Despite its convenient location near the city center, Radisson Hotel & Suites Zurich falls short for many travelers on value, with complaints about overpriced services and hidden costs. Guests have called out the hotel for its lackluster cleanliness and service, including slow responses and inconsistent housekeeping.
While the modern interiors and spacious rooms are a plus, the overall atmosphere receives mixed reviews, and the amenities, including breakfast options and in-room features, often leave guests wanting more.

Detailed Reviews
Stayed here in June 2023 as a couple in the now called Radisson Hotel and Suites, Zurich. About 10 minutes by Tram from the Zurich Airport and 25 minutes to Zurich City Centre. Two Tram stations right outside the hotel at a 2 min walk (lines 10,12 and then 11). We reached towards late afternoon and were able to check-in on their self check-in kiosks which were a little slow. Assistance was available from the receptionist as there were quite a few folks checking in. We had opted for a Superior Studio Suite which was allotted on the ground floor. We created our own key cards during the procedure made the payment, collected the wifi codes and headed to our room.
A nice, large room with a decent sized bathroom, kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave, cutlery, crockery, ironing board and basic toiletries (toilet paper, towels, napkins and shampoo/body wash). However, there was no daily housekeeping/replenishment even though we stayed 6N which was the only let down as they do it only once a week. Washing machines were available at an extra cost.
Since it was summer in Zurich, we definitely needed the AC but was just about ok, not really great cooling so had to keep it on for a long time to cool down. Buffet Breakfast was average, multiple items but lacked taste however this only restaurant on site "Luigio" is always full for Lunch/Dinner. Service in the restaurant was also average and lacked replenishing of items at times. Definitely something that can be improved upon considering mornings would usually be a rush, due to folks heading for tours.
Overall, a decent stay and would recommend staying here as this was just fine in many ways with not much value for money considering Zurich! Thank you Radisson, but you can do better for this one after the recent takeover and match this up to the standards of other Radisson Hotels quickly!

This hotel was our choice for a 2night stay after 4 nights in Grindewald. We chose it due to its close proximity to the venue we were visiting for a gig and also the airport for our return flight home. It was one of the best priced in the area and literally 2 mins from the tram stop. This made it a no brainer for us as to which hotel to choose.
Point 1 - Check in is gimmicky/over cooked with self check in technology that isn’t reliable. It was slow, complicated and I ended up having to seek support from reception. Around 20 mins later we were checked in! Thankfully the staff are friendly and helpful or I would have already been regretting my choices!
You have to activate your own room key which is a stack of cards beside the check in iPad. Never had to do this before and it wasn’t clear. You also have to settle your city tax here and it unfortunately does it per individual so you have to revisit the screen multiple times and pay multiple times depending on how many people are staying. Again not a problem but it’s not clear and it’s slow.
Rooms are pretty modern and plenty of power supply points.
Our sink plug was broken so it wouldn’t release water. The room was pretty dusty too and we were missing simple things like 2 mugs in the room for a 2 person room.
There is a restaurant in the hotel, Luigi’s Italian. Really convenient for a late check in but beware you will pay £100 for 2 pizzas and 2 cocktails each, pretty much the same price as anywhere else in Switzerland though! Food was good, cocktails nice and service was good too even when they were very busy!
Overall a really convenient hotel for our stay, I wouldn’t choose it for a long stay but short visit it’s ideal.
What it lacks is human interaction as everything is self service so can make your stay feel a little cold if your used to that. It makes up for it in convenience and friendly staff who are available if you do need help!

This hotel does not have single beds and the duvets are shared duvets. The beds are queen-size and even if you order a king-size and are a VIP member at Radisson, you get a queen-size with a duvet (but you might get a nice corner room). It's not very good.
Check-in is completely impersonal and takes place at 4 machines (so remember your booking number - you will need it). And the temperature in the room cannot be adjusted, but the aircon works fine. The breakfast is chaotic and with only 1 coffee machine the queue was long. The cleaning was not quite sharp in several areas.
The location works really well and public transport is everywhere. Easy to get to the airport and to move on. The hotel's restaurant is popular, but the area has many good options. It can really work if you are there on a business trip. As a hotel for couples... only when the beds have been changed.

