Getting there
Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I'd read lots of mixed reviews for the Mob House so I wasn't sure what to expect however I was hopeful that maybe it had been a mix of the busy time whilst the Olympics were on and teething issues being so new, however I think the whole thing is just very average. Check in was fine, the location is fine (despite some moans about the surrounding areas) the gentleman on reception was very pleasant. I knew all about the city taxes and the pre-auth from reading other reviews so I wasn't shocked by this. I requested anti allergenic which I got however that was the extent of me feeling like the hotel really did anything for me. Everything was just...okay. The setting was nice, it's quirky and it has it's own style. The bar looked nice, but I probably got more smiles from other guests than I did from staff. We stayed for 3 nights over the weekend from Friday - Monday and the plan was to be out most of the time and that the place we chose to rest, after a busy day of walking and sightseeing, was comfortable. Did it do that... yes, but I wonder where else I could have stayed and gotten that with maybe a bit more charisma...
The beds were comfortable however not really practical, the layout is different and again I wasn't opposed to that, I just wasn't sure it was the best use of space.
The room is hot and the air con wasn't working, so we kept the window open but the streets are loud from 6 onwards. The next night we kept it shut and just put up with the heat, it's not unbearable it's just not extremely comfortable.
Aside from the toilet light and the 2 behind the bed, the room lights are all on one circuit so you have to turn them all on just to use the shower with a light - which you need to do because it's a tiny cubicle built in to the wall. So whilst my partner was sleeping and I didn't want to wake him I had to leave the door open to see what I was doing which just made the floor wet.
It just seems like it's trying to be different and stylish when really it could just be simple.
They offer what appears to be a mini fridge in the room with some water- that isn't cold so it's just a cupboard really.
The bar was advertised as being open until midnight (clearly stated in the hotel information that you find in the room) yet you turn up at 11.45 and it's 'closed'. It's just lots of little things that build up and start to annoy you.
We didn't eat breakfast as we thought we should eat at some of Paris's amazing bakeries, which we did and there is one right across the street. I'm sure it might have been nice, but again, I'm sure it would have been expensive and not the quality it says it should be.
One night we did manage a drink at the bar and again I appreciate it's a hotel bar but 2 whiskies were nearly 50 euros and although they offer cocktails on their menu they can't provide you with any of the classics.
All in all, it's okay. It's nothing to write home about, I probably wouldn't stay again and I probably wouldn't recommend. We had a good deal on hotels.com for the price however you really don't get 4 Star Vibe so I'm not sure if it's worth it.

The concept, design, and atmosphere of this hotel are primarily oriented toward a younger clientele. We’re sharing our perspective as a couple in our 50s who still consider ourselves young at heart.
The Positives:
• The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed. • There’s a fantastic large pool, which was heated even in early October. • on-site parking. • The gym looked promising, although we didn’t try it.
The Negatives:
• We had been assured that our room on the first floor would be quiet. Although our room was not facing the restaurant garden, there was noise from a DJ until 11:30 PM. • The hotel overall was quite noisy, with mechanical sounds emanating from various sources. • Unfortunately, both dinner and breakfast (on two occasions) fell below our expectations. The effort was there, but the execution did not quite meet our mark.

Super hotel. Really quite funky in design but so tastefully decorated. The staff are really welcoming and knowledgeable. We had a suite with terrace and the room was really spacious and well designed. 4th floor so quiet and a glimpse view of Sacre Coeur as a bonus. We had breakfast each day and that was very nice. A continental with added sausage and scrambled egg. We also ate in the Feuille Chou restaurant downstairs. The food was lovely and again the staff were attentive. We used Uber to get everywhere. Average 25 minutes and 20-30 euros per ride. Also spent some time visiting the flea market which was interesting. Lots of stalls and shops selling a variety of things. See my other reviews for other things to do and places to eat. Overall, we would definitely stay again.

