We visited as an outside guest for the famous cave. The cave is ok-ish for 5 or 10 minutes max. Quite small overall and not suitable for standing up right in the water, let alone swimming. The pool is a mess; full of dirt, sand and even saw a kid defacting in it. The lifeguard acts like a gestappo agent for not allowing shorts nor shirts. That rule seemed random as well. 10 Minutes later people were allowed with shirts again.. The beach is non excisiting; poured concreted staircase up unto a stone base near the water. It takes at least 50 meters to get even knee deep. The small stretch (~ 10 meter ?) of beach is full of dirt as well. The no pet policy is also a joke with constantly 5 stray dogs roaming around. The 225php entry is far overpriced for the non-quality and non-quantity of entertainment offered. For some reason there are a million of signs, in Filipino, Korean and Japanese, but barely in English.

Nice views nice rooms ! Older place badly needs management . Terrible food ! Pools are filthy ! Lots of stray dogs and cats . Does not have a beach as such just a rocky foreshore ! No wifi none it’s pretty much useless . Lots of truck tyres lying around after being used as moorings then discarded . Pool staff were asleep for my visit and I do mean asleep lol. Could be nice resort with management but as it is save your money and shop around . Like all of Bantayan island ‘set your expectations realy low and you will be a little less disappointed

Very very disappointed with the resort’s service. Me and my family visited around 10:30am for lunch and they made us wait util an hour but still didn’t serve our lunch. We tried to follow up our orders and not even a single waiter entertained us nor had they inform us that the food will be served late. The second time we asked for our orders, it still wasn’t complete which lead us to leave the place. More than one hour of waiting for food is ABSURD! VERY BAD AND DISAPPOINTING SERVICE. Staff aren’t trained to inform if the food will be served late. Even so, customer service is not good as they are not trained well enough to deal with people. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Ogtong resort is showing is unfortunately showing it's age, with the general upkeep of the property subpar. Resort was generally quiet, when we visited, which is a plus. Breakfast and lunch choices quite limited, but taste reasonably ok. Swimming pool was refreshing. Beach swimming not really an option.

a.k.a. santa fe beach club, this wonder is a sight to behold. as the main feature of the resort, ogtong is a small cavern with a natural freshwater turquoise blue pool. it can only accommodate up to 10 people at one time this time of pandemic. there's no additional fee to dip here when you're a certified hotel guest. swimming is until 4 pm only. ogtong has a magical touch. it's surrounded by a rich flora that makes the place cool and untouched by pollution. if given more time, i would definitely explore every nook and cranny of the resort.

I would give the accommodations a 2 and the grounds of the resort a 5. It's the equivalent of a low rent motel built on a Ritz Carlton property. The Rooms: they're badly in need of an upgrade and new furnishings. The furniture is old and worn and new linens and towels look dirty when they arrive. The rooms are very, very basic and are just a place to sleep. They do **not** provide beach towels! I'm glad I brought my own. There is no wifi in the rooms and the guest "wifi" at the front desk is slower than logging into Prodigy over dial-up back in 1993. The Cave: it's a cool experience; however, the resort sells day passes to non-guests. They take over the cave for most of the day and it's so crowded that paying guests may have trouble getting in there. Go to the cave early in the day to have a more pleasant experience. The Grounds: absolutely beautiful. I had a sweeping view of the sea and could see the sunrise from my porch. There's soft green grass and flowering trees all over, and the beach is steps away. Don't believe the other reviewers that say the beach is rocky, it is not. Just watch out for shells, small rocks, and sea life if you walk on the beach at low tide. They also have a pool reserved for paying guests, which is good since the main pool is overflowing with non-guests that bought day passes. The Restaurant: the menu is very limited and the service is extremely slow (even by Filipino standards). Their breakfast menu is almost non-existent. Eat here if you're starving and don't feel like going for a walk to find a better restaurant. The Jelly resort is a 15 minute walk down the beach. The menu has a lot more to offer, the service is great, and the prices are low. Overall, it's just ok. I don't know of any better places to stay in the area. Know up front that the rooms aren't great and they are just a place to sleep.

A resort that boasts the Ogtong Cave - a natural wonder on Bantayan Island. The cave's water is cool and turquoise clear and clean. But this place is not recommended for swimming since the water is shallow. Still, it is a good place to chill and relax. The entrance fee of the resort is around Php 250 when we went there around September 2019.

I dont understand the need of the people to talk. Specially in a cave. The silence in the cave is something beautiful, and activates the other sences. They should tell the clients to be quiet inside. After a while we could be alone and we could hear the bats, see the reflections of the cave and water and see the shrimps coming out. I don't know what biologist would say about the protection of bats in caves. During the day they should be sleeping but the noise was waking them up and the light inside might not be good too. Anyways, I think they should tell the tourist to be quiet and also provide some information about the bats.
