The scenery is definitely breathtaking! Noylt going back to tagaytay after this. I just hope the owner focusesbon cleanlines. The rooms are so dirty! The sink was leaking. No shower curtain. The pillows are like 20yrs old they're almost flat! I sincerely hope they improve their rooms as the whole scenery and cool weather could easily beat tagaytay.

We celebrate Christmas at Sierra Madre Resort in Tanay. We love our stay there abd the staff are very accomodating. Every angle of the resort will take your breath away. It feels like we are in Baguio. Very cold and windy weather that makes it special.

The place is great but it's only recommended for Day Tour when you just want to relax because the pool is not being maintained, or should I say the whole place is not being maintained. The restaurant, the swimming pools, the rest rooms, and the rooms are so dirty that you can't even stay there for long.

The location is good, but the service is poor. No staff to assist us in the morning. No basic needs, especially WATER. Airconditioning is not working , it seems that they were affected by the pandemic.

Boring place with lots of religious statues. A very ordinary picnic place.

I am not a fan of doing hiking and walking. This place is not for family with small kids.

From Antipolo, we took the Marilaque hiway by car for a 30-minute drive just to see and to confirm if the reviews from Google are really true, that this place is worth seeing.

However, to my dismay, the pool is closed. There were many people all around. There was a pre-nup going on when we got there. The religious statues were bothersome, not really exciting to see. There was a booth for milk tea. Nothing out of the ordinary. The weather is fine and the breeze is cold. And that's it!

It took my breathe away, just right like I needed it where to be. I felt lost yet so found. it was the most heartbreaking moment for me, but for a moment I felt home, and cared. Like my memories keep on repeating, good and bad, but still somehow make my heart warm. I am very much aware of the facility being old, and the fashion is like out-dated. but for me? it's perfect to see the world it was before, not so modern, just like it felt home.

After my exploring Ten Cents to Heaven, my trike driver suggested that I visit Sierra Madre Resort and Hotel. Aside from zip line, they have a restaurant, chapel, hotel rooms, swimming pool. They also have a hanging bridge, lush garden and a huge size of Sto Niño. Entrance fee is just P50.

Liked the place and room rates are not that expensive.

A group of 6 of us, 3 couples arrived in the evening of a weekday. Needing 3 rooms and no other guest on site we asked for a discount and were told they never give discounts. ..if thats the case then okay but i find it hard to believe.

We checked into the cabin rooms.
Aircon is useless, you can not sleep or have a conversation if it is on. Very loud. (500p extra for the aorcon room)
No TV
No cabinets
Stray animals waiting at your door
Mold on the walls and floors
Shower is cold, hot water is a death trap contraption. Never did have hot water, or in our friends rooms.
Holes in wall surrounding aircon letting in mosquitoes.
They have zipline but i wouldnt recommend that since even the patio of the zipline is falling down with rotted wood.
We didnt try the pool but there was a guy cleaning it at the time and didnt look to bad.
Food was what i would expect. Nothing to write home about but it filled our belly and was OK.
While dining expect stray dogs and cats to be climbing in your lap. They freely roam the inside dining area.
Personally I would have rather camped. This place is just a step above sleeping in the car

If you are looking for a cheap, accessible and (relatively) cold place for a quick escape from the metro this is the place to be. BUT don't expect this to be like Tagaytay or some pretty place. Somehow it does look good in photos (saw a couple having their prenup shoot here during my visit), but this is not really a place for picnics.

The place (rooms and public places) are dilapidated and not well maintained. And there was a lot of trash around (the outdoor dining areas). Even the room trash was not quickly removed, you can see the dishes and sheets left out to the flies.

But if you are practicing photo enthusiast well there are lots of places to shoot, with lots of subjects too - so this might be a good place for you to start.

Walk ins are allowed but I am not aware to what time they accept. I also know there are provisions for camping / swimming only. Swimming rate is around P200.00 only (price as of 2017).

If I'm not mistaken, I think there are. When we were going there, there were jeepneys and motorcycles from the center. There were also local people who waited along the highway for transport.