Second night of issues at Mob House hotel in Paris. Booked 2 suites for 3 nights for 3 people per room with extra beds provided (one adult each and twin 16 year old daughters) . First night no extra bed in either room as paid for. Got given another room with assurance that the extra beds would be provided in each room the following day. However, one of the new rooms provided did not have a duvet resulting in another trip to reception which by now is 1am. We then discovered that the rooms were interconnecting and were in fact not locked!
Just got back to the hotel to find one room does indeed have an extra bed but the other does not. The narrow sofa has been given a sheet and a pillow but no duvet. Offered another room again which means not being with my daughters and living out of the suitcase as well as having to vacate the room first thing tomorrow morning. Upon going to the new room, I found it occupied by another lady who was rightly petrified when I walked in. You couldn’t make this up. I have told my children to ensure their door is locked so no-one can walk in on them.
This trip was to be away over the anniversary of my husband’s death tomorrow and to spend some quality time with my children. Not the way I wanted to spend it. Very disappointed. Booked through Mr and Mrs Smith and would definitely not recommend. Additionally, if you arrive too late (even if the bar is open) don’t expect the Mr and Mrs Smith cocktail.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It is nothing like how it is described or appears in the photos. The staff showed a shocking lack of concern for guests' needs, which is deeply worrying. To make matters worse, they charged me €100 after I left, despite repeatedly assuring me that my credit card was only taken as a warranty and no damages or outstanding amounts existed.
The room was unbearable, consistently at 30 degrees, and we were only given fans at 2:30 a.m. after requesting them much earlier. We couldn’t safely leave the windows open due to a significant drop outside. The bathroom smelled like rotten water, and despite reporting it, nothing was done.
The staff’s response to every issue was indifferent. At one point, I accidentally broke a glass of bottled water (the only option provided) and was told it would not be replaced. I had to go to reception in my nightwear to get water, and shards of glass were left behind even after the area was supposedly cleaned.
Both my friend and I felt unwell during our stay, likely due to the stifling conditions in the room. To make matters even worse, I reached out to the hotel afterward expecting some form of compensation that I am completely entitled to, yet I received no response after an entire week. This is incredibly concerning and further highlights their lack of accountability.
Overall, this hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in during my travels worldwide. I urge others to avoid this hotel, and I strongly believe compensation is deserved for this disastrous experience.

Sublime setting nestled in the heart of the city, the decoration is made with great taste, the place gives off a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. Unfortunately all this is ruined by the service, lamentable, and certainly not up to a 4 star rating. We arrived, 30 people were waiting for the check-in for 2 receptionists lost, and really not practiced. After waiting 40 minutes, when it was finally our turn, the receptionist slipped away justifying having to go “check something in a room”. The pool is crowded, the deck is narrow and only has about 15 deckchairs for the entire Inn. No clean towels available, we had to wait for them 30 minutes. Salle de Gym, highlighted in all coms of the Pension, closed and under construction. This is not mentioned on the Reservation or on the website. Breakfast is a disaster, I invite you to look at the photos that speak for themselves. The Pension was far from complete and yet everything was empty: more fruit, more bread, more brioche, 2 poor slices of cold cuts fighting in a duel. More plates to serve, more drinks... we were able to enjoy a bowl of muesli, we might as well stay at home. During check-out we are cashed without even wondering how it went. Very revealing of the importance given to the customer, namely none.

Very unwelcoming service. Not the slightest gesture for my daughter's birthday even though they were warned and it was clearly reported. Not the slightest gesture. Nonchalant bar staff. We are told a breakfast for children at half price, so in the morning everyone goes to breakfast and then charges double... for 4 children who eat almost nothing. The gym is not up to standard, but really. The cooks stare at you, talk about their problems in front of the customers. No response to my email. Very hot in the rooms.

I have lunch at this restaurant being nearby between 2 meetings. An affordable menu with organic ingredients.
The atmosphere is very nice, NY loft style, and the staff is welcoming.
I recommend this restaurant to enjoy a healthy meal in a place that makes you "get out" of Paris without going broke. An address not to be missed!

3rd stay at the Mob House where life is sweet. This atypical establishment is ideal for coming alone, with friends or as a couple. We feel good there. I had the chance to discover and enjoy this wonderful place as a single person, then with a friend and finally - last weekend - with my partner with whom we celebrated the anniversary of our meeting. The Mob House was ideal for making this weekend of romantic celebration a magical moment. Magnificent and green, the setting is calming and offers a bubble of sweetness to the lucky residents. The swimming pool is fantastic. In this hotel, all materials are carefully chosen and create a delightful atmosphere. The spacious rooms smell of wood, the washed concrete walls are very soft, the tiles and terracotta bricks (all unique). The decoration is neat. The marble in the bathroom lets the light pass through. The huge terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Sacré Cœur. Interior and exterior are bathed in light. The Mob House is definitely a place where softness and voluptuousness reign. The reception has a lot to do with it. I would like to thank by name the friendly and smiling young man who welcomed us upon our arrival (but I don't know his name), the whole team and particularly Tifo (whose first name I am - pretty sure - I scratch) and which brings warmth and conviviality to this fabulous establishment. THANKS. Thanks to the team, we will return again and hopefully - more often - to the Mob House.

Fantastic stay at the MOB house - staff were very welcoming, rooms are well set up and the food was fantastic.
Loved the outdoor space, he pool area was well kept. They could do with a few more loungers, we had to go down early to make sure we got a seat.
Only downer was check out day! We were told we were allowed to use the facilities as we were flying back to the UK at 5pm so asked to use the pool until 3pm. We checked out of our room at noon and were then told to use the pool it is 25 euro per person per hour - a bit disappointing
