If you're looking for a clean and nice place, this one is definitely not it. It's overpriced. The AC in my brother's room barely worked. Our room had an annoying rat in the ceiling, and I saw a rat running on the stairs. Staff are accommodating and nice. Location is good.

Although not the most luxurious, this is (at the moment) possibly one of the best places to stay longer term in Coron if you have a medium budget and are doing a lot of sightseeing (as the hotel doesn't offer much apart from cable tv).

We stayed 4 nights at pp1900/night with breakfast included.

Smaller rooms inside the building are better (less outside noise, quieter aircon, darker at night). Rooms are basic (modern) but clean with aircon and a bathroom with monsoon shower. Wifi is available in the rooms we had.

Staff at reception always present, friendly and helpful.

Breakfast on the roof of decent quality and there is a great view.

Small shops in the street offer snacks and drinks.

Will likely go here again on my next visit.

I booked Micasa Lodge based on Trip Advisor reviews. Stayed here for 3 days while the hotel was celebrating its first year anniversary before staying in another hotel in Busuanga. Clean place in middle of town near the shops, restaurants and the port where the boats take off for island hopping. No landline phones in town so the staff will knock at your door. Wifi connection slow inside the room. Breakfast is good but not exceptional. Friendly staff will attend to your needs with a smile. Beach towels are for a fee of 50 pesos each. Tricycle ride is 10 pesos per person. Power outages happen daily in. Coron but this hotel has backup generator. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again. Good value for money.

Excellent hotel. Room was big and comfy bed. Shower was big with hot and cold water. Tv had a range of channels if that’s your thing. Aircon worked and quiet room. Friendly staff - excellent breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the Coron Bay. Would easily stay here again. 5min walk into town. Ideal location.

I suggest to book on their own website - it’s cheaper than other travel sites. I only paid 35$ AUD per night, compared to others would stared 80$.

Easily stay again :))

Micasa Lodge, our stay at Coron.. The location is good with the main street at a walking distance and the rooms are good too. They are small, but clean and well maintained..
Our room was 2 flights up, so make sure u don't forget anything..
They have Wi-Fi in public areas, room service, hot water in shower, complimentary tea and coffee at the reception area..
Breakfast was included, but since we are vegetarians they just had bread butter and bananas for the 3 days we were there.. The hotel staff was not friendly or warm at all.. Its like you can't ask for anything and they don't even want to listen to u..
We definitely don't recommend this Hotel..
Overall and absolutely value for money, but not for hospitality..

There is some massive construction/renovation work on going in the hotel and it is done between midnight and 3am!!! It was impossible to sleep even with ear plugs. Hotel staff does not care about it.
This place is to avoid for at least 1 year until the construction work is finished.
AC is very noisy as well.
And there is no acoustic isolation with the next room...

Only good point is a simple and good breakfast with a nice view on the top.

Room and bathroom are clean.

We arranged for airport roundtrip transfers which I think is really advisable upon booking. Upon arrival at the lodge, you'll be greeted by the friendly staff, the place has wi-fi access on the lobby areas located at every floors where your room is, accommodation is great. The lodge was just newly constructed last September& has nice amenities - rooms have flat screen tvs, hot/cold shower areas- we stayed at the Diamond Room where there's a good view, plus it comes with complimentary breakfast served at their rooftop which provides a good view of the sea & surrounding islands in front & the majestic Mt. Tapyas Cross at the back. Their location is perfect as well, very accesible to your choice of stop when you like to explore the place. Every destination can be reached by tricycle with a flat rate of only P10.00/pax. The tricylce drivers are courteous and kind as well. Overall, the accommodation & amenities are very good, as definitely we'll choose this again as our lodging place when we come back.

I am very satisfied with my accommodation. I arrived 7am and check in is 2pm. But the lady receptionist told me that i can have early check in. She also helped me with the island tour whose pick up time is 8am just in time. I entered my room and i was delighted it was spacious, clean, cozy. Bed is firm and soft and i have 4 comfy pillows. Toilet and bath is clean , well lit and no smell and there is a bidet. There is a sofa, cabinet, flat TV with cable. There is hot and cold shower and pressure is strong My accommodation came with a free breakfast. Breakfast is located at the rooftop where you get a very good view of mountains and the port. Breakfast has the typical filipino dish- danggit, fried rice , fried egg. Staff are helpful especially with my tour requests. I am happy with my stay. I will definitely go back to this lodge.
