Check in took twenty minutes, only one guy at the reception doing his best, but with 7 people ahead of me... the “Bon Voy” desk sadly empty- should I have shouted loud my status ? reception staff walking behind decided that greeting with a smile was sufficient. Given the situation I understand cost reduction but at 18.00 is check-in peak time. I asked for a room with a window which could be fully opened and Konstantin at the reception was very kind to accommodate my request. Room definitely not my style but this is personal, what it is not just a personal opinion is the crazy lightning system and the fact that was impossible to get the room dark from outside light. No curtain. As said by others, tea/coffee facility quite demanding to use, again style over functionality. Shower was good though and my room facing the back was in the end quite large and very quiet.
What really annoyed me was the restaurant- very expensive and quite bad food to my taste (had dinner twice). The road behind the hotel has three restaurants at walking distance, my suggestion is to eat out. Breakfast on the contrary was OK.

We stayed here for 2 nights before flying out of Zurich airport due to its location (it’s a 6 minute drive to the airport and a short walk to Oerliken-Ost station where you can take the train to the airport). The hotel itself is very elegant and modern with quirky decor. Our room was very nice and comfortable (albeit a bit too dark) but what really disappointed me most was the lack of thoroughness when it came to prepping the room. The room was still a bit untidy when we first got in and there were traces of feces on the toilet bowl. I was tempted to call and ask for another room but we were too tired to budge. Another thing that we found disappointing was when no one picked up the phone when we tried to contact Room Service. We left a voice mail and no one returned our call. Thankfully, I called reception to ask why no one was able to help us with our order. The gentleman who took my call (Konstantin) kindly took our order and processed it for us.
Gripes aside, the hotel is a worthy 4 out of 5. Breakfast was excellent - there were lots of choices. Parking is also available for 37 CHF a night. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Our recent stay at Kameha Grand in Zuerich was absolutely wonderful. We stayed at a chocolate-inspired room where you can watch the TV while in the bathtub with just a little push of a sliding door.The beds were comfortable with 2 pillows and the mini bar was adequate. An iron and iron board were available as well as hairdryer and coffee machine. The bathroom had a LED magnifying mirror and the amenities were standard. The cleanliness, courtesy of staffs, comfort and style matches their 5 star rating. We skipped the spa because of corona restrictions but the breakfast was superb. Highly recommendable.

Over styled decor leads to a loss of functionality here. We often stay at Autograph Collection hotels, they almost never disappoint, but this was the exception. We only stayed one night and were thankful for that. The room was very strange. When staff came to help us with the hot pot for coffee, I asked what the design of the room was supposed to be, the very dark walls, very ugly huge safe, safe type handles on the walls of the room. They said it was supposed to be a chocolate bar. Oh...but what about lighting? We asked for help with the lighting so that we could see in the room, trying to find things in our suitcases, and the very nice staff person could not figure out how to make more light in the room and said that if she could find a lamp she would bring it. Evidently she could not find one. The room had a very nice and large tub, and a nice separate shower, but seriously, who would put large mirrors all around the toilet cubicle? Very odd. The lighting around the bathroom mirror was good but the bath and bedroom were almost entirely black and this made for a very depressing room. Our room was very clean but we had to find more towels, only 1 put in the room, and coffee supplies. The housekeeper was very nice and came in to show us where they were but they weren't there. Staff was very nice, this is just a very strange hotel. As I said, no one checked to see if the design features were actually practical before they spent A LOT of money to build this hotel. The room had floor to ceiling windows down the entire length of one wall with blinds inside the windows which we assumed were controlled remotely but we could not figure out how to do it. Again, very expensive. The hotel was not far from the airport, a 10 min taxi ride at most, and very near the tram line. The staff was helpful to point out the tram line and it was very convenient to get to the city center. Staff was also helpful in getting adapters for us.

