Just stayed for one night with our 6 year old grandson . Basic but has everything you need Good clean room and shower room Had a double bed and bump bed in room Had tea-making facility. and a small fridge. Paid £67.for 2 adult 1 child No breakfast but loads of cafes in ingolmels/Skegness. Chip shop next door which came in useful in the evening after a busy day closed at 9 o'clock Close to ingolmels/ Skegness and Butlins. We will definitely keep this on our list to visit again .thanks for our comfortable visit.

Wow, Great room, nice and big, great wi-fi, very friendly staff, John & his partner could'nt do enough, one Very sad part!!!! We wish we had found this motel before being in a small room in skegness. Get here, park the car up, Busses to skegness & indgoldmills stop just over the road, but No breakfast,, Not a problem, how many( like me) have had Over charged breakfast's at hotels. Get up, make yourself a cuppa, jump on the buss and choise from many many breakfast's This place i give 120% and will be going back both on business & pleasure again and again. So dont waist money, save it & be "Wowed" by this place. Very well done & keep up the good work. Alan & Jakob. Many thanks.

6/10. Close area to essential things. Decent room size. However, dirty bedding, ants under microwave and around kettle and condiments. Mucky floor, needs a good clean, in and around all areas. But staff were lovely, shame about the motel.

The Management were very noisy, constantly slamming doors, thumping up and down the corridors, The Manageress was Screaming & shouting using foul language, arguing, constantly from when we returned back, from 21.30 to 3.00 am in the morning, Constant noise outside our side window as it was used by management & others as a smoking & a Video phone point, so our windows were closed 24/7. Safety issues:- Poor shower system, every time someone flushed a toilet or ran the cold water in the building the shower became scalding, not good for us, never mind children. Next is, at the back of the Motel there are 4 large Static caravans hidden ( squashed) very close together, 3 occupied as sky lights lit at night and we could hear foreign conversations, if one of these caught fire they all would burn, and no one would get out of the upstairs Motel rooms, as there is NO FIRE ESCAPE from the rooms, one way in same way out. Impossible to social distance, and didn’t seem to matter anyway. Definitely no rest at The Travellers Rest, would never go back again, other paying customers that we talked to were also very unhappy, on arrival one lady told us we missed the two fights outside the night before. I don't suppose anyone from Booking.Com or Trip Adviser will read this about the safety issues as above nor act upon it.
