Located approximately 100 km south of the city of Cebu, it has come under new ownership and management as of July 2013, therefore we would appreciate it if you would take into account that any negative reviews of Voda Krasna before July 2013 do not apply to its current state. Voda Krasna has undergone a multitude of renovations and changes since its turnover and we are hopeful for the future, especially with the newly built bar and additional rooms, which will allow us to accommodate and satisfy more visitors. Currently, we have 3 villas, 4 standard rooms, 3 sea view suites and 4 beach huts available for rent. We also have beach tables and tent rentals for day use or overnight camping.

Vodakrasna is by far the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at. It shows its 3 star hotel, but we have stayed at many 5 star hotels before where their services were not even close to voda krasna. From their manager Chris to Mae who served us you will not find anyone who comes close to their commitment to the customers happiness. I would recommend this place to everyone around the world. All their staff are very friendly and will try and make your stay as nice and comfortable as possible. Their rooms are immaculate, beaches and water are beautiful.

My friends and I spend our mini-reunion here. The beach has no big rocks and the water is very clean. The sunrise and sunset here is perfect as well! The beach, the cottage and the location is fantastic and would like to comeback here again soon.

Rooms were borderline tacky and bathroom divider was made out of cheap plastic walling. We didn’t get our room cleaned for the entire 3 nights we stayed. Many small detail issues and if you are coughing up more than 100 $$ per night there is better value elsewhere to find. Bar guys were very nice and personal, beach is beautiful

Their manager has no manners. Doesn't reply to delivered texts and puts down the phone call even when I wasn't done talking. Tried calling the resort after texting them but no one seems to answer the phone anymore. Their manager needs to be replaced.

Vada Krasna is an outstanding experience and I recommend it through and through. Our room was comfortable, with a perfect view of the ocean. The food was all delicious and the prices seemed fair to me. The grounds of this small resort were immaculate, clean and well kept by the staff daily. The beach was also clean with tables and chairs set up for all the guests. On the weekends, the beach is busy and vibrant. However, during the middle of the week, it feels like a private beach because there are so few people. The resort itself is quite a distance from the airport but we found easy transportation in both directions. There is not a lot of “touristy” areas near Voda Krasna but the staff can help arrange trips. We went whale watching and toured a local waterfall. Now, a word about the staff. These were the friendliest people I have ever had wait on me in my life. Special mention goes to the waiters in the lounge area, helpful, funny and friendly. The cooks knew us on sight and talked to us about our food, asking opinions and altering dishes for us. Even the gentlemen who take care of the beach went out of their way to ensure our comfort and watched our bags when we went in the water. However, the manager of the resort, Chris, must be given special attention. He is a gentleman and he works very hard to be sure everything is up to high standards, asking us daily if there was anything he could do to improve our visit. He is accommodating and made our visit perfect. This is a relaxing spot to swim and sun yourself. It is not a high energy party spot with daily excursions and organized activities but this was not what we were looking for. We loved that many Phillipino families shared our vacation with us, making us feel welcome. We were invited to several family dinners and made good friends. I feel like we had a authentic experience in Cebu, not a tourist holiday behind barricades surrounded by only fellow foreign tourists, I recommmend Voda Krasna for a friendly, relaxing holiday. We plan to return here in a few months and would not consider staying anywhere else.

The villa, the beach, white sands and the scenery will entice you to stay all day and night at Voda Krasna. The beach is very seducing that you won’t entertain the though to get some rest in your room. As for food, the prices are affordable and their servings are good for 2 guests. We will definitely be back to this place before this year ends.

We went to this resort to have a dip in their white beach and have a lunch in their resort. We just rented an umbrella cottage, then we ordered food. The price is not reasonable for the taste of the food, yes we pay for an expensive food but honestly the food in food courts inside the mall are so much better than the food that they serve. We ordered Sinigang na baboy, lack of taste and the pork is not tender, chicken and pork adobo is quite good but not good enough, nothing special about the dishes that they serve, we also ordered chicken cordo bleu but it was not what I expected, the chicken is dry but the fries on the side dish is good. Our chopsuey doesn’t taste chopsuey, it was just a mixed vegetables with salt and pepper. After the lunch and quick dip in the water, we left right away unsatisfied.

Nice place but quite far from Cebu. Food and beverages are expensive. Though the cottages are nicely done. Service was good and food are freshly cooked. Noticed that the sea water was itchy and got some bites.

Very disappointing hotel that seems to trade on its location on the beautiful Tingko beach. Rooms lacked basic facilities that would be expected in a hotel of its supposed standard, e.g. no wardrobe, no desk, no safe, no laundry facilities (despite being advertised), no balcony or sitting out area, only a weak electric shower, no daily room cleaning, no swimming pool and, almost unbelievably in 2018, no wifi in the room (and with very poor wifi in the public areas). And yet for this, the hotel has the cheek to charge over US$100 per night! Key selling point for the hotel is its position on Tingko beach. Whilst the beach is undoubtedly beautiful, it is fairly small and hence crowded at busy times; it is also partially backed by the busy coastal highway. Worst of all, there were extremely loud karaoke machines operating on the beach whose noise permeated virtually the entire beach and also the hotel. The karaoke started as early as 7.00 am and went on until 10.00 pm, hence no chance of peace either on the beach or in the hotel. Note, stairs down to the lower rooms and beach were steep and dangerous. Staff were friendly, as you would expect in the Philippines, but unwilling to go beyond their basic duties, e.g. to help organise trips, hire motorbikes etc. There seemed little evidence of an owner/manager keeping an eye on things and ensuring guests were happy. Food was below average for the Philippines which means poor by international standards. Cocktails were, however, good. Overall, with a price cut of two thirds and avoiding weekends, holidays and other busy periods, the hotel may be a worthwhile option, but otherwise best avoided.

Nice place but, to get some bits and pieces you need to drive 30 minutes. Away from everything. No nearby shops or market the nearest is 30 minutes drive that's according to our driver. But seriously the beach was very nice people are very friendly.
