Simple birthday celebration made extra special by Twin Lakes! Had a room with surprise birthday greetings and cake coupled with a stunning view of Taal, cool weather and the of sound chirping birds that made our stay relaxing. Sure this place is safe as they require Antigen negative test result and even do it onsite with a minimal fee. Great that they also offer web check in for a contact less and efficient check-in. The staff are very accommodating & friendly...
They have a reasonable room package with food and beverage consumable for a 5 star accommodation.
My son and sister really enjoyed and will definitely come back soon.

Finally! Twinlakes now welcomes pets in their hotel 🐶Almost every month we go here as our family weekend escapade due to its great and relaxing view, clean rooms and warm water in the pool 💙🌊 My family is so happy, we can now go here without worrying for our pet. Thank you Twinlakes, until our next visit ❤️ I also commend the chef, lunch and dinner is so good but I suggest that you change the set of breakfast. I also commend Ms Sarah for always assisting us in our stay, Sir Mon for always welcoming us and assisting my family to our rooms(always) and Ms Ge for always assisting us whenever we dine in the cafe. Overall experience always meet our expectations ✨

Dear Ms Trish Thank you for staying with us almost every month and for sharing your experiences with this review. Yes, finally we are already accommodating fur-rents and fur-babies in the hotel. Every weekend, we see a lot of fur babies here. We appreciate your comments on the food, especially with our breakfast selections. Your commendation was also shared to our hard working colleagues. This will surely motivate them to do even better. Glad that we have met your expectations. Hope we can exceed it the next time you come back, hopefully in the near future. Thank you for your support. Stay safe. Kind regards Rowena Relucio-Samonte Director of Sales & Marketing

View is a given since any hotel in tagaytay offers the same one. But it ends there.
Staff (untrained)
1. Unprofessional, requests and inquiries were answered with one-liners (eg. "wala", "dun", etc) it's like talking to a random stranger on the street.
2. Unaccomodating, guests making eye contacts or gestures towards staff should be immediately tended to. Staff will be pointing fingers at each other to go to the guest in need of their service.
3. Rude, security was grilling us wether we REALLY were checked in, despite having shown him the room key; another security refused to let us enter the premises due to incomplete ppe (no face shield) however upon entering the hotel, staff themselves were NOT wearing complete ppe either.
Service (worst in the history of all hotels)
1. Room service has a cut-off time, we requested for a bucket of ice around 10pm & the receptionist informed us that there was no more room service since it was beyond 10pm
2. Corkage was insisted on us despite having failed to provide us with the specific goods (due to their service cutoff)
3. We found used personal slippers of previous guests under the bed - in our room, considering the pandemic, housekeeping should be more diligent in their job.
Food (a hospital canteen is better)
1. Buffet food is TERRIBLE, comparable to that of a Karinderya.
2. A la carte food was passable, but not to the point to make any sense against all the dissapointments we experienced.
Ambiance (very, very, VERY shabby)
1. They must have thought that using good kinds of materials for the construction compensates for the overall finishing of the interiors, however, the installations were very OFF and poorly executed giving the users a hard time operating inside the hotel (doors, windows, showers, etc)
Due to the extremely high rates, we expected a bit of a luxury, however we could have gotten a better deal with a hotel that rates @ 5,000 per night.
The hotel deserves no points for the view since the view is public property and not, in any way, a part of their rates.

Disaster service, too slow, we wait 2 hours to our food and when it's arrived its arrived wrong order. Cleaning are terrible, room service very bad we asked 6 times to clean our room,, we back to the room after 7 hours still no one clean it. We wait to the drinks in the pool 3 hours! Food are really bad. No test, pizza are not cooked well, chicken arrived too cold. The pool you can be there 1 hour per room, we took 6 rooms and still they give us only 1 hour. We definitely will not comeback and we will not recommend this place. Very Disappointed. Only the view good. Also they fix the room for the birthday all the bloonns was Blown up, they put cheesecake all the day outside the refrigerator and it was rotten when we arrived to the room.
We definitely will not come back.
We definitely will not come back.

