We have booked a family room for 9 days here, where a family room under their understanding is a normal double room(twin bed) plus with one person sofa and a single folding bed. This is not acceptable because the room is small and not too much space to move around. The bathroom was very small also, probably 2 x 2 m2, were the shower was just tub with no curtains and water spraying over your toilet and sink. To go out from the bathroom inside the room you had to lay over a towel to wipe your feet from water. You could had slip very easy if you didn't do that. The bathroom didn't had a hairdryer, but we have asked to reception and they gave us one. Talking about breakfast, this was the same for the hole period of our stay, changes were only in omelets beside the daily scramble omelets. They could have diversified this but I don't think there is an interest in this. Dinner was pretty much the same, with small changes our stay. The restaurant is just across the street which is not specified on the website. Their hotel is not on the beach but is very close to the beach. Their area with beds and sunbeds on the beach is not stated anywhere. Their beach service is on the same restaurant were you are serving the meal. It take's longer to be served with cold beverages. Under the weekend where the breakfast was longer, the beach service was late because of that, the same person that cleans the tables on the restaurant serves drinks on the beach. Probably more things to say but it didn't worth the money we spent here. I would not recommend this hotel, maybe for a transit night to better hotel's.

We just spent 7 days at Stavros Beach Hotel and the rating is based on the below comments: Cleaning- is one of the most important things that a hotel can use to welcome you. When you find in your first day hair in the bathroom, a chicken sink that still has residues from the last visitor and a toiled that you are not sure if it was not cleaned or only time has passed, you cannot make a first good impresion. And this issue will continue on the next 7 days. I even tested to see if they will clean the bathroom, but it seems that cleaning is not on top of their priorities, at least in the “old” part of the hotel. Regarding this chapter my conclusion is that it needs to be done more than just replacing toilet paper and towels. Insect nest- it exists, but as you will be able to see in the picture, there is also a hole below it that will make it obsolete. The sliding door does not close perfectly on one end, but you will only notice it on a windy day/night. Airing the room- this was the second thing that we noticed when entering the room. Ok the room has old furniture, but that does not mean that you will also have to smell it like it was not aired ever in that room. Breakfast - You need to like very much egs, or have some good imagination in combining the same things, otherwise, after 3-4 days you will start all over again. Pool - clean, but too few sun beds, only 11 for a hotel with over 30 rooms. Space exists, but it only needs to be reshaped for this purpose. Parking - not signalised, it is in the back of the hotel, used by others too, but the space was not an issue. Old entrance to the hotel- could be used by the guests living in that section, not having to circle almost the entire hotel to reach the parking lot. WiFi - poor, almost imposible to be used in the evening or from the room. There is an AP located near the old entrance, but the position on the ground makes it obsolete, as it will not improve anything. If you need good WiFi signal stay near the reception. This will however not guarantee that on the evening when everyone is using it, especially to listen to music on youtube, you will have some speed. Hotel is located near the beach, not on the beach, but 500m is not such a long distance to the first beach bar. They also have their own beach bar, but it is not advertised on check-in. Could be used to give something back to their own clients, by offering the sunbeds for free. Also there is no control on how and to whom the breakfast is served, as no one is asking any room number, if you just show up from the street or just enter near reception it will look like you are staying at the hotel. TV - a very small 15” Tv is in the room, but most of the times on the channel that has english audio the reception is poor, and it breaks often, so besides that you need glases to see something on the TV you will need a lot of patience to make a sense from the show. Don’t understand that I expect a 50+” TV, but a 32” will do fine, and there are a lot of them that are also cheap, as you would not need any smart options on it. Final conclusion: the old part of the hotel even if it has old furniture, does not mean that the rest of the services need to remain as old as them. Lots of small things can be done that will improve drastically the image and make the ration price/quality to improve. Right now my experience in the last 7 days was that this part of the hotel does not have what it takes to be a 3 star hotel. Zoom on the pictures too see the details.

Rooms are very nice, recently renovated- cozy and clean. Some of the rooms have a great view to the pool and the palms :) The hotel is 2 min walking distance from the beach. We had breakfast and dinner- all of the food was delicious.

Not what you would expect. Restaurant is across the street. Not on the beach. Close but not a "beach hotel". Unorganised. You get what you pay for. Food not much to choose from, limited drinks on breakfast, only water for dinner. No coffee for dinner. Nothing to do besides hanging by the pool. No pool bar. But you can still order by the pool, not all the hours. Beach terrible maybe beacause of the floods? Parking area on a muddy field with no enclosure on the back of the hotel. Friendly staff that tried to forfil our wishes. Not that proffessional but friendly, therefor the second star. Nightlife is ok, alot of shops and restsurants. The town is not taken care of, old and worn down, not so pleasent.

We have just arrived back from a fabulous one week holiday at the Hotel Stavros Beach. Great holiday, beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Renovated rooms and very clean and modern, lovely food, caring and efficient staff and a truly special hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a wonderful break. Comfy beds and all the other usual amenities. It's located near from the beach. The pool area is nice. We'll definitely be back!
