Hotel St Julian's Mistral Affiliated by Meliá is located in the centre of St Julian's, on a quiet street just a short walk from a great choice of bars, restaurants and leisure facilities and also close to the beach. It is a newly built hotel with all the comforts you need to enjoy your stay in Malta. The rooftop terrace on the 10th floor features an outdoor pool and bar and can also host events with views of the city. The rooms provide a balcony and are equipped with high-tech services for staying connected such as high-speed Wi-Fi or a Smart TV. The Mistral breakfast room serves a continental breakfast as well as a choice of fresh, local products. The hotel ensures comfort and functionality during your stay, together with the St Julian's Scirocco Affiliated by Meliá and St Julian's Levante Affiliated by Meliá hotels with which it forms a group. A convenient location and state-of-the-art facilities make this hotel a great choice for your holidays in Malta. Pets are allowed for an extra charge The Gym will be available from 01.03.24 The Rooftop is seasonal and will be closed until April.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The hotel complies with simplicity and provides basic accomodation with nothing extra. However it offers a good sleep. Everything is new and polished, the rooms are spacious with a nice balcony and a huge bathroom with a lot of empty space, which could be filled with shelves or other elements for more functionality. All in all, for the price paid, I wouldn't really complain. The staff were all positive, natural, friendly and familiar, respectful and smiling. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything with joy. With their attitude they illuminated my stay, spoiled by strong winds and rain. Special thanks to Alejandra, and of course to Sergio, he made more than it was expected. Although I always stay at 4 or 5* hotels, I was positively surprised by this small property and overall experience. Due to the almost dead season, the prices are really low and the area is rather empty, with many construction works nearby and shut down shops. It is yet to be seen, how everything works during peak season.

from our first day to the last we enjoyed staying at the hotel. we as a couple went for the nightlife and site seeing, the hotel was at the perfect location 5 mins away from Paceville with buses at the end of the streets and plenty of shops all around. the staff Alejandra who checked us in early and Ivan who helped us with the room locker I would like to thank you so much from the bottom of my heart you guys made our stay brilliant, a credit to the hotel. we requested a top floor prior to out arrival and it was all taken care of the rooftop pool is a bonus. we will definitely be returning again soon.

Very friendly staff, central location, which has advantages and disadvantages (bus station, harbor, restaurant, party mile (construction work and party guests were a bit disruptive at night)). Breakfast in the hotel was OK, but it was a shame that there was no fresh coffee or juice. The roof terrace with pool and bar was very nice to relax your legs after a long day and enjoy the last rays of sunshine with an aperitif. The rooms are nice, but the bathroom lacks some storage space. However, the water pressure in the shower was great, which is not the case in many places. Last minute booking days before travelling (24-31 October 2024).
Great to see a hotel fully matches pictures on all sites. Walked into reception on arrival to be met by two smiling friendly and welcoming staff on front desk (Vanessa & lovely lady can’t recall name from I think Lithuania). Both giving advice on hotel and surrounding areas.
Room spotless, fresh and extremely comfortable (cleaners daily but they don’t mind you leaving DND on door). Breakfast fully stocked and (free) tea/coffee machine available also 24/7.
All other staff very friendly and welcoming each time you leave and return during the day and night.
Locality to St Julian’s and Malta perfect - bus stop (for all routes) bottom of road, Bolt taxis, tour trips and access to harbour.
Leaving and Vanessa on desk again helpful and friendly (hope she has good trip back home for family wedding 🙂).
My partner and I will definitely visit again (and recommending to family and friends).

The facilities are very good. The cleaning of the bathroom is very poor and the shower tray needs to be replaced, which accumulates having never been thoroughly cleaned. The floor is also dirty. The bathroom is very small. In the rooms that face close to the streets, you cannot rest until 2 in the morning. Very attentive at reception. Good pool with views. There are surprises courtesy of the hotel. It is in the heart of St Julians. Pretty good buffet breakfast. They try to give a very good image but you have to take more care of something else.

Very new hotel so the decoration and distribution is pleasant, simple but functional. The best thing about the establishment is the attention of the staff. Relatively easy to park in the area, although there is no parking. The breakfast could very well be improved, I do not recommend it: powdered juice, coffee from a vending machine, 1 type of cheese and 2 low quality sausages...which are also not replenished when finished. Very small pool but nice for a swim. Double room with amenities for 1 person. Much improvement in the details, but correct.

Excellent hotel in a great location near to all amenities. Rooms are new and cleaned to a very high standard each day. Staff are very welcoming and are very helpful. Special thanks to Inrs for being so helpful on my stay. Also, thanks to Iuan, Alejandra, Gazmir, Paul and VJ who were all very polite and happy to help with all my needs. Nice selection at breakfast to accommodate all my requirements. Overall highly recommended as the staff are great and it's in a perfect location to dine, drink and explore other areas. Public transport is around 200 metres away and very easy and cheap to use.

I stayed at this property on the occasion of Birthday of My partner! The structure is central for visiting Sant Julian in Malta! At the Reception were always attentive and very kind for any doubts or needs! The room always Ready and clean. We also found a pleasant surprise with cake in the room for Birthday, thought a lot Appreciated! The breakfast offers sweet and savory, it's not much Abundant but varied everything One note the room is not much Well soundproofed, being central you can hear a lot Maltese Nightlife! I highly recommend for A weekend maybe as a couple!! The Melia guarantee is always felt!!!

Holiday organized at the last minute and we couldn't have chosen better. We are the Sicilian girls who missed the return catamaran 😅 and this gave us further confirmation of the kindness and availability of the staff who immediately made sure to make us feel at ease. 5 star cleanliness and comfort, strategic location, you are in Peaceville on foot. The location is perfect minutes away from the party zone of st Julian as well as the port which is buzzing with restaurants . The staff are friendly they went above beyond in all aspects for me and my friend on holiday. Special mention to Gazmir ,Vanessa , Ines & Ivan . There was another night guy can’t recall his name all amazing people. Big thank to Tanya amazing housekeeper she was warm & friendly and went above and beyond for us so thank you . The room was cozy , comfortable, I would certainly come back to Mistral not just to visit Malta but because the staff were amazing . I have travelled and travel all around the world as travel blog as well on the side , I have Stayed in some amazing 5 star hotels but I have to say the staff in Hotel Mistral being a 3 star hotel is one of the best I have encountered so far .
