On our way back home from south of Spain, we booked Mas Carreras. The renovated farmhouse is lovely and the rooms well done. Well equiped with good bathroom, airco and TV. The garden and pool are just perfect. You can see the love and attention put into the care of the trees and flowers. The pool is lightly salty but lovely refreshing. We enjoyed a few hours on the sunbeds. Although Mas Carreras offers dinner, we were so close to Girona with all its great restaurants, so we did not opt for that. The breakfast was great however, so I can imagine how the dinner can be. Great place. We’ll be back there. Highly recommended!!

Almost everything is perfect: very clean, well entertained, relaxing atmosphere, extremely friendly and helpful people. We loved the beautiful garden with its pool in particular. There’s one thing however and it matters: the traffic noise. The first morning at 5:45 a.m. my daughter suddenly awoke, asking me: “Daddy, what’s that? I’m afraid.” It was the noise of a lorry passing behind the building. We had one of the two “Deluxe Double Rooms” which aren’t in the main building but in an outbuilding next to the entry. There is a road adjacent, directly behind, not an inch of space between the road and the wall of our room. It sounds as if the cars rush through your room, lorries and tractors in particular creating an incredible noise. There is not much traffic, but it is more than sufficient to wake you up before 6 and to keep you awake from then onwards. If you don’t hear the road, you hear your neighbors. There seems to be no noise insulation between the two “Deluxe Double Rooms” in the outbuilding. We have no problems with noise when we do camping. But with a room at 240€ per night, well. Two little things: Most of the time wifi didn’t work or was so slow that we had to use 3G or 4G. There is no minibar or fridge in the room.…

I booked this hotel on booking.com and arrived at the property at night so it was dark already while driving I was asking myself: where the hell am I? (It was also raining) And well.... after arriving at the hotel I found out that I was in Heaven! This place is marvellous! The lady at the reception was really super super nice and before taking us to our room she gave us a tour of the facility. Ah, and she upgraded us to a higher category, so, thank you! The room was beautiful, rustic chic, comfortable, quiet, we loved every aspect of it. In the morning we had breakfast and it was really good. Lots of nice things and nice atmosphere. Unfortunatly it was raining the next day as well but we had a walk outside anyway, and the garden is spectacular. I am sure in the spring or summer it must be wonderful. The lady at the reception also helped us to find a nice restaurant for dinner (which turned out to be super good!) If in the area I will for sure go back to this beautiful hotel! Great job!…

Just driving through the area, we found this on hotels.com. Off the main road about 15-20 minutes from Girona. Lovely renovated old farmhouse, now an upscale hotel. Since it was coming up to New Year's, no restaurants in the vicinity were open, but driving to Girona was ok. Breakfast was excellent with lovely fresh bread, fruit, cereal, cheese & ham! Located in a really nice area close to the Costa Brava. Very nice lady at the front desk, too!

You will feel like you are in your own house. Clean, quiet and confortable rooms (at least a 4*). Staff is very nice and if you get to know the owners, even better!!!Swimming pool, massage area, meeting rooms a large covered saloon that would be perfect for wedding cellebrations...11 different rooms that will be more in the near future. Highly recommended!!!!
