The only thing good about this resort is the view. The staff there give a whole new meaning to "not available", including all seafood all the restaurant, the gifts shop items on display, basic hot water, regular coffee, even our reservations we arranged weeks before suddenly were no longer available and we had to get a different room. The entire facility is in need of major repairs. We had a list of issues including doors not closing all the way, no hot water, almost half the outside lights being broken, and broken stonework everywhere. The biggest issue we had was the restaurant, with all fish being "not available", the foods not being very good and over priced but there were not a lot of options outside the resort to eat. The "free breakfast" was a choice of 2 dishes and didn't even include coffee. The staff got our food orders incorrect every time we were there and really didn't care that it was wrong. The resort itself was very expensive but really not worth it compared to better facilities in the area. I would suggest a day pass to get the best pictures and views but make sure you bring your own food.

Terrible Disappointment Booked a Garden View Cottage thru’ Agoda. Upon check-in we were informed by the receptionist that what they offer does not include WiFi. We pointed out that our Agoda order clearly indicated free WiFi. After walking off three times to check with her manager she finally handed us the WiFi instrument without giving any explanation and/or apology (neither did her manager, if there was even one). While the room itself was more or less acceptable (even if no TV, no phone, no minibar, outside jacuzzi not working, the empty fridge was not even plugged in), the bathroom was a total disaster with broken shower faucet and no toiletries except for two tiny pieces of soap. The restaurant service is extremely poor with only one waiter for two restaurants, one for lunch and dinner, the second one for breakfast, resulting in the one waiter running all the time from one restaurant to the other to collect the ordered food. The breakfast included in the price is not even worth of a one-star hotel with the only waiter holding an old hand-written “menu” in his hand and the customer obliged to collect his spoons and folks himself from wherever. No fresh fruits or juices, no corn flakes, nothing worth of a three-star hotel. Hotel staff are untrained, have no idea of customer service and hardly speak any English. Hotel management is non-existent. The promised beach is also non-existent, just rocks and garbage. How this old run-down place was awarded three stars is an absolute mystery. Upon check-out they initially refused giving an invoice, only due to our insistence, which they already knew from our check-in, we were finally successful getting one. The one and only plus is the breathtaking view from room and restaurant, which is not reason enough to recommend the place to anybody.

First of all, you pay P300 just to walk in! We only wanted to go to the restaurant. ( I’ve been to most of the fine resorts in Dauin and I was never charged to go just to the restaurant). We were led to an area on the outskirts of the restaurant , next to one of the pools. It was under the trees, but partially in the sun. The ground was dirt and rocks. The chairs were old, stained white plastic chairs, that were more dark-stained than white. When we asked to sit closer to the restaurant the staff member told us, “That will cost you P200.” Whatever! The “Shrimp Scampi” was the chef’s rendition of Shrimp Scampi. It was made with a butter sauce... no olive oil; no garlic; no taste but salty butter which tasted more like margarine than butter. The pasta came with one slice of commercial white bread. ( Italian or French bread would have been better). And the portion was on the small side. Five small shrimps were included. My wife’s order came to the table long after I finished my pasta. She ordered the Tinola Manok. It tasted like packaged chicken broth with undercooked green vegetable and overcooked chicken. Believe me... I’ve had much better food from street vendors at half the price. And, the restaurant tacked on a 10% service charge for 5% service. Now I see why there are almost as many terrible reviews as there are excellent reviews. My advice is: Get a good chef if you’re going to charge resort prices. And eliminate the entry fee. You’ll get better reviews.

We decided to unwind with my family and we immediately thought of Antulang because of its mesmerizing view. We weren't disappointed because our pool side view offers the cliff hanger view we really wanted and the privacy of having your own pool in your villa. Food was good and relatively cheaper compared to most resorts. And the main huge pool with a hint of infinity view is still a fave up to this day. If you like a Bali feel experience in Negros or Philippines, definitely a must try.

Went there for Valentines Day, booked a pool villa overnight with my gf & for our 4th anniversary. Our time there was miserable, there was no real beach to walk and there werent any horses. The food at the resto was not good and it closed really early and there was nothing near the resort where we could dine-out or buy snacks, because the resort is located far away. We did not bother joining their Valentines Dinner Special because it was too expensive for what it was. A Mini-Bar in the rooms was advertised, but there was none, the fridge was not even plugged in. At 11pm we found no staff in sight for help and the phone did not work in our room. The villa pool was alright but nothing special. The jacuzzi took almost 2 hrs to fill up, slow water pressure, and it did not even heat up, that seemed to be broken., The next morning, the free breakfast was sloppy, it was either spicy chorizo or bacon. We were really happy to leave that place. I do not recommend this place.

The location is a bit off from the city center but it's definitely worth the long drive. If you're looking for a peaceful and quiet place to relax this is definitely the place. A serene atmosphere where you can enjoy the vast ocean view and sunset. Friendly and accommodating staffs. Sunset and early morning views were fantastic. The pathway leading to the beach has a rundown or ruin effect which is perfect. The beach is rocky and not advisable for swimming but they do have an infinity pool where you can enjoy and relax.

Peaceful and relaxing. It was a great weekend spent in this amazing resort. Loved the Executive Room that we had, facing the ocean and it's got a jacuzzi tub. 40-50 mins away from Dumaguete City and it was a perfect time because we were able to avoid the rain from the city. Will definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a getaway in Negros Oriental.

Antulang Beach Resort is an ideal place if you’re looking for a place to unwind & to commune with nature. It’s far from the city proper but we love it because of the awesome scenery of the place. Food is great although it’s a bit expensive; it’s all worth the price. The staff if friendly & accomodating however, I think the counter staff should be trained more in their oral communications. The place is clean & the infinity pool is great (though it’s a bit salty). Overall experience is very good & I will be recommending it to friends & family.
