In Philippines, a resort is not necessarily what "people from away" would consider a resort. This is more like a cottage/cabin rental on the beach. Rather plain but clean and with an excellent staff. You need to bring in everything you're going to need food, ice, refreshment - the whole shooting match. Oh and don't forget the charcoal for the barbeque. It's a great get away and it's not very expensive.

Take care of the sharp stones and wear proper footwear if you must. 😂 Waves are strong too in this area. There are many beaches like this in the San Joaquin area (this is close to Antique where more amazing beaches and attractions are to be found). I suggest to bring your own food coz you can cook there too, there are also cottages available (both for daytime and overnight stay).

A quiet, clean and graciously serviced resort. Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff were very attentive, served snacks and beverages (more ice - BasangBasa is strictly BYO, no bar to speak of) late into the evening, did our wash, and in general took great care of us. The spot is a bit isolated - no restaurants to speak of, so you have to provide your own food but table areas by the beach are delightful. Too bad the beach is rocky, and the extant coral reefs ravaged by pollution

the resort is good and the price is very cheap, the water is very clean and the rooms were so relaxing. the service is good and our stay really comfortable. the only problem is that at night there is no servant.
