The room we stayed in was unbearably hot as the heating was on full and we were unable to amend it. This was made significantly worse by the plastic sheets on the beds. The beds were without a doubt the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in, like sleeping on a rock. There was only one working plug socket and it was in the bathroom. There was also no hot water, so we were unable to shower. Dinner was mixed, the starter was mediocre at best but the main of steak and chips was lovely. The "continental" breakfast consisted of one slice of toast with either jam or meat paste. The hotel also came with a dog, which when we went for an evening walk, tried to attack us. All in all, not a pleasant stay. We would not return.

The town is not a big place but quite clean and friendly. The hotel have nice bedrooms but the beds not big. The lounge area and breakfast area are also big and nice. Good breakfast. The value you spend to sleep having breakfast included it is really good value.

The hotel room is very nice and clean and you can hang your washing out on the owners washing line. The food is not wonderful. The pudding arrived before I had finished the main course. Better to have the breakfast as the packed lunch.

This place is very large, has clean rooms, a good restaurant and helpful staff. And it allows pets. It is a very good price for a room including breakfast and the parking was free also (not common in many Spanish hotels). The only downside was that we got there after a cold spell and the (central) air conditioner was still set on high - even though the outside temperature had increased. This made the room a bit too warm, but opening the balcony door fixed that. The beds are a bit "lumpy" but nevertheless comfortable and the breakfast was whatever you wanted - this is a bonus when in some places you are stuck with yesterday's croissants and weak coffee.

We were travelling from Seville to the Algarve by car and needed somewhere to stay urgently, the weather was making driving conditions very poor. We found this hotel it seemed OK at first look ,rooms were of a old Spanish style basic but very cheap for overnight stay. We told by the gentlemen on duty that evening meals are served from 8pm -10pm in the dining room . But as there was only us and another couple staying this seemed unlikely to happen ? Later that night we had a drink in the bar ,and noticed the couple staying where eating in the bar . As we thought the dining room never opened , the member of staff in charge of the bar seemed more interested in his phone than looking after any customers . We decided to try some food ,we ordered minestrone soup .. Well it was the worst soup I have ever tasted ,it consisted of bowl of left over vegetables ! No taste horrible .... Breakfast was a dry roll toasted and help yourself to butter & marmalade if you could find it . With a bit of TLC and some well trained staff trained in customer service it could be a goldmine.....

What a brilliant hotel just off the motorway but far enough away not to hear traffic. Visit their website and everything is accurate 100 per cent. Dog friendly rooms too. Parking. Loved the decor, immaculate rooms and food in the attached restaurant. We have booked already for our 2018 trip as we do not want to miss out in case the place is full. One further good point is tphe gas station not too far away and without rip-off motorway prices you invariably get.

It was cheap. That's about it. Unfriendly, no service, food came straight out of the microwave and a tuna salad was served as 'vegetarian - no meat or fish'. Breakfast included...it consisted of an apple, applejuice and a cookie... Airconditioning in day extremely cold, at night it was somehow turned off (nights were very hot). Room and bathroom fine, but all in all not a great place.

Stopped here for 1 night on our way to Jerez. A days riding in the rain and was a little put off by exterior. Thought it was shut initially but staff came out to greet us, checked us in and took us to our room and turned the heating on for us. Simple rooms but comfortable and clean. Lots of hot water but a little slow in coming through. Bar staff was very friendly. Ate in dining room and wow amazing food. Breakfast is not great just coffee/tea and toast.
