Stella Maris can not be reached by car, only by boat or walking, and this is one of its beauties. The boats can be boarded at Camogli harbour. Walking from Camogli involves going up the mountain and then down again and it is a good hour walk. Alternatively you could get by bus to the village of San Rocco and then walk down the hill to Punta Chiappa/Stella Maris.
Cars can be parked in Camogli where there are both free and payment car parks. Associazione Turistica Pro-Loco Camogli has a website which provides information about parking areas.
