Close to beach nice clean place. Close to the Center of Santa Fe. Sainte Fe is nicer then Bantayan itself close to the port and safe night life. Recommend street foods not the expensive restaurants in downtown.
Lovely beach , good food, excellent staff. Dont expect too much about the rooms. It is as basic as it gets. If you are the "nitpicker" type, PLEASE DO NOT STAY here. You will be definitely in heaven here. This is a resort with a nice personality. They try their best to please guests.
We had a great time in Sunday Flower. Super frienly personell and great location. The room was great but a bit smelly...of mold. We stayed a day longer as we couldn't go back :) Food is simple yet great. Ambience is fabolous.
I love the Sunday Flower! I’ve stayed here many many times, and will return again as soon as possible. The rooms are comfortable and cool, and the Wi-Fi is reliable and fast. The setting is beautiful, and the food and coffee are delicious! Carmela is one of my favorite people, and she will take great care of you! Truly relaxing, and just a stones throw from the ocean!
I came for a week but could have stayed longer, staff very helpful, and bend over backwards to help you, even cooking if required.Fresh juices lovely beach, what more could one want. Some beautiful shells wash up on the beach with bits of coral.
Stayed here for nearly a week In the seaview cottage Perfect On the beach Good air conditioning, but TV, lovely staff, reasonable breakfast, clean rooms, include towels. Just cold showers but fine for the warm weather here ! Beautiful beautiful beach, nice swimming and sand ! Locals around and lots of karaoke in the area. Especially on the weekend Can’t recommend enough
My friends and I simply wanted a room where we could sleep and leave our bags while we explored Bantayan, and Sunday Flower delivered. It takes a few minutes' walk to get to the beach, but it wasn't a big deal. You also get to see a lot of people because there were other cottage-style accommodations in the same area and the atmosphere was quite noisy but very upbeat. Tip: Wake up super early in the morning and hang out on the beach so you can meet some ladies selling fresh, boiled scallops. You can get three largish plastic bags of the stuff for only 100 pesos. They were delicious!
We stayed here after spending several days at a much more expensive resort. Overall we preferred our stay at Sunday Flower. The other place had nicer rooms for sure. But I didn't travel all this way to sit in my room. I came all this way to explore PH. To be immersed. The other place was a bit sterile and could have been and generic country club in the world. At Sunday Flower there was an energy that we preferred. People laughing and talking. Vendors hawking their goods. People singing karaoke. Baby's doing what they do. Life. We really enjoyed the staff. They joked with us and were friendly and made us feel welcome. The other place was just blank "Yes, Ma'am, No Sir" replies. Sunday flower hooked us up with an affordable tour of the main tourist spots and later rented us an affordable scooter to explore more on our own. The food was delicious (better than the expensive resort and a better selection. The other resort was always out of things like chicken). If you want to feel like the last person on earth then maybe look elsewhere but if you are here to experience the Philippines and be immersed in the culture then I think you will love Sunday Flower. This is where we will stay next time we visit.…
I stayed here 2 years ago and the room its self is maybe the best value in Santa FE.I liked the size and some view from the 2nd floor. The only down side is that its not exactly water front but thats ok and its far from the main village and the road to get their is lined with people on the street with their children running across the street. Its 100% one of the better vaules and worth a look at
We booked their apartment (good for 6 pax) last March 2017 but since our friends cancelled several weeks before our expected travel, we had to downgrade our accommodation to a room that's good for 3. We were told that we will have a room near the beach, much to our delight. Price and Room: We got an aircon room for P1,800 with no breakfast. I guess, most resorts here, except for the big ones, do not offer free breakfast. It has 2 double beds with very thin blanket despite the presence of an airconditioning unit. It has a small table, a tv that does not work. It has hot and cold shower. The space is quite small for 2 beds and the table. It has a washing area at the back which is a plus point. Location: Though it is near the beach, it is not fronting the beach. You have to walk for 50 meters in between rooms/cottages to reach the beach area. They tried to maximize the space that they built several rooms with only 2 meters walkway. And the beach area is packed with fishing boats. It is also not near from the town proper and riding a tricycle would cost you 15/pax. Though most tourists rent a bike or a motorcycle to go around, we decided not to rent on our first day since it was already 3pm when we arrived at the resort. So if you want to be near the restaurants and bars, this place is not for you. Service: We have asked them several times about the television but we were told that they already called the technician. However, on our last day (we cut short our stay here and looked for another resort instead), we were informed that the tv does not function anymore because it was damaged by typhoon Yolanda. It would have been better if they just removed it instead of putting it there with no use at all. Pros: I appreciated the discount that they gave us for our room ( its 2,500 according to them but they gave it to us for only 1,800) but if in case the room really costs 2,500, that is way too overpriced. …
