Pretty close to perfect so not much to be said: cosy & quiet location, terrific welcome, help and tips from owners, amazing home cooked food, rooms are in perfect shape and comfortable, all the little details are on point. Really make sure you try and spend a few nights here to disconnect, enjoy the sweeping sea view and cooling fresh water pools. A highlight in Tablas!

Unfortenatly we didn't sleep over but we met the owners, really sociable, nice and welcoming. We had a drink in their place. An amazing view, lovely Bamboo house, the best place to rest in quiet. Alexis and Isabelle

Our stay at the Blue Seastar Resort was absolutely fabulous. As a matter of fact we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay an additional two weeks. The view of the ocean with the fresh breeze and the sound of the waves on the beach were very soothing. The location is quite peaceful and the local people are very friendly. Our hostess and her sister prepared delicious local and international cuisine for us daily. The cottages are very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a place to relax and refresh then I highly recommend the Blue Seastar Resort.

I really recommend this resort, because... The Blue Seastar Resort is like my peaceful home with beautiful nature and amazing ocean view. I could spend and feel current time "NOW", I don't think about the past, don't worry about the future, just can be in "NOW", just can feel "NOW". Never had such a experience. The great ocean view, beautiful sunset, and spending time with nice people in Blue Seastar Resort make you happy and you can get back your real beautiful parts of yourself. Very quiet, just can hear ocean voice, or gecko crying some time. The place is really great for your meditation. And you can drink very good fresh coconut water from the tree, there. It was great experiece for me. The coutages are very beautiful design and nice sense (Those are designed by Owner, he used be a professional building engininer.) And ! Owner Madam and her sister, they are amazing cooking chefs, for me, they are the best chefs in Tablas island, mm, maybe the best in Philipine ! So delicious, that I got 2kg weight.. haha. Owner couple and their sister are very very nice person and good hospitality. You should visit and stay there ! (better to visit to avoid high season = Dec to beginning of Jan, or Easter season, because so crowded and difficult to get the boats or plane.)
