Fluent in excellence. This is how I will qualify staffs of Holiday Inn, namely Estelle from Reception, Leena & Salim from Housekeeping Younav & Stephane from Restaurant, & the assistant chef Adarsh from Kitchen, who left no stones unturned to make my recent stay a wonderful & memorable one. Holiday Inn might be a 4 star hotel, but the service I received was a five star one, provided genuinely and passionately by the above 7 stars staffs, which really exceeded my expectations. These guys left a lasting impression, they are real assets for Holiday Inn. They were always happy to assist clients in every possible ways, and this can further be infered from the warmth in their tone of voice, every time they welcomed us and for food delivery. What is more, one could also notice and feel service with a genuine smile, in spite of the face mask. Guys you were ALL very nice and polite, displaying a positive attitude, exceedingly welcoming, affable & enthusiastic. Keep it up! A special word of appreciation goes to the assistant chef Adarsh. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unmatched & undivided hospitality thoughout my entire stay. Thank you for ensuring that each and everyone is having a pleasant stay. Felt at home & pampered. Thank you for also proposing alternatives where food was concerned. Thank you for placing the clients at the core Mr Adarsh. Poor value for money. Due to the covid-19 SOP the Mauritian Authorities have decided all passengers entering Mauritius will have to purchase their own accommodation at a designated hotels for a mandatory 14 days quarantine. The value of money is unacceptable, the designated hotel (Holiday Inn Mauritius) is under huge pressure to stick to the regulations without infringing on their guests stay but they've gotten it badly wrong here. Hair have been found thrice in the main course and afternoon snacks. Linens have not been changed frequently, no disposable gloves and disposable aprons have been used by the service personnel to deliver food. Moreover, there was no management available for a discussion on issues encountered and to improve the service. Therefore, my 14 days stay were more than enough for me to conclude that the leadership here is definitely in a critical state! However, if the management ever take this posting with somewhat concerned, you ought to start from the very basic reviewing your operations SOP (IF YOU HAVE ONE), my candid advice only! Well, I will not recommend this hotel to any of my family members, friends as well as colleagues.

Dear Madam, Thank you for your candid comments and advice that have caught our attention. They are all the more valuable coming from an experienced person of the hospitality industry. Please find below the elements of answers. • Your quarantine was carried out during the period from December 14th to 28th in Room 148. • To be more precise, this quarantine comprised of 64 persons, including hotel staffs, Ministry of Health staff and guests. • You informed our manager the first time you found a hair in your dish; immediately after mentioning it, our manager spoke with you to apologize. You were offered several commercial gestures which you refused, nevertheless "coconut water" was offered to you in accordance with your request. You also appreciated the efforts of our teams. • The same incident happened again the following days, same reaction of our team. We would simply like to point out to you the surprise and shock of our team who had scrupulously inspected your food after the first incident before sending it to your room. • As stipulated in our welcome letter upon arrival and in accordance with the Ministry's protocol, 3 sets of bed sheets and towels are at your disposal, these being provided at your request. You made the request on 19/12 and 25/12, thus defining your own request. • As stipulated again in our welcome letter, the contact number of the Manager on duty is at your disposal for any problem encountered during your stay. • Moreover, it is an extraordinary coincidence that out of 64 people present during this quarantine, you were the one and only to have found hair in his dish three times in a row - a coincidence and probability that is difficult to understand for the same room. • You asked the same person to serve you during your quarantine, we did our utmost to satisfy you by accepting your request. • Nevertheless, all our staff who served your meals in your room were equipped according to the protocol established by the Ministry of Health. For your information, gloves and aprons are not mandatory during the service subject to hand disinfection. • The Ministry of Health staffs stay in hotels during the quarantine period and ensure that all sanitary protocols are being respected. • All of our clients appreciated their stays during this quarantine period. The comments left on the last day in the room confirm the quality of our service with 92% of satisfied clients; the remaining 8% did not answer (unless we made a mistake, you are one of them). My recent quarantine stay at Holiday Inn Mauritius Mon Tresor was absolutely superb, the management and the team here didn't give me a single chance to complaint and made sure i was properly taken good care of in all sort of way. (am 200% sure all customers receives the same treatment) I would highly recommend anyone travelling to Mauritius to book their quarantine stay here. From my point of view the rate they are offering for the two weeks stay are affordable and believe me their hospitality is ON POINT! The room i was put in was a basic double room, but was most comfortable, super cleaned, nicely decorated and covered all needs. We are offered 4 proper meals per day with drinks and deserts and our temperature are taken twice daily. I would like to say a big THANK YOU TO Nitish(manager), Akshay, Miha, Adarsh and Mousamile. Thank you and big respect for taking great care of me and all the others!

I would like express my wholehearted appreciation for the care and professional attention the team of Holiday Inn has provided my mother and myself during this quarantine period. I sincerely believe that we would not have made it through those challenging times without their patience,devotion and encouraging words. We recently moved to Mauritius, therefore we had to confine 2 weeks in a hotel room before we can start our lives here. sure we did not get to experience the real hotel services because we were basically locked in a room. Food was provided by a catering company and we cleaned our room on our own. but overall, I can tell that the hotel is very new, the bed is comfortable, and the room is spacious enough. The water pressure in the shower was good as well.
