Having been badly let down by the Dunraven hotel, who cancelled our booking at short notice, we were very fortunate to discover the delights of the Adare Country House and its wonderful owners Denis and Eileen. We could not have been made more welcome and their interest in what we were doing was a genuine interest. Breakfast was very good and nothing was too much trouble. Since we had a late flight they encouraged us to use the lounge for as long as we wanted after checking out.

This is the most welcoming place you could ever stay. I had the best night sleep on the very comfortable bed and the breakfast was amazing. It is a short walk to the beautiful village of Adare where we had a great dinner at Sean Collins Pub. The icing on the cake was when, upon discovering that my daughter left her purse with her passport behind, Denis drove straight away to meet us at Shannon Airport and hand delivered it. Highly recommend!

Eileen & Dennis are the most amazing hosts, kind, considerate, patient and caring. Their home is a home away from home with a twist - relaxing, immaculate, well positioned for walking into Adare. Quiet and guaranteed a good nights rest. Thank you most sincerely to both who go the extra mile to make their guest feel a warm genuine welcome and feel valued. The breakfast was fab and I will be back! I am now an Ambassador for your wonderful Guest Home - True essence of wonderful service.

What a lovely B&B! The house is magnificent and just a short walk from the center of town. It is clean and very comfortable. Eileen is so friendly and full of great advice on where to eat or where to hear music or anything. The house is filled with original artwork by Eileen who somehow finds the time to create in the midst of running the inn and putting together a huge breakfast spread complete with homemade bread! When we were there, she had even run into town to purchase a couple of specific items for guest with food allergies. Adare Country House was so pleasant in every way that it has actually made it difficult for us to enjoy staying in any other establishment. My hope is that I will have an opportunity to stay here again.

It was just ok. Breakfast was a real disappointment and the worst of our stay in Ireland. It’s continental and you help yourself. It wasn’t to my taste at all - very budget (shop bought bread still in its wrapper for toast, along with individually wrapped butter and jams). Eileen welcomed us on arriving but sat with her back to us at her kitchen table when we were leaving and didn’t turn around to say goodbye, despite the lovely Dennis being stood right next to her whilst saying bye to us.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Adare Country House, the first was 10 years ago. The beds are still really comfy, the rooms are spacious, a delicious breakfast is included and it’s a great price! Eileen is a wonderful hostess, she is such a pleasure to talk with as are her son and husband.

Adare is a lovely little village and there are lots of things to do within an easy days drive so it’s a great home base for a few days or a week and The Adare County House is the ideal spot to stay while in Adare. It is a short walk into town for restaurants and the large visitors center as well as the church and shops.

There are certainly more expensive places to stay in Adare, but none more comfortable or pleasant than The Adare Country House.

My husband and I really loved the hotel .The room was quet. Therefore, we slept very soundly. The breaffast the following morning was quite something else. My husband loved his full Irish breakfast While I preferred the fresh fruit in a yougurt. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

My husband and I stayed at Adare Country House for four nights in September. Owners Eileen and Dennis are so cheerful and gracious that after talking with them for two minutes, you think you've known them for years.
This lovely house radiates a cozy elegance and you feel at home the minute you step through the front door.
The rooms are spacious and the location is exceptional.
Thank you for a splendid stay! Adare Country House deserves an A++ !!

We had been let down on a long standing booking by the local Dunraven hotel and at short notice managed to book accommodation with Denis and Eileen so that we could attend a wedding in Adare. They were absolutely first class and could not be faulted. We were already in Ireland and arrived early wanting to drop our cases off but were shown to our room straight away. The breakfast was excellent and our 4 poster bedroom very comfortable. Thank you Denis and Eileen for making us so welcome you fully deserve a 5 star rating.

We did not use any local transport while we were there as we had a hire car from Shannon airport but we were aware that there were plenty of local taxi services. Probably best to contact the owner,Denis, on 353 61 395 986 who is a lovely man and most helpful

I don't know either since we were traveling from Colorado. I will say this: Adare was an excellent B&B, with friendly hosts, comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast.

Yes there are as far as I remember. But write to the owners or call them. They are some of the most helpful owners of any bnb or guesthouse I have ever experienced.
