 queensize bed upstairs room & 1 queensize bed downstairs + extrabed and also a transfers like (shuttle van pick up from the airport, boat ride). i dont know if there was a communication problem with us or with their staff about our reservation but i made sure that when we arrived its gonna be smooth sailing. when we arrived at the Caticlan airport we were so excited i mean VERY EXCITED. until we figured that there was no Shuttle Van from the hotel picking us up (so our faces were like from happy face to Pis off face). so i called them but no one answer (by the way it was early around 7am). and i tried another number from them... so it was from their head office from manila. so they were apologizing, explaining blah blah blah. then the resort called & told us there were mus-communication from their staff that somehow forgot that there was an early pick up today which is US. but anyway so my wife almost beat me to death, then we figure just go there by ourselves. we hire a guy who will take us all the way to the resort so we ride a tri-cycle (motorcyle taxi) going to the pier. then a boat ride to Boracay Jetty port, i was surprise when mang thomas seriously go all the way with us to the resort. (i just made that name up coz i forgot what the heck is his name), anyways, then another Tri-cycle ride going to our resort. ( i could feel my Sinusitis just disappear when i started smelling the salty beach air) So when we arrived at the Shore Time Hotel (dang dang daaaannnng.... que mortal kombat music) but i just kept my cool instead just get it over with it... coz who can resist the beautiful calm beach on an early friday morning.... anyways they were apologetic and patient. they gave us fresh lime smelling towel. and gave us our room. (good thing the room was ready, they probably send away the customer on that room when they knew we were pissed, hehehe) So like i said what you see is what you get, the room was a bit small but it was nice & clean just like what you'll see on some Traveler's Photos.. but we were not there for the room or the hotel we are there for the whole island itself. what i like about Shore time is the location. for me its just right. its not actually a beach front hotel but ey, its just a 3 minutes walk to the beach. okey let me break it down for you, imagine your in a beautiful white sand beach then there is a restaurant called "Obama Grill" (which is by the way their partner restaurant) when you go inside then head outside the street, there you go, its just right infront of you, if you can read, you cant miss it. so their hotel got their own coffeeshop which they have espresso machine and i find it AWESOMEEEEE!!! and also "Andok's" lechon manok which is one of the oldest and biggest chicken rotisserie establishments in the Philippines, i think they have more than 300 outlets already?? What i like about the location of Shore Time is its not that crowded for me coz its still on station 1. a little closer to the border of station 2, which is crowded. its the hi-light of the island everybody would go there. and its not that far from us around 8 to 12 min walk. its close to everything.. if you walk 10 mins. going to station 2 there you can book for banana boat ride, para sailing. etc etc, close to good resto & bars & shops. but speaking about resto & bar i would recommend Obama Restaurant (if you booked on Shore time you have a privilege to used their beach chair) they are not bad at all they have nice selection of seafood & also wines if you wanna have a little bit of a tipsy. if you wanna get hammered just beside it, is Club Paraw bar and if you really want to get wasted try Guilly's Island bar beside it. i find the bars a little less crowded coz they are still is station 1. so all i can say about Shore time is they are a nice quaint boutique hotel but close to everything even convenient stores. whats important to us is the BEACH.. we are from Canada & very homesick so this is a nice place really, to feel relax & enjoy and just feel at home. so when we are done with our vacation Shore time had provided us a complementary ride back to Caticlan for our flight.

Everything was perfect in our staying in shore time. However, it is important to know that there are two Shore times in Boracay (the main and the anex) and none of them are truly beach front. The main one is 1min walk from the amazing white beach, has better rooms, and has the perfect location in town - between station 1 and 2.
D'mall is 10 min walk and willy's rock 3 min. The breakfast is served either in your room or in the cafe down stairs and it has everything that you will need. Staff is helpful and helped us when needed! Good experience!

