I have to start of with that this is my go-to hotel at Gardermoen. Stayed here many times and normally I was happy. But special times make me look twice at things I would not think about any other time.
The staff at the reception was great, and make me give the extra point in the rating. Friendly, welcomming and helpful.
Where I only would give two points is the feeling of safety.
1. Room They state that the rooms are cleaned and desinfected and all the standard stuff all hotels write in 2020. But when I found old socks under the bed (I could see the sock without going on my knees), I started to desinfect all the stuff I put my hands on (light switches, night stand and so on). Unacseptable!
2. Breakfast They have a rule that only 10 people are allowed at the buffet at ny time. Nobody is controlling it and when I waited (ince there were 10 inside) someone behind me was a little bit irritated. But other gave a *** about it and just went in for moe bacon...
When I was in Germany, at every restaurant the tables were desinfected when guest left. Here nobody was even taking the plates after people left - for a long time. It is easy: People leave, take plates, desinfect table and chair - done. Unbelievable that this doesn't happen.
Compared to this what I would call "grave safety concerns" the fact that I was cooked in my room at a 23 degree theromstate setting that cannot be changed is a minor inconvinience.

Due to a flight diversion from Gothenburg to Oslo due to stormy weather in Gothenburg, we were offered one night here. And it was a pleasant stay. New, modern and fresh hotel. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Excellent breakfast.

Wow! We were pleasantly surprised by how modern this hotel was upon checking in. We were greeted by Jens, whom was fast, friendly, and efficient - and was a great resource for us during our 3 day stay. Jens is a true brand ambassador! Everything else was also fantastic, including the breakfast buffet. Delicious! We highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. We'll book again without hesitation.

Let's start with the positives: Nice rooms, basic but clean and well designed. Friendly staff. Good luck trying to make Chromecast work on the TV (got it to work about 50% of the time).
Then comes the food. Let's just say an economy class meal on Aeroflot would taste like a dinner at a 2 star Michelin restaurant in comparison. Bland, boring, without taste. For that alone I'm never going back.

Stayed at this hotel twice, before and after our trip to Svalbard with Hurtigruten (they booked the hotel for us). The shuttle bus to and from the airport is very easy to use (we missed the last bus because our flight was delayed and taxis were easy to arrange also). First room was a twin and overlooked the car park. It didn’t have tea/coffee making facilities but did have lots of plug sockets. Bathroom was quite small and there was a mirror in front of you when you were in the shower which I was not a fan of! The room was very warm but we arrived at around 1am and left again at 8am so just opened the window. Breakfast was lovely with a very large range to choose from. On our second visit we stayed in a newer feeling room that was a double. Much nicer bathroom which was a wet room sort of design with no bath. Still no tea/coffee making facilities though. This room was very warm too. On this trip we had a full day before our flight back to the UK and it was sunny so we went for a little explore and happened upon a lakeside country park sort of place through a forest trail called Nordbytjernet. There were toilets and a little kiosk selling ice creams, waffles, drinks and nachos. We went back to the hotel for lunch but none of the restaurants were open so we went to the 24 hour McDonalds that is on the other side of the motorway - a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is an Esso petrol station next door to the hotel also but we didn’t go inside. The shuttle bus service to/from the airport runs every half an hour but it doesn’t wait for the last flight to arrive like I read on a website somewhere. It was very efficient but does not hang around so make sure you are waiting outside the reception area before the time it is due.

Nice hotel with fresh, spacious rooms with super nice beds. The rooms are well soundproofed and you don't notice the proximity to the airport in terms of noise. There are regular shuttle buses to Gardemoen airport, which makes this a great hotel before or after your flight. The food in the social was good and that was positive as the range around is limited. The breakfast was also beyond expectation with a large selection with good variety. The gluten-free selection was also good. I rarely need an overnight stay at Gardemoen, but if this hotel were closer to my workplace or Oslo city center, I would have booked this regularly on my visits to Oslo!

This hotel is approx. 10 mins drive from Gardermoen airport. Even though there is a shuttle available I drove and parked my car in the hotel. Nice, clean and comfy. Reasonable price and quality breakfast with plenty options.
Suggestions - Bath towels were normal size. A bigger one would be better. Tea & coffee were available in the lounge and even though there was a price i was not been charged but having them in the room would be more comfortable. Pillows were square I rather prefer a rectangular, the standard one.

Went here to a convention/conference. The hotel is super nice, rooms and open spaces. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the lunch buffet was good.
However, always, when eating dinner at hotels like these, I am usually let down. The three-course meal was a bummer. I ate the vegetarian option and the staff did not even tell us what we would eat for the meals. My first course was some salad, balsamico, orange bits, and beetroots. The second was also a lot of beetroots, with potato and gyoza dumplings (?). The dessert was not great either. From what I've heard, the meat option was not great either. In my opinion, it was not badly cooked, but the meals and tastes were badly put together.
I feel sad to write such a bad review, but the conference dinner was not a great experience and pulled the overall experience down.

Hey Lake P. The distance from the Hotel to the Airport is 6 km. It´s the last stop with the shutle buss, so it takes only 6-8 minutes.
From the airport to the hotel it´s the 5th stop and that takes 15 minutes.