Dear nofar9999 Thank you for staying at Twin Lakes Hotel and for sharing your experience with us. Your feedback is valuable to us which is why we shared your review with the concerned departments right away. It is truly disheartening to know your disappointments on your food and beverage orders, cleaning, decors and pool schedule. I would like to extend our apologies with regard to all your concerns. We value your feedback and hope that the negative impression we have given you will not deter you from patronizing our hotel again in the future. Whilst there is no excuse to what you experienced, perhaps I can persuade you that we are capable of change and responding to guest comments. We have met the heads of the departments and we have made some action plans to address the concerns to avoid these from happening again. Staff to undergo re-training is one of our action plans. Once again, thank you for sharing you concerns here and for celebrating birthday with us. If there is anything we can assist you with, you may send me an email thru 0017 5159483. Thank you. Sincerely, Rowena R. Samonte Director of Sales & Marketing

We booked 2 rooms for an overnight stay to celebbrate our grand daughter's birthday. Overall, I would say it falls below expectation considering the price and given the glowing marketing of the hotel.
Pros: staff are all corteous and attend to problems quite fast.. Pool is clean and the guard will not hesitate to call the attention of guests who will sit by the edge of the infinity pool. The hotel requires booking for the pool's use to ensure no overcrowding in the pool. They have a game room where you can play chess, billiards etc aa well as a gym and play room for todlers. Breakfast was sufficient, nothing spectacular.
Where they fall short: the room is spacious but underfurnished. There is only 1 chair inside the room and another in the balcony. There is no bath robe, thin toilet paper, only 1 face towel and no hand towel. The silicon moulding on the shower enclosure had molds. First time to see a hotel where the towel rack is located over the toilet bowl. The room ref had barely cooling capacity. When we checked in, we couldnt connect to their wifi because of some technical problems. Altho, the problem was resolved adter a few tries.

Stayed here the night before a wedding. You can tell the hotel is struggling following the Taal situation but that should be all the more reason to look after the guests who are choosing to stay with them. The staff are rude and the hotel charge you for everything, extra glasses, opening bottles in your room etc.
The rooms are clean but very average in terms of facilities for the price you pay. Breakfast and coffee is terrible!

The reservation and booking process was great from Sarah up to the welcoming of TJ with unexpected lootbags for my kids that made them extremely surprised, I appreciated that so much. But total experience? TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT. We really look forward on this trip to Tagaytay as we had been very busy before Christmas and this is our make up trip for our family but the stay was tremendously disappointing even up to the last morning. We really preferred the breakfast be served in our room rather than us being exposed to different people at the breakfast buffet, but what was served was ‘mas better pa sa karinderya’. F&B Manager went in our room with his most sincere sorry but I am not buying the reason of “we are having baby steps palang” cause hello? We are paying in full for our staycation not to get baby step kind of service. Plus, we have 2 rooms and I requested for late check out atleast for 1 room lang (thinking they may consider) but they only gave us an hour. Prior to booking, I ask them if the have room service and they said yes, (palakain kasi kami even in the middle of the night) BUT Whenever whatever you order on their room service, always walang available, wala pa naman malapit at bukas na kainan sa kanila, that even you asked for water, may charge. You borrow utensils and plate, may charge. Nag ask ako plates kasi gumawa ng gingerbread kids ko, took them 2 freaking hours to deliver. The blinds are not working both in our 2 rooms. Better stay in other hotels who are well-operated and well-manage that can offer great clients’ services that is worth the amount you paid for them, look for a worry-free place, somewhere ready enough to give the value of service you deserve. But then again, thanks to Tj, Owen and Sarah, dapat yung service nila kasing level ng consistency ng buong hotel para di sayang yung pang5 star hotel na katulad nila. 🙂

Checked in overnight but if you have time check in for at least 2-nights to try and enjoy their amenities. The De Luxe room was big enough for 2 people. The view is just amazing (I even zoned out for a while) Got the forest and Taal lake view. BUT the bbed is just WOW. If you want to rest the bed is so comfy and it makes you sleep well. They have good restaurants outside and the Cafe was also good. Since it's still MECQ they served a la carte for lunch and dinner and a standard breakfast buffet. Free parking is available as well. Comp water tho is 2 bottles per day only (so if you love H2O you have to buy per bottle or just bring your own) IATF guidelines: If fully vaccinated just present your vaccination card. If not, present a negative antigen swab test result even via email =) No frills and I really enjoyed the genuine Filipino hospitality. Basically, I will definitely go back and try the game room and infinity pool =)
