I recently retired from working in the Hospitality Industry and was looking for a place to relax in comfort and peace. The Kandaya Resort is second to none when it comes to overall service and accommodations. The ocean view room was amazing and quiet with incredible views. The food and beverage and service was impeccable at their Restaurant. We had 2 spectacular dinners on the beach in a private setup. All of the staff go above and beyond to insure that your stay is amazing from F&B, Front Desk, HSKP and the amazing staff that care for the animals. A Big Thank you to Milamar, our server at the Restaurant, who always went above and beyond with great service to ensure that we had an amazing experience while staying at the Resort and traveling about in the area. Thank you to the entire Kandaya Team for also making our special occasion a memory we will cherish forever. See you again soon.…

Hotel's Favorite
Kandaya is a place to unwind away from the city. It has a very nice white sand beach. Its shoreline is long wherein you can walk liesurely. If one needs to relax, this is definitely one of the place where you can. It is quiet and peaceful. When it comes to the staff, all are friendly an helpful. My family and I definitely felt relaxed, and recharged after stressful weeks. PS: The sunrise and sunset is a plus.

Fantastic place with charming, polite and nice staff. Great restaurant with good Filipino food and a decent international menu. As a family of five we had one night on a Garden Pool villa and two nights in a bigger Sea Pool Villa. Both villas very nice, the sea pool villa a bit bigger than the other. Enjoyed bothered the private pool and the ocean swims. Good breakfast selection and good dinner. ATV was fun and the kids (12, 16,18) enjoyed paddle boards and kayaks. Great game room as well. All in all a great experience.

No wonder that this Hotel is the best in this town. Elegance, service is excellent, stuff is knowledgeable and friendly as well. everything was perfect . The most welcomed home experienced after being away In Philippines for 4 yrs. This hotel is outstanding. The employee name Mark gave us his outstanding service. Great job to all the stuffs as well.

Their hospitality touches my soul. The weather was bad when i was there, but I enjoyed my stay because of the friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. The food was great. I had fun at their kare-kare presentation. There were water sport activities too.

This was one of the best vacations we have had, the hotel is gorgeous, the staff was first class, food was excellent and the views all make us want to return! The resort is a bit off the beaten path, however this to me adds to its beauty. I recommend the round trip service to and from Cebu airport. We are from the US and are so thankful that they have this service it made us appreciate everything so much more. They offer a great variety of super drinks, both with or without alcohol, with nightly music and great bar! The staff all make you feel welcome! We went on the Boat excursion to an island and snorkeling, the whole family loved it and I recommend it!

Is this a good hotel? Yes, it is. Rooms at spa kid and clean, internet speed is surprisingly fast for the 🇵🇭. The hotel is also very expensive, here you are paying USA prices. The hotel is beach front but the beach is only for show since us full of jellyfish and by full I mean full, they are abundant and everywhere. If you jump on the water expert to be hit by at least a couple of them. The pool is amazing, one of my favorite during our 3 months trip and to many hotels around the country. The food is average, nothing to call home about. The staff is friendly for the most part.

We had a great time staying at Kandaya Reaort. Staff are excellent from the reception to Kusina Retaurant. Ideal for couples and families. Rooms are amazing with complete amenities. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Place has gym, massage service sports area (Tennis) horse back riding, ATV, and water activities. Menu wise, not so wide varieties but I should say, good enough. Price wise, reasonably. Location, a bit far north of Cebu but its definitely worth of travel We will go back again soon..

One of the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives and find a relaxing vacation spot that can take us away from it all. We spent 3 nights at this resort in one of the beach front pool chalets and had a nice stay. The staff were friendly and the service was quite good. This is a great resort if you are not looking for water sports. If you want to swim, snorkel and enjoy the beach this is not the best option. The beach is really not great and at low tide it is not swimmable. The main pool was dirty so we got out quickly. Also, the area was very arid and all the grass/plants were dead. I am sure during the rainy seasons the feel of the resort is much different but all the yards surrounding our room were dead so it wasn't beautiful looking. We did take the boat trip to the private beach on Malapascua which was a fun day out. The beach is not private and is actually on the main beach in Malapascua but it has beautiful sand and very clear water. We didn't mind having lots of people on the beach but if you are looking for a 'private' beach this is not it. They do own a plot of land behind the beach with chairs, bathrooms, bbq area which is quite nice. There are restaurants closeby for lunch and it is a fun day out. Our boat captain made our day very enjoyable and we did lots of snorkelling and swimming. So overall we had a fun stay at this resort but we would not visit this resort again. If you are into water sports I would suggest to just stay on Malapascua Island and use that as your base. …