Had a marvelous stay at Shoretime Hotel Annex. Hotel is very accesible since it's located at Station 2 and has a very good service of all staffs. Walls made up of PVC plastic is my only qualm since we can hear loud noises from outside and from rooms nearby.

We stayed at the Shore Time Hotel for 3D2N, and originally booked a twin pad room for the family (There were 5 of us). Checking in was pretty quick compared to luxury hotels we have stayed in the previous years (around this time of the year). We were also very pleased with the hotel upgrade to the penthouse suite. The staff is not only articulate but most of all, very accommodating, efficient, and helpful. They also respond to your emails right away. The hotel wi-fi was free and the internet connection was fast. The rooms are spacious and clean. I am extremely picky when I book hotels-I'm particular about the linens, flooring, and bathroom. Our suite (upstairs, downstairs, bathroom, veranda) was always clean and well-kept. True to another review I read here, you can "eat off the floor." If you book the penthouse suite, the veranda is also roomy and has a view of the street (Construction at the Obama Grill blocks your beach view). We used it mostly for hanging out bathing suits and clothes to dry, as well as eating our meals. We had free breakfast for three days, and you can choose between American or Filipino breakfast. Downstairs, you will also find their coffee shop and Andok's. (FYI: Andok offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner rice meals on a budget. They're known for their lechon manok). On our last night in Boracay, we had dinner at the Obama Grill just across the street from the hotel. We learned that the restaurant and the hotel have the same owner so Shore Time Hotel guests have a 10% discount on their tab at the Grill. The food was also great!

The hotel is not exactly on the oceanfront; however, you can simply cross the street and find yourself on the White Sand Beach facing the Balabag rock formation in less than 5 minutes. I chose the hotel because it is on the "quieter" and "cleaner" side of the island (and also because of its generous reviews). It is on Balabag, closer to Jonah's Milk Shakes. You can walk to D*Mall an D*Talipapa in 15 minutes, or ride the tricycle to get to these places for only PhP 10. If you're traveling as a group, the special trip is PhP 60. Ask the front desk officer for their reliable contacts to start your Boracay adventure packages.

Overall, we loved our stay, and it's worth the money you pay for.

Stayed at this place for 5 nights and i've got to admit this hotel is one of the reasons why my friends and I wish to come back to Boracay again one day. Staff was really helpful and friendly, even during late hours. We arrived around 1pm and it was really sunny, welcomed with wet face towel and ice lemon tea. Staff were really friendly and they insisted to carry our luggages. The rooms were really clean and they smelled really fresh!

Breakfast was great too, we were offered other options as my friends and I don't eat meat. The securities were really helpful!! ( especially the one who does morning shifts) he helped us every single time we needed to cross the road, every single time! We were given an option whether to have breakfast at the hotel's cafe or the cafe that faces the beach.

Internet connection is really fast whether you are in your room or lounge area. I really love how the hotel is an open space area so you dont necessarily have to be in your room when youre in the hotel compound. Housekeeping is fantastic as well! Room tends to be very clean and spotless every time my friends and i come back to the hotel! The hotel also provides beach towels which is great! (of course they also provide towels for shower in your own room) this way tourists don't have to buy or bring their own towels.

I read other reviews and most reviewers complained about the noise, I believe if you requested for a room that doesn't face the road, then it should be completely fine as I had no trouble with the room I was staying at. Everything was superb!!!!!

I asked the question earlier but no one took the time to answer. Nevertheless, here I am to answer my own query, lol! =) I decided to call the hotel directly few days before our arrival time and was told that the best place to be and closest walking distance to the Casino next to the Resort is the- Sage Building- so I decided to request to be put there for our week stay last Dec. 19th thru the 26th Dec. I simply liked the Sage since it got it's own pool and the Snack Shop and Exercise Room is right in that Building. Also, just across from the Sage is the Check in area building where there's a small gate outside which opened across the Casino for a minute walk or two. So there you are... the Sage Building is the best! JMHO =)
