This is not one of the nicer resorts on that side of Bantayan Island, but the restaurant serves good food and the staff was ver accomodating. It is as close to beach as any along that strip and a short walk or trike trip to the Ferry pier.

Travelled to Sta Fe with hubby and 10 other family members after Christmas. We were picked up from the port by their shuttle which was great and appreciated. We were however disappointed by some (mostly aesthetic) issues which really was not a huge deal, but we think is still important to address. 1) The short road taking you to the hotel was very rough (needs to be paved, especially if you are taking a tricycle, it can be very uncomfortable). 2) You arrive at the property, in front of a very worn out looking gate, then you walk a short distance to the hotel, but was greeted by a not so welcoming sight of junk car(s) on the back of this old house (not sure if house was abandoned. Removing that pile of junk would help to welcome guests to a better sight. 3) Hubby and I were in a cottage closer to the water, and it was nice, but very outdated, and could use a bit of tlc, especially the bathroom. The other cottages were fine however. These are not huge, and could easily be addressed. On a good note, staff were very friendly and helpful which was a plus. Overall, we had a good stay, and had fun even when the weather was not fully cooperating. The beach was littered with seaweeds and trash, washed out to the beach due to the weather (totally something that hotel can control). I tried loading photos, but for whatever reason, site wouldn’t let me.

Overall great An effort to serve Breakfast options that aren't highly processed. Filipino classics done right their Tapa, chorizo patty, crispy danggit labtingaw were so good with sufficient serving sizes. The snacks options are well thought of from filipino to western. The corned beef steak was really good! The rooms were modern and clean. The location is near port and aesthetic vibe is instagrammable especially the renovated sections.

So this is a great place to stay and a excellent location. The rooms are nice though looking a little tired which s fine as you are not paying much to stay here, the bathrooms do tend to get a little smelly but this was after heavy rain so may be nothing they can do. We had two family rooms and we were all very happy (5 of us in total). The food it really really good, all the meals were excellent and the scallops are a must, as well as the halo halo, the Bar there is nice and some great drinks before you head out to town is a nice way to start the evening. Plenty of room and seating on the beach though the wooden beach lounges are old and not that comfortable, the sea is very shallow and safe as well with little current and you can go for some lovely walks and watch the fisherman land their catch in the morning. Also there is hot and cold drinking water available 24/7 from the self service water in the reception area. Would highly recommend this place, would happily stay again in the future

the room was super nice and clean, the view was great and the resort itself had a wonderful aesthetic BUT i saw a vlog that the family room had a mini fridge and air purifier which I didn’t find in our room. Also, the staff was far from friendly, lol! They did attend to our needs but their faces would tell otherwise. We had to order breakfast at 5AM and asked us when would we like our orders to be served, we said as early as possible since we had a whole itinerary ahead of us , the earliest possible was at 7 in the morning which is totally fine but was served 30 mins after 7 & my sister tried to tell them and they respond in a very annoyed manner, lol! Anyways, maybe ya’ll gonna have a different and better experience.

We were coming from another resort nearby that had the worst customer service ever (Anika). It was such a breath of fresh air when we came here with very friendly, attentive and accommodating staff, they even bring your food/order to the beachfront while you laze around. The sandy, white, wide beachfront with clear waters is to die for. They also have ready contacts of motorcyles for rent as well as massage therapists. All you need to do is ask and they will be more than willing to help. Keep up the good work!

santa fe beach club has this special vibe. i just can't pinpoint what it is. perhaps it's the enchantment brought about by its mini-cave within the property grounds. or the rich flora surrounding the place. or the tidiness of the area. maybe it's the warmth of the staff even though you're just there to do some sight-seeing and have no intentions to check in. this private resort has a lot to offer to its paying guests. when given another chance, i would maximise my stay and spend a couple of nights next time.

A stunning beach resort with lovely clean cabins right on the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the scenery is breathtaking. I can recommend the coconuts which are collected fresh of the tree for you by some of the local young boys. They are delicious and so cooling and refreshing on a very hot day. The trees where they get them are literally right outside of your cabin on the beach. Amazing to see these young lads scampering up and down the trees getting coconuts to sell to us -the tourists and visitors just for a few Pesos too!! The local people are so friendly and helpful too. It really is an ideal place just to rest, relax and unwind for a few days or even a week or two. The trips out to the other nearby islands are well recommended too-remember to bring a hat and plenty of sun screen lotion too , as it does get very very hot during the day!!! Also a wonderful place just to sit on the beach in the cool of the evening drinking a nice chilled beer and chatting with friends too!!!

Me and my partner were looking for a pristine white sand beach away from the crowds and came accross Bantayan and Santa Fe Beach Club. Please be aware if you are planning to come anytime soon to the island it doesn't look anything like paradise. After our arrival (plane,3.5h journey from Cebu by bus, a boat and a tuk tuk) we were welcomed in a very bizarre manner. The first impression would surprise everyone as the pictures we have seen online are very misleading. The beach although cleaned daily it had plenty of seaweed on it plus the water is not clear enough to go for a swim (fine if you are used to seaweed). The port is very close and shame all the pictures posted don't really show how close, as it changes completely the view (I'm attaching some recent photos) We decided to go for a walk in search of some better beaches.. to the left and right of the hotel don't venture too far as you won't find anything pretty (more seaweed, coconut shells and rubbish) btw Anika Resort we considered staying in is very close and the beach looks exactly the same. The only nice stretch of white sand and blue water is on Paradise Beach (20min walk or around 8min (40pesos) tuk tuk ride. Saying that last two days the beach had lots of seaweed on but I'm hoping it's only after the typhoon. The review of "Beach Club" it's based on the days before the typhoon btw although we did spend a night in the hotel during "Ursula" and luckily enough (getting through the door rain water, the structure was safe enough and there was no damage). More about the hotel itself.. From what we heard it has been renovated recently after a previous typhoon and it's true the room we stayed in looked new. Beds and mattresses are covered in plastic seal and after complaining to my partner about the quality of my sleep I now understand the reason why they are covered..humidity! Nothing will dry there. I washed my bikini and after 3days of hanging inside and outside it was still dump and smelly. Air con works perfectly fine and there is also hot water:) There was a power cut during the storm but their generator kicked in very quickly. Unfortunately wi-fo was only available in the reception/restaurant area and that's only until the storm came. No internet afterwards. We had to go to town each time to connect. Rooms are being cleaned on request, so make sure you ask them to clean it ( a bit surprising). We have had breakfast there once and can't really say much about it, very basic. There no fridge nor kettle in the room. To summarise it we would not come to the Bantayan again but even so the hotel facilities although poorly rated as overall by us were probably one of the best in the area. The only hotel we would consider is probably Kota Beach Hotel due to it's location. And if you decide to come anyway Tika Bar/ Restaurant it's a winner for delicious food.
