The hotel is situated right in the middle of the pretty town of Romblon Romblon , down a small street with some very nice traditional Philippine houses . The rooms are a little basic but comfortable and are all en suite . Very good value for money. Ian, the owner from New Zealand and his staff are very friendly and helpful too . No complainants, I enjoyed my stay. There is a nice bakery at the end of the street and lots of shops nearby .and walking distance to one of the best restaurants in town, Romblon Deli. Dear David, Thank you for being the first to put a comment about Muravian Hotel on trip advisor. I will take this opportunity to inform future guests of what a “little basic” room in Muravian Hotel looks like. This can also be seen on our website muravianhotel.com There are 8 rooms all similar and they are approximately square and of about 9 sq. meters size. The rooms were decorated about 2 years ago and the floors are finished in high quality marble tiles which are easy to keep clean. All rooms have large windows and look over the town and to the green hills that surround Romblon. The windows have heavy drapes for blocking out the light when required. There are custom made integrated units with a wardrobe, cupboards, drawer and desk. I went to Manila personally about 2 weeks ago and bought complete sets of linen and pillows for all beds. The bathrooms are on suite and about 3 sq. meters in size. They have a window, mirror and a lockable door as well as a shower toilet and hand basin. The hardware is all new stainless steel. The floor and the walls of the bathrooms are finished with high quality marble tiles. Finally may I mention that I cleaned all the shower heads in the last few days and they give a great spray now.
