I trully enjoy my stay at San Remgio Beach Club together with my friends, It was a spectacular adventure, we did their team building activities, tower activities and the dinner at the beach is a must if you stay there, super love the fire dance and all the band performers were superb.
Great place for a quiet stay. Food was affordable, with good portions and delicious. There is a pool available for kids and adults alike. The resort also has a view of the sea. The service and hospitality of the staff were exceptional, we really enjoyed the simplicity of the place.
Breakfast will just be egg & ham everyday for your 4,300 room rate. Few menu options. No emergency light where this is a requirement from BFP???? Parking area very dark at night. Slow water from the shower. Staff needs customer service training. Do not expect for a clear sea water, its shallow & muddy not ideal for swimming.
Paid over 6k pesos to book executive rooms for 6 people only to get there and be given an executive suite good for 4 people. Mind you the place is full of mosquitoes, insects and rats. We got “upgraded” to a family room which is technically a cheaper version of the room we paid for with prison like toilets that are so cramped you cant sit people on the toilet. The grouts are gross and look like they havent been cleaned. The website says that there are a lot of activities yet majority are cancelled during the stay time (worse as it was a weekend). The swimming pool has leaves and insects floating Around with no staff even cleaning it casually to get the leaves out. The bathrooms also dont have mats to dry your feet on or hand towels. The wifi is only available near reception and up to the pool and in the cafe. It does not reach the bedrooms at all. At he cafe when we ordered a mango shake we were given halo halo and when we asked the waiter if the halo halo was mango shake they said it was when clearly it wasn’t. Cafe was also very hot and stuffy and you HAVE to request for a fan to cool yourself down or else they wont even proivde it to you. The place is very expensive for something so dodgy and falsely advertised online. Wouldnt even recommend at all. …
The be clear, we did not use the lodging facilities, but did check out the DELUXE ROOM, facing the beach. Looked o.k., plenty of space, but old fashioned shower room. No chairs or table on the patio. Relaxing at beach site was very nice and we received good service. Pool was clean and very large and the beach is good, swimming in sea only at high tide. On second visit we used the restaurant as well. Good menu choices, pasta and appetizer were good, the baby back ribs were not that good. Small portions. Nice dining facilities with linen napkins! Cleanest C.R. we have seen in a long time. Menu prices were mid-range, but the room rates are too high for what is offered.
At first i was really hesitant to book on the hotel due to feedback i read , but when me and my friend decided last week to take our week end ..we are amazed with the way the staff (specially housekeeping) welcome and assist us . the room clean and smell fresh, the food at cafe gloria and the waiter are very good , plus the amazing sunset , its so romantic ..it open my nega heart again .the place is very relaxing .
Ive heard a lot about this resort so I was naturally pumped days before my actual visit. Im a huge fan of San Remigio; my family travels to SR yearly to unwind. What I liked about the resort is that it's simple and laid back. What I didnt like about it is that it's simple and laid back. My expectations apparently were too high and I admit that it's my fault. I thought I'd be seeing a Bluewaters or a BE Resorts at least. What I saw was something else. I'd still come back for the pool with friends. But wont be returning when with family and loves ones.