Initially booked a week, stayed for 4 months, everything you need when away on business, I had a nice ground floor apartment with access to a central garden with own space for alfresco. Small kitchenette, nice shower room, great internet and cable tv. Apartment was serviced once a week with fresh bedding and towels but if you want you can ask for more towels etc… Wash room with washer/dryer at a reasonable price via an app. Supermarkets either side , transport hub local and if you need it which I did underground parking at a very reasonable price , and now the team, all professional and great personalities but a big shout out to Penny who is a wonderful host.
Would highly recommend.

I was only supposed to be staying for one week as it was a business trip & the accommodation wasn't in the region I was working in but I liked it so much I stayed for 4 months! It has everything you need apart from an oven. Modern ground floor apartment, nice bathroom, small kitchen & a lovely terrace onto a courtyard garden. Underground parking, a gym, laundry facilities via an app & two supermarkets very close by.
The rooms are cleaned once a week but the staff are so helpful I'm sure you could get extra towels etc if needed. Great staff that are friendly & helpful especially Don, Penny & Olivia. I would definitely stay again & would highly recommend for either a short or long stay.

**Hotel Review: Absolutely Terrible Experience**
I recently stayed at this hotel in Zurich for 5 days and 4 nights in a premium room, expecting a level of service that matches the premium price. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
First and foremost, the room was not cleaned once during our entire stay. The floors were never vacuumed, the bedspreads were never changed, and the coffee and sugar were never refilled. For a room booked for three people, we were only provided with two towels, which is unacceptable, especially when we were charged for three people.
I complained twice to the reception about these issues. The first time, they took my complaint, but nothing changed when we returned to our room that evening. On Thursday, July 4th at 8 PM, I approached the reception again and spoke to a lady who claimed the room was supposed to be cleaned. When I explained that it wasn't, she told me that guests need to request cleaning at the reception. This was shocking, as I had already complained twice. She then said that the coffee and sugar do not get refilled, which is ridiculous. I pointed out that the dishwashing liquid was refilled every day, so why not the coffee, tea, or sugar? She did not take my complaint seriously, nor did she apologise for the inconvenience.
This hotel's service is disgraceful. There are plenty of staff members at the reception, yet the service is well below par. I would advise anyone considering this hotel to avoid it at all costs. You would be better off staying in a serviced apartment where you receive the service you pay for.
Check in and I paid for the stay , they didn't provide me with an invoice and print out a receipt for me.
I will give this hotel 1 star, and that's only because I can't give it zero. Horrible services, terrible management, and a complete disregard for guest satisfaction. Avoid this hotel at any case.

We went to Zürich to meet with good old friends, and we chose this hotel based on its very convenient location, and the fact that we could have a room equipped with a kitchenette to prepare meals, and a small living room to invite some guests.
From this hotel, you can get to the city center in under 30 minutes, and reach the airport in about 15 minutes.
The staff is helpful and polite.
When I visit Zürich in the future, I will definitely look forward to stay at this hotel again!

The hotel is not far from the airport (about 10 minutes by tram). It is nevertheless very quiet, and you can hardly hear any aircraft noise in the rooms. Bathrooms are bright and spacious. Breakfast offers a comprehensive buffet.
It only takes 15-20 minutes to get into the city by tram.

Brand new hotel, specially for people who do not like to interact with other human beings. Check-in is done with a self check in device, you almost see no staff walking around. Rooms are nice, modern with kitchenette. I did not feel at ease, as it seemed that I was all alone in this rather large hotel, which was of course nonsense, but as I did not see a single face during my stay, it was rather spooky. Defenetly I preder human interaction than being exposed to a machine...
