The Green Grove is a delightful family-run guest house situated in the tranquil up-market residential area of Swieqi but just a five minute walk from Paceville in St. Julian's - the entertainment capital of Malta. The Green Grove's old-charm lounge, restaurant and bar areas, or even the front terrace, are an ideal base to relax while recharging your batteries for a day at the beach or an evening in town. A variety of entertainment options (clubs, pubs, restaurants, casino, bowling, cinema, shopping malls and more) are all just a stone throw away... not that you'd realise staying in the peaceful residential area that Green Grove is situated in. Facilities - 11 air-conditioned bedrooms (10 double & 1 single) - Pub-style Bar - A la carte restaurant - Lounge area - Free Wi-Fi - Optional transfers, taxis, guides, tours etc.. Recommended for people of all ages looking for a good-value and a charming family-run place to stay with a central but quiet location

We booked this place because of the cheap price, but at the end it totally exceeded our expectations. The guest house is in the good area - 10 minutes walking to the nightlife of St Julians, and 3-4 minutes walking to the nearest bus station from where you have good connections for the rest of the island. Maria is very kind and with a lot of usefull informations, she was verry helpfull.

I siply love this kind of accomodation in guesthouse. Family which run this house is so nice, friendly. Love it. Rooms and facilities are clean all the time, they care about their guest. Location is perfect, away from big hotel and bars but close (8 min) to the centre of Pacevile. Breakfast is wonderfull. You can ask whatever you want, fruits and vegetables included. Perfect. 100%.

Great few days with my mom and grandma. People who work there were helpful and offered us very nice breakfast. I already feel nostalgic. Location is really nice, close to the bus stop but in a quiet neighbourhood.

I was so impressed with my stay here. The room was very sweet with aircon, balcony, tv and a good sized room and lovely hot shower. Maria and Sean are absolutely lovely and they really welcome you. They are so helpful and attentive. Maria booked a boat trip for me, and my taxi to the airport. She was also great at explaining the area, directions and buses etc. The central location is great with a bus stop at the end of the road, and is within walking distance to St Georges bay and St Julians.

The breakfast was simple but copious, and the bar and terrace was lovely and welcoming. I will suggest this place to any friends who want to stay in Malta. They really make you feel at home.

First of all, what was positive: We were welcomed friendly and given useful informations about where to dine and to go. Nice staff, clean rooms and the hotel was quiet although it is very near to the "party-mile" of Paceville/ St. Julians. Free parking in front of the hotel. We choosed the Guest House because of the many good reviews in TripAdvisor, but were very disappointed, because this is not a B&B, but a family-run small hotel. The rooms a very small, with very outdated furnishing. Aircon and TV were working, but you couldn´t move the beds because they were screwed together with the wall, so the room could not be changed into a room with one kingsize bed. Worst of all was, that there was no door lock to the bathroom. You weren´t able to sit alone on the toilet, because the door always opened ! Breakfast was very average and loveless prepared as a buffet. Even upon request you couldn´get a warm egg or a cooked breakfast. Only two kinds of marmalade and toast and some sausage and cheese. Cheese was bought at LIDL (a food discounter). Only Nescafe with hot water or tea (from LIDL too). Orange juice with no taste. We had the feeling, that we were not really welcome and compared to other hotels it was by far overpriced. We will never go there again !

When you're looking for a good value and convenient place to stay in Malta then Green Grove is recommended. The rooms are clean and sufficiently comfortable for the price, with a small balcony. Breakfast is ok. The owners very much do their best to help you with your booking and requests. Wifi is very fast and good. And they can also offer food in their restaurant, which is tasty and good value. A drawback are the mosquitos - the windows have a mosquito net, but don't sleep with the door open, you get eaten alive! Also be aware that sound insulation is not very good if you have noisy neighbours (which I didn't fortunately!) - doors are very thin.

It was my first time going to Malta, so i wasn't really sure on where to stay. Spent hours looking at hotels & reading reviews but was not satisfied until I found this place. It was exactly what I was looking for a quiet and peaceful place. It is run by a close warm welcoming family. Who were very friendly. Advised where to go visit and what to see. The hotel overall clean and tidy. Room was clean and had air con. Sheets, bedding and towels were changed daily. Great value for money and recommend people to stay and visit.

Size of room was very good, nice bathroom, very clean. Owners were really very attentive and always worried about client's well being. One night we ate rabbit (typical Maltese dish) and it is really worth giving it a try because it was excellent. I really recommend thi place.

The Green Grove Guest House... I could not fault anything, the facilities provided were modern and well maintained. The tasteful decor in the public and private areas makes this a beautiful place to stay. The outdoor areas were relaxing and nicely landscaped. The whole exeperience was homely and welcoming, especially the friendly and lovely Grima family of Maria, Mark and Sean. Ideally located in a residential area, the guesthouse is close to bus stops and at the edge of St Julians. I liked everything about my stay, it was all to a very high standard. The best holiday accommodation I have stayed in. Most friendly and helpful people too. A very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated guesthouse. 10/10

I traveled with two other friends and we stayed there for 3 nights in a triple room.
- Rooms are clean, big and nice.
- Breakfast includes toast, cheese, ham, boiled egg, apple, banana, milk, yogurt and etc.
- Note: UK plug
- We had a car and parked our car on the street. Better check with the hotel if you can reach it by public transportation easily
- The landlords (Mom and Son) are very nice and helpful

Ciao! Il b&b dista 2 min a piedi dalla fermata bus. Quanto al mare, la distanza da percorrere è circa di 5-10 minuti a piedi. Può sembrare tanto ma è una passeggiata piacevole.
