I don’t know how to feel with this resort. Sort of overpriced for the amenities it offers. One thing I do not understand is their pool rules, apparently kids and adults have separate pool but then you see caucasian kids swimming in their adult area, I asked the manager why they are allowed and yet filipino kids aren’t and the answer is because they are certified swimmers? like wtf. lol

Pros: The resort was aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and very instagrammable Pool and beach front Secluded portion from the stretch of white beach Staff is accommodating and polite Cons: Corkage fee too much. 100php per bottle of coke. 300php per person if we bring in our own food (can you imagine for 14 people!) Both sides of the resort are public white beach resorts that had noisy people (karaoke). No outside restos to buy food from. To far from the main road. Bumpy zigzag road. All in all, this will take 7 hours from Manila. All in all, we enjoyed swimming and doing the water activities. The only amenity we were able to make full use of is the pool. The 4 cabanas that were forcefully booked for us were not used, just 1 for our things. 11k daytour price (14 people/ 4 cabanas) NO choice to get just 1 cabana 4k for the restaurant food Would I recommend it? Yes, if you want to travel far and are okay with just 1 food option and if you are okay with a lot of people by the beach with karaoke singing left and right.

Nice secluded resort on the other side of Sual Power Plant. It’s 10 km from the exit. Rooms are big, nice and clean. No cellular phone signal here, wifi sucks or non-existent. Food is good but very limited/ can’t bring in outside food except water. Service is great, no words to describe their staff, really fast and attentive. Beach has a lot of trash coming in esp. in the morning during high tide. No wheelchair access to the beach, only up to the restaurant before the the pool which was a bummer for my dad. The weird thing is they only accept cash for room reservations and fees but the restaurant does accepts credit cards. I don’t like bringing a lot of cash, credit card reservations would be easier. I,and most guests, will gladly pay for the credit card transaction fee if that’s what this resort is worried about. Overall, it was an ok stay. Service is great though.

The pictures from the facebook page and Masamirey’s online page were misleading. The beach is a lot smaller compared to the picture and it wasn’t as clean. There were garbage floating, lots of seaweeds, lots of scattered wood floating on the shore and there were 4-5 stray dogs roaming around the beach. Heck, there were even some dog poop around the shore. We also expected that the resort to be private however, people from outside or other resorts were able to pass by the resort itself. There was no exclusivity or privacy for the guests of Masamirey. It was underwhelming and disappointing. At night, there were lots of insects in the resort’s restaurant. It was also hard to sleep due to dogs howling. There was even a blackout in the middle of the night. The only positive review for us was the affordable prices for the food and the accommodating staff members. Please clean your beachfront.

We we’re staying at a different place but chanced upon this gem when we were looking for a place to eat. Food was excellent and service was courteous and efficient. We wanted to change our accommodation but unfortunately all rooms/villas were fully booked including the day cottages but the manager/owner (May?) allowed us to stay to use the infinity pool. Thanks again and we will definitely go back and stay at the property next time.

If you're looking for a wonderful place to relax, chill out, and have a quiet time with your loved one(s), this is the place. Nice spacious airconditioned rooms, meals available on-site, beautiful pool, nice area for volleyball, and a gorgeous beach with picturesque and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. I could have stayed here for months! The staff were professional and courteous, the food was outstanding, and the accommodations were second to none. I highly recommend this location. I must say that there was one negative and that was the trash in/from the ocean.

We have an unplanned overnight staycation in this place last weekend. The place is somewhat hidden because traveling is very challenging yet, it somehow impressive! This place is good for relaxing after a hectic schedule. The only negative issue for me is their wifi connection. The signal is very poor.

Stayed at Masamirey Cove and it is by far among the best resorts i’ve ever stayed at! My wife and I felt so much at home. The whole staff were very kind and accommodating, attended to all our needs. Their customer service is really amazing! Their food is very delicious, especially the pizza and bulalo salpicao. My wife and I really enjoyed eating here. Their modern Filipino recipes are something we wish they would serve in Manila. We can’t wait to go back just to eat their food again... Every corner was Instagram worthy! Everything we saw online was exactly how it is in person. We can’t wait to go back, and experience the morning sunrise, absolutely the best i’ve ever witnessed. Will definitely be back soon!! ❤️

The best thing about this place is that we were able to rent it out exclusively for our batch reunion - UST BSN Batch ‘80 4-year course. Yes, we paid a bit more but it was all worth it. I was so lucky to have found this resort. This was actually 2 years in the making. But the outcome was awesome. The place was so cool, very inviting and we enjoyed every bit of our 3 days stay. The rooms are big and clean, beds are comfy, food was excellent, the beachfront had the finest sand, it is nature at its best. All that we requested were followed to the dot. All that we rented were reasonably priced. We even had mass inside the resort. We also had an extra tour to the Hundred Islands. Simple amazing! Thanks to all the staff especially Ms. Jackie Quinto who stayed very late during our luau night just to make sure everything was in order. Thanks to the chef who made sure we have the most delicious Ilokano food everyday. The staff made our stay very comfortable, satisfactory and enjoyable. What an experience. An unforgettable reunion is what we had.

my family of four visited masamirey cove for an overnight stay, and with the intention of spending most of the first day away from the resort on a tour of hundred islands. but not all things happen as planned, and the winds were too strong to take a boat ride over. we had to stay at the resort all day. what did we do? on a crazy day like the day we went, it seemed that there wouldn’t be much to do. we could stay by the pool, eat at the restaurant, watch the water, or swim. we ended up doing all these things to rest and relax after many days of hustle and bustle in the city. it ended up being absolutely perfect!!! the rooms are clean and simple, but with a high class feel. the bathroom is well stocked with towels, and there are two different shower settings so you could switch between the rainfall type and the handheld type. there are tables set out outside your villa so you could eat there instead of the restaurant if that’s what you wanted. there is always a lifeguard and a security guard so safely is definitely a priority. the staff are all friendly and accommodating, and they even have people training from different colleges for OJT. serving and giving back to the community! they give you metal straws when you order drinks, which i have never seen at a restaurant before. these little touches make everything feel special and thoughtful. the beach is beautiful. the water here has gorgeous shades of blue and green, and the waves are endless. at night, the beach area is lit up and it’s a cozy place to hang out and listen to the ocean. the view of the stars from there is beautiful too. breakfast was served promptly straight to our villa. check out was easy, and we were all so sad to leave. this is the best resort i’ve ever stayed in in pangasinan. every detail is thoughtful, every person is delightful, and we can’t wait to come back!