This hotel is nothing like a 5* hotel.
1. When we entered our room, everything was dirty and in a mess from the previous clients. The cleaning service had forgotten to clean the room before we arrive. After this, the stuff in the lobby gave us another room, but when we tried to enter, someone else was staying in.
2. The rooms are very dark and the pillows/mattress are of the worst quality. There was not even enough space for our suitcase.
3. The cleaning service doesn’t clean the room unless you pay extra money in the already high price (about 200€/night).
3. As for the breakfast, even a 2* hotel offers food of higher quality.
4. The restaurant of the hotel is just OK, but not something great.
5. The location is not good. The centre of the city is far away and the hotel does not offer any shuttle service.
I would absolutely not pay such a lot of money in order to stay in this dirty and bad taste hotel.

Basically it has become a replacement for the currently closed bars and clubs. Late teens and twenty-somethings rent out the suites to host (quite loud) parties. This spills out into the hallways which have an impact on other guests.
Passing guests in the hall asked if I had any weed (twice). It's true the hotel can't stop other guests from what they say, but it's worth noting what the "crowd" has become. Note the hotel does not have on site security on weekend evenings/nights.
As a final bonus, rooms are not well kept. Broken equipment, curtains torn (see picture), etc.
If you are looking for quiet, are female traveling alone, or with your family then I would strongly suggest you look for alternatives, especially on weekends.

Travelled to Zurich for work and stayed in Kameha as it’s part of the Marriott group. The hotel is surprisingly big and quite close to multiple tram lines that take you to the centre of Zurich.
The decoration of the rooms it’s quite over the top but still cozy.
The breakfast even if pricey (like everything else in Switzerland) is quite varied and big.
On the flip side I wished there was a sitting area by the reception where you can chill while waiting for someone and found the gym a bit sloppy - not many options, a bit disappointing.

The location of the Kameha Grand Zurich is extremely convenient, with multiple dining options in the area and public transportation at hand.
The property being fairly new, it is much better than the competition in this particular area with clean rooms. But it is about as far as it gets.
Check in process is consistently bad. Each and every time I’ve stayed at the property I had to wait longer than needed and checkin staff is less than welcoming. Looks like a Kameha thing because others properties in the vicinity where I used to stay always had a charming staff.
Still, the rooms are very comfortable except during summer when they tend to get extremely hot with no or little AC (can’t believe a recent property doesn’t have decent AC, so cheap management might be trying to save $$ here on the energy bill, to bad it is for guests discomfort).
Breakfast is ok but subpar compared to other Autograph properties.

This is my second time staying here. I love this property! It is a very cool, boutique style hotel. The rooms are very cool, with lots of attention to detail put into the design. The lights have different settings based on the time of day. Room service is very good and breakfast in the morning is probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had.
I have noticed, though, that the quality and maintenance of the property is slowly declining. So is their service. Nobody was very welcoming. I called Room Service, and somebody answered with "Hello?" If you call reception, expect the phone to ring, ring, and go to voicemail. Both stays, it took a while to reach somebody on the phone.
Overall, it is a unique yet surprisingly affordable place to stay close to the airport. I would stay here again, but hope they maintain the property and step up their customer service.

Our last night here in Switzerland and we opted for this hotel which is close to the airport. As Ambassador Elite members of Marriott, we were upgraded to the King Kameha Suite in room 888. Nice suite with black features, a beautiful mirrored bathroom, and roomy shower for two, Nice dining room and spacious living room. The bed was comfy and extra space is key.
Nice bar and restaurant area where we lounged for one night with a few drinks.
Nice empty spa on the 5th floor except for one couple in the coed steam room. Also with a coed 60 degree and a 90 degree sauna, Open showers where there are no doors. This is also a textile free zone with a sign on the wall where no bathing suits are allowed in the spa. Just a tile to sit on is sufficient. Nice and refreshing experience for a few minutes!!!
Sun deck and relaxing area when the weather is right.
Overall nice quiet area, looks like office and business zoned. We enjoyed our restful stay!!!

I had the breakfast included and as I had early check-out the hotel staff provided me dry breakfast
Hello Trinigirl, thank you very much for reaching out to us. The Premium Rooms feature a shower, in all other room types you'll be able to enjoy both, a rainforest shower and a stunning standalone bathtub from which you may watch TV.
Yes of course they have a health n fitness center!
No, the hotel does not but the train to the airport is one block away and only takes about 15 minutes.