I am so disappointed with our stay in the San Remigio Beach Resort last week 25th- 26th June 2016 due to the following issues. First, When we reach the reception area "Mosquitoes" are so visible and very scary as I can feel our health is at risk in this area. It is not excuse the since the place is far away and located near some forest then it is natural to have some mosquitoes. There are already so many ways and can use strong chemicals that can kill these mosquitoes. Health is the number one you should consider for guess to enjoy our stay. If some of my family members will get sick of dengue I will you responsible on it. Second: When we reach the place and go to the receptionist I informed that I have booking under Mydel Lim. But unfortunately they are not able to find my booking. So what I did I need to dig out my email just to see my booking reference number. It is not convinient for guess to do all these thing, we are in 20th century today by right you should be sync with online booking systems like Agoda.com. She try calling someone over the phone to check our booking under my reservation but still can not find. How is it possible? And also, you got internet and computer in the reception but its too difficult for the receptionist to help solve this booking problem. We get stuck in the reception for almost 1 hr just to get the room. The only booking that was fast retrieve is the one I book / reserve manually over the phone and which is the "Dormitory Room" Third: Now after the booking is settled, we proceed now to our rooms. (dormitory room and deluxe room) When we go inside the dormitory room, the mosquitoes welcome us. Same with the deluxe room. All rooms are full of mosquitoes. - dormitory room 1. The basic need like rag for feet is not provided, No kettle , no drinking container ,no glass , the floor is dirty. Looks like they never prepare the room for guess to come. At least the basic things should be there. 2. The aircon is not sufficient enough for the room. The size of the aircon looks correct, but i think too old that is why the cooling capacity is not there. 3. We complain already as soon as we enter the room that there is alot of mosquito, but no maintenance offer any Baygon to spray. So I need to call the maintenace for this. 4. When the night time comes, the area is too dark, i feel not safe for us to walk outside. Only the one near our room that the light was on. then the remaining isles / hallway are totaly off. Too much conserving of electric which become hassle or not comfortable to the guess. - deluxe room 1. No rag is inside the toilet, no hand towel, no face towel. Why is this not provided? Does it mean all the time the toilet is dry and no need to use? Basic needs should be provided. The rate of the room is not cheap for us not to have these things provided. 2. The cabinet is so dirty, no maintenance. I suspect because they are not prepared that there is online booking for that day. 3. The room has alot of mosquitoes. Can see not just one mosquito, but alot more. 4. Half way thru I have shower it got brown out / power interruption, so the tank was left empty and no even back up. Do you think this one will make the guess happy? 5. After the generator and water was successfully ready when taking shower again, the shower only come out air with less water. This is so ridiculus.. Once again we complain and ask for assistance. Now they transfer us to the Executive Suite due to the water problem. So inside the executive room, still the same, water pressure is not there, although there is water but you almost kiss the wall just to have the water pour to your body. Or the worst is you need to manually took the shower cap and directly touch it to your body for the water to come out. Executive Suite - Again no basic needs. same with other rooms. - still have mosquitoes. - there is TV but almost can not see any picture or movie because the signal too low. - the boiler / kettle for water got water inside, so meaning it was not cleaned before after the last guess on that room. No hygiene. Pumpboat - also for this facility, it needs 2 days advance to book if you want to use the facility. Its impossible for this kind of setup. Now, after complaining all this things to your operation manager in charge, all she can say is sorry! Sorry is not the answer as we are guess in your resort. Inorder for us to be compensated, she give us 1 hr KTV, but when we go there in the KTV room , there was no aircon as it is spoil and it is not cooling that makes the room so stuffy. To conclude all this, I want to demand for compensation for my stay as I totally so disappointed and feel wasted of the money I spent there. I feel ashame to my visitors and family which I bring along with me. The reviews i read online looks convincing that is why is choose the resort but the actual is not the one i expect. Also you Operations manager assigned there can not decide on what is best for the guess or for the resort. I feel the resort is almost like closing down because no maintenance. I thought I will be relax and enjoying there but it is the other way around. If I could give a comment on the reviews, no words can explain how unsatisfied I am there. this place was horrible. staff rude unclean facilities and charge ridiculous prices with no comps for bad service. videokee 680 peso for two hours in bug invested cottage. 480peso breakfast 4 2 = 3 pieces of toast 2 black bananas, 1 cup rice, 6 small cold sausage from can, 2 eggs not fit for human consumption which took 45 min to be served when complained staff rude. they even charge for basketball by the hour even if u bring your own balls. pool has dirt and full of leaves and not maintained, took 30min to check out due to incompetence, skip this place if u can avoid it
Pros: They offer free pick up and drop off from and to Hagnaya Port. The only reason we stayed here was because we got stranded, like most people who end up staying here for a night or two. Their restaurant is spacious, pool is quite big, with beds you can cartwheel on. Rooms were reasonably clean. Having an aviary is cute, but cruel, if you ask me. Cons: No beach. Water is even dirty here despite the fact that they have nets around the abomination they've created on the beach. Horrid. This my friends, is one reason why you should never scrimp on getting a good architect and designer when investing on a property as big as this. It goes a looong way. I wish they could just take inspiration from the beautiful mangrove forests nearby. Why can't they ask the local government to help them fix that ghastly road leading to their resort?…
