We are a family of highly passionate divers and we enjoy helping our visiting guests and underwater macro photographers to have unforgettable scuba diving holidays. This is what we have been doing since our establishment in 2009. We are usually visited by divers and underwater photographers from more than 40 nations from around the globe each year and we know and understand our visitors. We strive to make each experience with us unique. Romblon Province is located at the end of the Verde Island Passage between Luzon and the Visayan Islands – not only at the geographical center of the Philippines but also at the “center of center of marine biodiversity”. Romblon Island is not bigger than 50 square kilometers and famous for its authentic charm and friendly people. Until now only a few divers have found their way to Romblon Island but most of them fall in love with the island and so many of them keep coming back again and again.

We had a great 5 days diving vacation in December The hospitality and services are of the high level, starting from reservation until the departure. Comfortable room directly on the sea, good food, very well organized diving (specialization is "micro macro"). Thank you, the ThreeP team for the great time. Sergey

Three of us dived from 7 to 15 November - we made 24 dives. Never repeated dive sites (🙏🏻 Bobby!) This is my second visit to Three P Beach and Dive resort. I noticed the following pleasant improvements over the past 6 months: fast fiberoptic internet appeared, breakfasts are now a buffet, a photo exhibition appeared, as well as a convenient form for individual planning of diving activities (including black water, bonfire, night diving ...) , updated website. And yet - finally resumed air communication with Manila!. And now almost every day - full book - many famous photographers (I saw Steven Kovach and others ...) This resort is a seed business and it is customary to receive guests here in a family way, with sincere warmth and care. No matter how long you stay, you don't want to leave the resort - and some guests spend a whole month there! The German roots of the resort owners define the attention to detail: nudibranch lamps, keys with sea life trinkets, laconic design, marble floor, large work desk and spacious bed, Mitsubishi and Carrier air conditioners, AEG water heaters, etc… Almost all rooms overlook the mangroves. I got it without a sea view, in return - the entire wall to the ceiling was lined with a mosaic of corals and shells The concept of the kitchen is intriguing - no menu at all - every day a new dish! Chief David tirelessly pleased our stomachs))) The main thing (IMHO) remained unchanged - brilliant dive guides. These spotters have no equal. I have already done over 1000 dives in the Philippines and on my own I find three times less macros than each of these professionals! I don't know if I have the right to advise, but if the owners make a boat dock right next to the dive center, it will be incomparable! Hope to see you again in 2023!

We had an amazing stay at The Three P Beach Resort! The hospitality was amazing and you can really feel that it is a family-owned business full of care and love for each and every customer. They are full of knowledge of the ocean and provide many insights into the preservation of coral life. The dive experience was incredible! We traveled with two little ones 4 and 2 years old and the beach in front of the rooms was perfect for them too! It is safe for the kids to roam around and explore! We also enjoyed their breakfast - super tasty and nutritious! A must-stay place at Romblon, highly recommend staying here😊 Thank you for your hospitality!!

22 dives in 8 days May 21-28. Top level macro diving. Guides are not just amazing spotters, but also competent assistants - they save a lot of time for a macro photographer. I just showed them my wish list and then everything worked as if on a conveyor belt ... There was a feeling of complete relaxation until the last day. Flexible planning. Night diving. Cook David is simply God! It's nice to chat with him about different things ... Special thanks to Kati - she is a walking Wikipedia of underwater inhabitants. Accommodation in houses by the water with a view of the mangroves. Air con, hot shower, daily clean, large corner work table for serving two cams. Every evening I watched the sunset lying in bed with a pleasant fatigue from three dives of 90 minutes (dive time is not limited!). A few words how to get there: Manila airport - Batangas port: private minivan ($77, order via Kati) 2.5 h, Batangas - Romblon: ferry ($30 online booking), then 12 min tricycle for $4 - there are plenty of them in the port. Changed clothes, ate and immediately on the boat - dive! Guides find macro wildlife so quickly that you don't have to look for yourself or wait. In the end, I recommend making a 2-hour trip around the island on a tricycle and stopping by to see how marble is mined and processed - after all, Romblon is the marble capital of the Philippines.... BTW ... already 6 guests went there on my advice - hurry up, because before covid there was always a full book)).... I will go again in November - join me! PS I will upload my underwater photos as they are processed here @uw.art

