A living paradise!! Tour packages are well-suited and cost-effective. Trekking through the hills, beach volleyball, island hopping, and snorkeling are all worthwhile activities to try. This is also a must-try for any nature lover!! There's no city noise and no cellular signal, but there's a chance you'll get a network signal for SMS and calls at the top of the hills. People are very accommodating, and it's a surreal feeling to relax surrounded by nature. Remember to carry your cameras for the breathtaking views!!

I've always want to go to this place. I've been google-ing this place since 2013. Finally had the chance and it was worth it. Beaches are beautiful and the mountains scenes are great. I would be coming back again

A living paradise, virgin boracay of Bicol.
I've visited this island thrice - 2012, 2014 and recently June 2-3, 2017 and would consider lots of improvement. Tour packages are well suitable, budget-friendly and a well-deserved seafood buffet meals. Tent accommodation as usual at night while nipa hut cottage during day. Activities are worth the try - trekking by the hills, kayaking, beach volleyball, island hopping and snorkeling. If you are a nature lover - this is a must try, no noise from the city and there is no cellular signal - though at the top of the hills there is a chance you get a network signal for SMS and calls. People are very accommodating and surreal experience of relaxing with all the nature in it. Don't forget your phones and cameras well charged for breathe taking views. 😉

We had a small room with an air conditioner. This was powered by a generator. We could use the air conditioner the whole night and for most of the day. There was a shower just outside our room which we found convenient. A little sitting area outside our door was pleasant when it wasn’t too warm.

Food is included in the lodging. It was good, simple food. Our group added to the resort’s food so we ate very well indeed.

I stayed at another resort last year. The accommodations were similar but it was an advantage to be able to use the air conditioner longer. Maybe Paradise Resort has a better generator.

All in all it was quite satisfactory.

Not many choices in Calaguas. Paradise Resort leads the pack. Rooms are clean and well laid-out. Perfect for groups. They also have native huts for couples. Only drawback with these huts is that the bathrooms and showers are communal. They are also in the process of building a restaurant! Note: There are currently no restaurants and bars on this island.

Calaguas Island is truly a summer paradise, it's one of the best island I've seen so far. Me and my friends really enjoyed the clear water of the beach and we also tried trekking. We really had a great time here since the island is not crowded and it's also my first time to do outdoor camping and sleep in a tent.

Calaguas is not a commercialized resort that's why there's no hotel and I think power supply have schedule also because of this restaurant can only offer us drinks at night good thing we bring some canned goods that we enjoy while drinking well the resto staff is kind enough to lend us some plates for our spam.

We left Alabang friday night at around 10pm then we arrived in Paracale 6am we had our breakfast in brgy candelaria, after that we proceed to the port around 8am we put our bags in a big plastic so that it will not be wet due to high waves on the ocean. It took 2 hrs from the port to Calaguas Island, it was a hot and long trip but when we reached the island it was all worth it, the clear water and the fine sand were amazing! We were welcomed by the representative of Pulandaga Calaguas Adventure, he was veryaccommodating and generous, he apologized for the late lunch but we didnt mind that because of the delicious lunch they prepared, it was all worth it, it was a buffet lunch together with the other group of tourists. After that busolve lunch, our group decided to take a nap since it still too hot by that time and totally no signal on the island, there were no electricity available as well but there were specific times where generators will be open. Around 4pm meryenda is served and of course we were still delighted of its taste knowing that he is the cook! Amazing right? After that our group decided to swim, though it was still very hot, the water is cold so you will not feel it if your on the water. There were lots of activities on the island, kayaking, skim boarding etc. but we were just able to experience the volleyball on the beach because were still lazy for some adventures haha! Night came and dinner was ready again, as usual, delicious!! They also had party event but were not able to attend there because we were too tired already so we just spent the rest of our night there in our cottage. The following day we tried the trekking activity, wow! Amazing view! It has Batanes hvibe once you reach the top. Then we went back to our cottage for the breakfast, and still, it was beyond our expectation! Woah! What can I say? Our stay there is not totally perfect but because our expectations were surpassed all positive feedbacks for this island and for the people who maintain it. Exceeding expectation of your guests is really important in tourism industry, All filipino foods plus stunning view plus hospitable people = perfect tourism destination!

2hours away from the boat station. But worth the wait.
Clean water, white sand, fresh beach breeze.
Bring your powerbanks, extra clothes, slippers, beach outfit, jacket, extra cash.
There are stores everywhere so you can buy snacks and make pancit canton.
