You still get a smart salute from the front guard as you enter. It is always a nice time staying here to visit the family in Orong. The kids come down and swim in the pool (for a small fee), eat a delicious breakfast with us and witness the multiple weddings and celebrations. The staff are always polite and professional. Take advantage of the great room service menu offered. It satisfied my craving for a Club Sandwich with Coca Cola. Yum-ummm.

Pos: Have pools, friendly staff, near city but quiet, safe place, many food choices. Neg: Not so good cleaning of the rooms, spaces around doors and aircon so that mosquitos come in at night, but not a big problem. Need better cleaning of the water in the pools.

First night, they forgot to turn on the water in my shower. Called front desk and maintenance came to turn it on. Time to use it, the water heater is broken. Took a cold shower. Called front desk again the next day. Promised they will fix it. Came back to my room in the evening and still no one fixed the leaking, no hot water shower. I complained again and maintenance told them it’s broken. Front desk asked me to move to a different room and come back in 2 days. I said no because it’s a hassle going back and forth with my luggage. It took them an hr to fixed it. I thought my nightmare was over. The shower heater worked for a day. Called front desk again and after 45 mins still no one came. Called again and all they can say “I’m sorry ma’am. I will ask maintenance.”Mind me it’s 11pm already. An hr after still no one came. Don’t waste your money in this place. Go somewhere else.

We were a team from Manila & local office visiting two sugar plants on consecutive days & took a halt after the first days work at this hotel.

Very good hotel with an antique car in tip-top condition in the porch (must be the same car in one of the photo shoot of hotel website).

A stone's throw away is a good place for evening dinner if you want to unwind with some singing session. They can accomoate you quite late for a small town eatery.

The swimming pool seems popular with locals & visitors. Have an umbrella handy as you can get wet walking to & from for the breakfast. The ground floor rooms have private balconies if you want to enjoy your drink or smoke in open.

The hotel staff were efficient & with good service culture.

Will opt for it next time as well.

We stayed for 11 days in the second half of January 2012 and found the accommodation very comfortable. We chose a family room for extra space for family to stay with us. The room was very clean, tidy and fresh with air conditioning and plenty of hot water.

Room accommodation included satellite television, telephone system and Wi-Fi reception both in our room and around the grounds of the hotel.

We were able to take advantage of room service including ordering drinks and food from the restaurant menu throughout the day and evening. We also took advantage of the laundry and ironing service.

Outside the grounds are private, clean and tidy with ample parking, 2 swimming pools with changing facilities and restaurant and on site security. The restaurant has very good selection of food.

Zaycoland is ideal if you are staying for 2 nights or 2 weeks. The staffs are very helpful and friendly as are the locals of Kabankalan city.

Special thanks to Joy, Ethel, Giovanni and the rest of the staff for making our wedding blessing reception possible and most especially for making our stay fun and enjoyable.

The area is big, but with no atmospheres at all, we got a standard room, that cost 1500pesos without promo price, luckily I only pay 700 plus 100 pesos each for pool entrance, so total of 900pesos, but the room was dead, no frames on wall and a ugly concrete floor.
it get top dollar for silence, you couldnt sit outside the room also.
Kabankalan its a province city, so prices are too high for that hotel here.
everything u need to drink and eat in pool area u need to buy with them.

We were hoping to stay two nights but left after only one. The room was overpriced, mattress cover had disgusting white stains, sheets were dirty, no lounge chairs for tanning, no internet available, no coffee/tea in room, floors are cracked and very old, terrible balcony view. Suitable for barn animals only. Only positive is staff very friendly.

Zaycoland is not a 5 star hotel, but it is the best in Kabankalan. Positives are many: Comfortable rooms, great vistas, huges swimming pool, restaurant on site, secure. Negatives: room cleaning is only done when requested or when you leave, restaurant opens too late in the morning, the conference rooms and ball rooms are being used as a school with out 250 students, you must ride on a motorcycle from the bus station.
The staff was extrememly helpful and very nice. Everyone person there gets 5 stars.

There are no refrigerators in the rooms ! And breakfast is free of charge . Just make sure you fill out the breakfast ticket the night before at the front desk or when you check in . Cheers Erik