Booked this up on line through the 3P website. Booking comms were swift and informative. We decided to take the route of a flight from Manila to Tablas and then we took the 3P pick up service and return service from airport to resort, I would personally avoid this route firstly because the price is far more expensive than taking a taxi from Manila to Batangas then the ferry over night to Romblon but also because of the comfort feel. Once at tablas airport you are picked up in an mini van, both Van's to/from are ACd but old and uncomfortable, the taxi is 2hrs long but if your lucky the road for a short cut maybe open which cuts the travel time down to an hour. I thought the taxi was private but on the way back from Romblon to Tablas we picked up another passenger, no problem as I guess they help out friends and family but hopefully they don't go out of the way to drop them off and jeopardise your travel time to your flight home. After the taxi you then have a Philippine out trigger take you from Tablas to Romblon, yet again I thought this was private but there were other guests on board, yet again no problem but be aware that you are not getting an exclusive service from/to the resort. During all these transfers, people taking bags on/off bus/boats and tricycles make sure you have small money for the tips. After the boat trip you have a short tricycle trip from the harbour to the resort. Once at the resort we were welcomed and given information by David. This was swift informative and helpful to all our questions. The resort has a small beach that is mostly covered at high tide, at low tide you will see the mangrove roots with its crab and mud skipper inhabitants. A diving equipment storage/changing area is provided which is all marked up for respective equipment to be cleaned. A small seperate smoking area is provided. Upstairs is the restaurant which is nicely fan cooled, it also the area we spent most of our free time as we dont like to be cooped up in a room to much. From the restaurant you can see many different wildlife things going on, an interesting thing to watch is a small olive sunbird drinking nectar from the hibiscus right in front. We also saw lizards, sea snakes, flying foxes in the evenings along with fireflies. There is also a small shop selling things if you want a souvenir. We opted for the full board option. The food provided is a set menu. Being a vegetarian was no problem for 3P. All food given was very tasty and a good portion size so you will never be hungry! I must mention the rum n raisin ice cream, if you dont get to try this you are missing out, it was super fantastic!! Breakfast has a small choice with eggs prepared as you want them, fruits available as well as a small variety of cereals and bread. You have to remember you are off the beaten track where specialists will only travel so you wont get massive variety but you will get quality! Diving is made from traditional Philippines out rigger boats, boats are limited to a certain amount of guests and a small diver to DM ratio. Most dive sites are around 15-20 minutes away plus the waters seem calm due to shielding from the islands around. My DM was fantastic, Kier went totally out of his was to try find what I was hoping to see, a very dedicated DM in customers satisfaction for sure! The other staff were all very helpful in getting you set up hassle free ready for your dive. I dont think I have to mention about the dive sites because if you're looking at this then you probably know what you are going here for, I will say you will be totally gob smacked at the unusual creatures around here, very few fish which is probably why the shrimps/crabs and nudis flourish here... The room we had was a good size, came with a safe, a rack for hanging clothes, shelves for clothes, a desk for camera care etc. The room was also cooled by a small cooler system. Plenty of electricity points for charging batteries etc. The shower room was also a good size. 2 single beds that can be pushed together for a double, the good thing is that the beds are heavy so they dont separate when you sleep in the middle. Bed linens were changed half way through our 1 week stay and towels were changed daily. I would recommend maybe each room having a brush so guests can brush out the sand that builds up during daily activities. It was quite hard to keep sand out of the bed and can be annoying for some. All staff were friendly helpful and attentive when needed. I actually found the staff to be quite shy compared to other dive destinations we have been to, this is possibly due to not many visitor coming to Romblon. We tried to have a laugh and joke with them which seemed to make them relax a little more. A few activities are offered for separate charges like taxi to town, massage and island tour. Wifi was slow but we kind of knew it would be so bought a sim card before we arrived there, I would advise against GLOBE as there was no service from this provider at the resort so maybe try SMART if you are going to be using mobile internet. The WiFi during our stay was also limited to the⁷ restaurant area, the day before we checked out a new router had been installed making wifi available in all rooms. 3P were also very flexible on payment. The only ATM on the island that takes foreign cards was down so we made arrangements and made payment through other means. I would suggest you take enough cash for your stay before getting to the island just in case the ATM is not working again... Overall we loved our stay at 3P, being a small island you will have slow WiFi, electricity blackouts, poor punctuality for transport etc but the service, diving and helpfulness from everyone made it stress and hassle free so comes highly recommended!

