A place to disconnect to the world and reconnect with those who matter! The 1500 pesos villa is amazing deal complete with marble bathroom... Food is very cheap! Tapsi for 65 pesos serve in your balcony? Or lapu lapu for 70? How about your pancit for 70 as well? Ask your meal to be serve in your veranda..

This place is quite, with relaxing view. You ca see the stunning mountain of Mt.Guiting-Guiting while on the other side is the sea view. They are some animals here like monkeys, talking bird, nice dogs.

It really is a sanctuary for tired mind, body and yes even soul. It will surely relax your mind because of the greeneries that surrounds you, it will soothe every aching part of your body as you breath the freshest air, and it will provide you the golden time to heal your soul because of the serene ambiance that makes you want to shut your mind & mouth and just meditate. The rooms are ok, simple. With tv but no wifi in rooms just on the resto. The restaurant is very good. The food we tried we're all delicious! Will surely be back.

The resort is excellent and the owner, Edgar, is a great host. For the price this is one of the top resorts in the Philippines. The resort is not on the beach and Sibuyan does not really have any good beaches, but the resort has a wonderful river swimming spot. Sibuyan is a remote island and can be really difficult to get to. Traveling there is not suitable for rolling bags, backpacks are a must. When we went there, taking the pump boat from Romblon, that boat was broken and a reserve boat could not go all the way because of the waves. We got dumped on an extremely remote beach, wading to get ashore. If Edgar had not figured out that this was going on, we would have been stuck. That in itself may not be a big deal but after a long trip on buses and boats an issue like this can

I love this hotel. It is the best place we stayed in during our travels in the Philippines. Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. Divine garden to explore and stroll around. A natural swimming hole big enough for a good swim and deep enough to jump in. Great value restaurant with plenty of choice. Wonderful and great value in-room massages. Super friendly and helpful staff. I can't recommend Sanctuary Garden highly enough. It's lovingly looked after and the owners and staff have got it all so right. Everything a traveller could possibly want for a retreat on Sibuyan Island.

We stayed here recently for 3 nights in our own cottage room with fan for 600 pesos a night. Absolutely awesome room with marble bathroom and we'll worth the money. We met so many people in Romblon who recommended this place to us and it was definitely worth it. We also met Edgar (the partner/owner) in Romblon and unbeknownst to us, he actually organised a tricycle to pick us up from the port when our boat arrived in Sibuyan from Romblon. The resort is truly beautiful and has a river very close by that was clean and we swam in a couple of times. We also hired bicycles from the resort one day to ride the 8km to Lambingan falls. It was great to ride through the many small villages on the way to the falls although the roads is not paved all the way, enough said... The food was good

I heard about his place from some other travelers and it exceeded all my expectations. The buildings are made of beautiful hardwood and blend perfectly into the lovely garden setting. Even the fan room with shared bathroom had fine hardwood furnishings and an elegant marble bathroom, all maintained spotlessly clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful, even though the owners were away at the time when we visited. They have lots of suggestions for places to visit and things to do with helpful maps and guidelines. We really enjoyed the Lambingan and Cataja falls, and although we are not climbers we had a wonderful walk to the river through the National park Area, though I suggest that if you want to do this, try to contact the Park office in advance (by cell phone?)as when we

This place feels like a home away from home. The place is amazing! They build the structures to blend in with the surroundings. It's absolutely peaceful, there are so many spots here with jaw-dropping beauty. There's a dam nearby with a perfect view of Mt. Guiting-Guiting come sunset, when you row a bit. The staff in Sanctuary will treat you like family. I love this place! Been here several times for work the past 2 years. The rooms are very clean, and they have a few rooms with water heaters. I've pretty much tried almost every kind of room they have, and no matter what price the room is, they keep it clean. I definitely recommend Sanctuary Garden Resort if you'll be going to Sibuyan Island.

Sanctuary Garden Resort is nestled between a small mountain and a river. This makes it very ideal for people who love nature. Being used to staying in the beach, we didn't know what to expect going to Sibuyan Island but we were amazed with the diverse nature places that the islands offer. The rooms were very basic but were adequate. However, service could be improved better if they would offer to change sheets and towels daily (stayed here for 3 nights). I guess if we requested, they would've done it anyway. One other thing was the bathroom drain, which they said was really slow for all the rooms. Maybe management can look into this as well. What was nice about the resort though was that the staff were friendly, accessibility to hiking and swimming in the river nearby (which we

From the minute we arrived here we loved this place. We stayed in a beautiful bungalow on top of the hill which was not only spotlessly clean but also offered a terrific view across the jungle to Mount Guiting-Guiting. The resort's garden is extremely well kept and you feel the effort the staff puts into this area everywhere. Everyone was super friendly and helped us organizing our climb as well as our further travels. There are no other dining options around but it doesn't matter, since the restaurant serves a moderate choice of food. The Sanctuary Garden is a wonderfully peaceful and well-kept place and we would definitely stay there again.
