Agoda Booking was cancelled last minute by the hotel due to a “double booking”. Lucky I was able to find a room in another hotel or I would have been stranded. Hotel must understand that Agoda policy is booking is guaranteed and cannot be simply cancelled on their own whim. It’s probably a good idea to get a reconfirmation from hotel of your booking. Their booking system appears not to be 100% reliable.

Nothing against TGH, the guys running it are great the breakfast as not too bad and the rooms are quiet enough at night as it's away from the roads. That's about it though.. The hotel is far from anything and anywhere. You'll have to bus back to Moalboal to go to any restaurant other than the one in the hotel. (the hotel one is OK but not much to choose from) To get to the hotel you walk down a small alleyway past a public market, there's a roast chicken place and a small walkway.. About 250 meters down there you'll find it. Next to the hotel is a small pool filled with sea water at high tide, where local kids hang out and play which is nice enough. Hotel can arrange tours or mopeds if you want (though not the cheapest) There is essentially nothing wrong with the hotel, it's just in a bad location. Not sure why you would want to stay in Badian but if you do I would stay here.

We stayed here to have a day trip to Lambug Beach and liked this place, and this area so much we decided to stay another night. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the owners are very nice. We booked a room with a private bathroom, they also have rooms with a shared bathroom and a common area with a tv and a dvd player with movies to choose from. The guest house and our room were very clean and well kept, with good a/c, a warm shower, and a terrace that overlooked the springs just outside of the facilities where many of the locals like to spend time. They also provide meals and tour packages upon request. There is a nice dining area with a tv. Also tables outside with an extremely cute puppy roaming around. There is also an evening market setup where they serve different local foods and a 7-eleven up the road for convenience. This place can be difficult to find as it's off of the main road down a side street, then down yet another side street. (Turn down the road across from 7-eleven, go down the hill part way, and there is a small path that goes along an "L" shaped building that serves local food. Follow the path until you see the springs.) I highly recommend staying here for a taste of local life and food, and somewhat easy access to Lambug Beach. It is very easy and affordable to find a ride nearby. The springs are nice too! 😋

Enjoyed our night here, very accommodating staff with a nice room with balcony. Situated in a very quiet area, but only a two minute walk to a bustling market and barbecue food area with a 7-Eleven across the street. It was low tide so there was no pool available but for the price would definitely recommend staying here as a good base for all the activities and sights available.

From a trip from Siargao we decided to have a short trip to Cebu, and we decided to try Kawasan Falls in Badian. I am happy that I found this property, although it is 3 hours from Cebu City but still reasonable enough to book when in Badian. The location is quite hidden but away from the crowd. The room we had did not have it's own bathroom but they had 2 for sharing which was clean all the time and had complete toiletries that you may need. The staff is awesome from the time we checked in to our check out. Definitely recommended.

We arrived at TGH late after a full day of travels and they were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. Throughout our whole stay they made us feel like we were part of the family and were incredibly helpful with advice, recommendations and helping us plan our trip. In all my travels this is the most impressed I have been with a place, they are great. Thank you guys!

We stayed here this week and loved our visit. The place itself is clean, well maintained, and far above the quality we expected in this quiet town of Badian. Pros: Room, service (thanks Randell!), location (near canyoneering and less touristy than Moalboal). They were very hospitable and even let us shower after we checked out. Cons: This hostel, like many others, seems to make a commission from coordinating tours. This could be a benefit if you need help finding activities, and I have no doubt they set you up with good tours at fair prices. Even still, we had already booked our tour independently, and the owner seemed disappointed at this. The biggest issue was when the owner stated that it was necessary for us to book a tour to see the sardines in Moalboal... We declined, and when we went ourselves and snorkeled from shore at Panagsama Beach we found the ocean teeming with sardines and turtles. This soured our opinion of an otherwise perfect stay as we felt he had been dishonest in order to get us to book a tour. Even still, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed 3 night at TGH - 1 night in the family room and 2 nights in a twin room. Both rooms were very clean, big and mostly importantly - comfortable! They are equipped with a kitchen and a dining area where you can enjoy food prepared by their amazing chef Rita. We had 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner during our stay and all 3 meals were just spot-on! Coffee was great too! But it's not the only reason why we love TGH so much! The guest house is run by a lovely family and everyone was just so friendly and made you feel like you were home. Randel helped us book our tour for snorkeling, proposed fun paddling on our last day and was really a good accompany during our stay. Rita was an excellent cook, everything that she made was just spot on! The girls were shy, but super cute. Again, we just felt blended in this lovely family right away. It's a family that cares truthfully for their guests. Randel dropped us at the bus stop when we were leaving, and since it was a busy day and we couldn't get on any after waiting an hour. He then helped us get a private car and gave us useful tip for the ride. We could not imagine any host better than him, really! Really recommend staying with them if you want to feel like home during your vacation in Badian :)

This guesthouse is a simple, affordable and the best service ever. We stayed here for 4D / 3N and we stayed at the family room. The owner is so welcoming and warm. We ate breakfast for our entire stay. Their bacon set breakfast is so huge. Usual serving of bacon for a restaurant and other hotels usually 3 slice only, but for them i think its 5 or 6. Coffee is a brewed one, hot choco is Cadbury, a special cheese was also served. We request to serve breakfast at 5:30am and yes, 5:30 the table is ready. He also volunteer to cook our dinner for two nights, pork sinigang and tinolang native manok! I ask if they have Omega (coz our activity that day is Canyoneering plus Osmena peak! You know how my body ache that night...) and they extend to buy and give it me w/out additional cost! We availed their Pescador island hopping at a discounted price :) Kudos to TGH team! Keep it up guys!

If you’re in Badien this is the place to stay. The owner is so friendly, helpful and will bend over backwards to get you whatever you need. Some places want to get you checked in and that’s it, but here the owner will answer any question you have fantastic service 😃 (make sure you try the pork tocino on the Philippines breakfast! Maybe the best pork I’ve ever tasted!)