I stayed here for a week with a group of divers and was quite happy with the resort and the dive operation. The resort is on a narrow strip of land between the road and the sea, so there isn't much room to walk around. There is no beach to speak of and the little bit of sand is covered completely at high tide. I stayed in one of the cottages away from the main building which was roomy, air-conditioned and had a little verandah where it was nice to enjoy a quiet drink. The staff were friendly and attentive and having the owners on site is a big plus. I was on an all inclusive package which included all meals as well as the accommodation and diving. The food was very good, tasty and varied. There aren't any restaurants nearby. Diving was from bancas which are the norm in the Philippines. They make great dive boats. The guides were excellent and the boat crew very competent. Romblon is great for finding some macro subjects that are a bit more challenging elsewhere. We tended to go to the same 5 or 6 sites during the week's diving. If you are coming to Romblon by ferry I highly recommend booking a cabin. The Resort is a fair way from the main town, however it is worth a look on non-diving days.

Three P Dive Resort is an oasis in the heart of the Philippines. The rooms are generous size and the air conditioners work well. They are clean and comfortable and have electric hot water heaters in the showers like on a cruise ship. The food is plentiful and delicious, prepared fresh every day by a German chef. But the reason for going to Romblon is the unusual underwater creatures, which cannot be found easily, if at all, in other parts of the world. Here the dive guides are well trained by those who spent years searching for the critters and documenting their findings. The guides are able to find an assortment of creatures, which will keep any macro-photographer happy. Romblon should be on every serious macro-photographer’s destination list, but the journey by ferry is arduous after a long international flight. Suggest spending some time in Anilao diving and recovering from jet lag before taking the ferry. At any rate, be sure to book an air-conditioned private room on the ferry or you will have to sleep on bunks outside.

Read great things about Romblon and the macro scene, and came away very happy. The journey was very long and it's the same via flight or ferry. Lembeh may have more macro diversity but Romblon scores highly on specialised critters like the melibe and butterfly nudi, with multiple colors available. Seas were calm, water a bit cold and the guides were some of the best I've had. Cyril and his brother John are like fine dining servers. You tell them what you want and they will patiently deliver the critters on a plate to each photographer. Excellent stuff and everyone had enough to go around. All dives are a maximum 20min away. The Blackwater dive is highly recommended for anyone who hasn't tried it. The sea was calm and the drift was peaceful. It can be a long rocky walk to the boats at low tide so boots are a must. The resort room was clean and everything worked well. Ask for a fridge if you need one. It's also very noisy being next to the road so bring your ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Water pressure was on and off but water was fresh. Enough power points for charging stuff. WiFi and local telco strength were poor all the way. Can't blame the resort but between globe and smart sims, I recommend the latter. Best signal is when you're on board so bring your phones along. I found the food average and would have given 3 stars if not for the quality of the dives. Bring snacks or cup noodles if you're a fussy eater. There is a small sundry shop close the the resort.

The resort is located few meters from the water front, so there is a nice view with Mangrove trees. Rooms are VERY VERY big in any scale, Large bed (fit large European / American sizes), very big photography table or any other stuff you like to leave on a table. Very comfortable shower with hot and cold water, Fan and AC (I was in January and did not use AC at all). Nice front balcony to chill and drink something. Diving, It is a world class location for Macro and Super Macro critters , The guides know the sea floor like their hand, and will spot you any critter that exist in the area, they are able to handle 3 photographer at the same dive without any problem, no queue and waiting for something , They have 5 different pygmy’s, special “Sashimi” shrimps and many other nudibranchs. Water was 25 0C, was OK for me with 5mm wetsuit. 2-4 dives a day, don’t miss night dives. They have black water dives, but I did not do it. Restaurant, they have their own kitchen with German chef David. He is a true master in the kitchen. He will cook anything you want with fresh products. If you are vegetarian don’t worry he is, so he will cook you dishes that will cause you lick your fingers. They offer a food package for 1200 peso per day, the food was more than enough (I’m 1.81 and 96 Kg). The town id about 7 km (4miles), נut I could not find fine restaurant there.

From booking to diving, it’s all seamless! They were extremely responsive and helpful about our numerous questions. They are very organised in terms of our diving arrangements. And our private spotter was SUPERB! He found us everything we are supposed to see in Romblon! Last but not least, Chef David fed us very well! His homemade ice-cream is glorious!
