If you are looking for a five star castle stay in Ireland then look no further then Dromoland. Its everything you would expect from the drive into the estate and wonderful grounds to arriving at the stunning castle. The decor and ambience inside is wonderful and laid back. Service is on point. We had dinner in the Earl of Thomand on 1 night and it was absolutely stunning, the room, the food and the service. First time staying and will definitely be back. Top tip: Take 1 of the hotels golf carts out for a drive around the estate, great fun and you get to see so much of the grounds.

From arrival to departure, the staff focused on all your needs. The gold course is wonderful. I would highly recommend the Falconry Activity. It was amazing and the whole family loved it. The food was delicious, the staff is so friendly. Looking forward to our next stay.

A very special place to stay, from the wonderful staff to the beautiful decor. We have stayed here more times than I can remember and will continue to stay here again in the future. It’s so relaxing and a great place to unwind and the staff are second to none, no request is too much trouble! It really is an experience and we’re looking forward to staying again.

Went for Christmas afternoon tea with family. The hotel and location are stunning. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. There was a significant additional charge that wasn’t there last year and I was not made aware of this at booking - it would make think twice about returning and is something to potentially be aware of.

Absolutely gorgeous. The Castle and the very extensive grounds are beautiful. We were staying to celebrate a birthday- and made to feel so special. The birthday girl was sung to - a great rendition of Young at Heart in the cocktail bar. Alex is the genuis mixologist in the cocktail bar - you must sample one (or more) of his Tarot Card cocktails- can’t recommend enough. Treated like royalty in the Earl of Thomond restaurant- fantastic service and food. Also dined at the golf club restaurant where the meal was first class and again the staff so pleasant and helpful. Our room was large - immaculately decorated and top quality furnishings. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return.

Sheehan and Matthew were excellent waiters. Very attentive and Charming. Matthew entertained us with a vivid history lesson of Dromoland and the rooms we were dining in. While Sheehan was great at keeping our favourite snacks on the table. He gave us great recommendations and was very patient with my mum. Definitely a 5 star experience.
