We arrived at Zurich airport after flying from NZ - once we had cleared customs we saw the HotelBus sign & the Movenpick shuttle was kerbside ( no charge). Easy 5 minute drive to the hotel. Straight forward check in with a friendly smile & service. We had prepaid for two family rooms for our family of 5. The rooms had two queen beds in them however after viewing the rooms we asked for a trundler bed & more pillows which were provided at no extra charge while we had dinner in the hotel. The reason we did this is the size of the beds - my husband & I were not keen to share a queen bed after flying for 24 hours, the queen bed seemed a lot smaller than what we would call a queen in NZ. The staff were very accomodating to our request. Dinner in the hotel was yummy & quick. Very quiet area so a restful sleep. Next morning we paid the local tax & the airport shuttle was ready to go so we had no wait time.
Overall a great experience, friendly & efficient staff, we would stay here again if we were in transit overnight.

Super close to the airport and with an excellent free shuttle service. Reception and bar staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming (and the bar was pretty good), there were free coffees and croissants for those with early flights and the rooms were very clean and quiet and had everything you needed. Spot on.

My wife and I booked the Petit Chef Dinner including one night at the hotel. This review covers therefore the dinner and the hotel:
Dinner: It was a cute 3D show that was entertaining but the music can start to get rather annoying after a while. The food was ok, but for what you pay (CHF 160 and CHF 190 for the different set menus), the price was a bit steep. At least 4 of the tables had issue with their projection of the 3D which they could not resolve the whole evening. I had my issues with the matching wine selection. For wine matching dinners I went to in the past, I am used to get a glass of wine, chosen by the chef & sommelier, that matches the course. Here we were given the choice of two whites and two reds. It is hard to pick a wine when you do not have the food in front of you...also there was no desert wine and we did not have a chance to order coffee for our deserts. It seems that staff were quite busy. Also when we paid, we were not even asked if we enjoyed the meal, it felt a bit factory like. For CHF 434 for 2 people you could expect more.
Hotel: First we waited for about 5 minutes at the check in counter as nobody was there. We then approached the restaurant and they managed to get us checked in. The rooms are standard, but the hotel is located quite close to the highway, so you have to be prepared for that constant noise. What really upset us, was that the bin in the bathroom was not emptied. It was full with tissues and a banana peel. The little bottle of shampoo was clumped up like old milk and couldn't be used. At least they had this big shampoo dispenser as well. At check out, we were just asked our room number and again no question on how our stay was.
Both, the restaurant and the hotel seemed to avoid to get some candid feedback.
It was not all bad, that's why I still give 3 stars. Some more attention to your customers would already have changed a lot.

Upon arrival there were 3 staff members at the desk but only one was actually checking people in, the other two were busy taping balloons to the wall and on the phone. Eventually one decided to focus in the customers in front of them.... the rooms are dated, the bathrooms are moldy and in need of deep cleaning. Went to the restaurant and waited a good 8 minutes before someone came to seat us. We ordered the child’s dinner first and asked to have it delivered first .... after 28 minutes of waiting they brought out ALL the food together. Needless to say the child wasn’t a happy camper but was a very hungry child. Food was ok the best thing was the soup. We wanted to try the ice cream since that’s what they’re known for but dinner took too long and we didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes for dessert when it was already almost 10pm!

NO HEAT hotel, 4 star hotel no heat. The blanket is over 100 years old, if you look at inside you can see its yellow trash inside the blanket. They tried to charge everyone at front when you check in because they know everyone will super disappointed the room. Outside looks so nice. Inside is worst, motel will be better than this 4 star hotel. I don’t understand how 4 star can be rate for this ghost hotel. Check out your room before check in.

I made a booking at this hotel in error, less than 24 hours ago. I spoke to the hotel on the phone this morning and the person I spoke to was instantly abrupt and refused to refund the one night stay. At least in Australia (where I am from), companies have to allow a reasonable cooling off period for bookings (for example 24 hours) in case of error etc.
Considering I am a Diamond Accor Plus member and spend tens of thousands of dollars a year with Accor, I am very surprised at the way I was treated.
I have booked at an alternate Accor hotel for the exact same night so am paying double for the same night now.
I am very disappointed by the rude manner in which I was spoken to on the phone and the unwillingness to help.
Considering I am a Diamond Accor Plus member and spend tens of thousands of dollars a year with Accor, I am very surprised at the way I was treated.

Excellent overnight stay - we live in Switzerland but wanted to stay at the airport as we were flying off early the following day and it makes travelling much more comfortable. Checked in late, my Accor Status was recognized and I got an appropriate upgrade, the front desk people are lovely and happy to help. The room is spacious and clean. There is no walk in shower but the bathtub is comfortable enough to shower in. Strangely, the TV set will not recognize your hard drive if you wanna watch a movie despite having an USB connectivity - which happens often in Accor hotels and which I find strange. Otherwise everything was perfect. There is a shuttle 4 times an hour to take you to and from the airport - well organised and convenient. Definitely recommended.

I was very happy with this hotel. The quality of the beds and facilities were excellent. I considered other options near the airport but comparing to "cabin" hotels with shared facilities, Movenpick was way better and well priced if you compare what you get with the cheaper options.
It is very near to the airport... maybe about 20min walk. Taxi is about 20 CHF and the Shuttle service is 17CHF. The shuttle service worked very well. it was onetime at the hotel and in the two trips where we stayed at this hotel, on arrival at the airport we always found a shuttle bus ready to depart.
I tried once the restaurant. the burger was very good.
