This resort is situated far from town. It's best if you have your own vehicle.

The staff are friendly and accommodating. The pool is clean. The over-all vibe of the place is relaxing and there are instagrammable spots. Lots of Trees, plants and flowers.

They offer private area with pool.

If you plan to visit several resorts in the Zambales area, go to this one last - none of the others are close to the experience you will get here. Let me start by listing the 4 potential problems with the resort: 1. They don't take credit cards 2. Access is via a poor road, including a short strech that is just small rocks. It's not far, just slow and bumpy. If you hire a tricycle, expect them to charge a high rate, because of the potential damage to their vehicle 3. The resort has lots of stairs and slopes, you need to be careful with elderly or very small people, and handicap access would be an issue 4. It is not a beach resort, you can see a beach but it is not immediately accessible

Now the good news. If you have a large family or group like we did, definitely get the 2 apartment complex with the private pool. Each apartment has 2 bedrooms and a total of 10 beds, with room to add more. We had 25 people and we were very comfortable without adding beds. The apartments are on the second level, you get your own PRIVATE pool and large grill area way down below (see photos). Up on the top is a private large covered and lighted area with great views, a cool breeze, a double burner gas stove, and karaoke. The apartments have a full sized ref and a large flat screen in each main room. There were no TVs in the 4 bedrooms, which I thought would be an issue, but we were always outside on the top level or swimming, even the main TVs got little use. Even in the hottest part of the day the top level area was quite comfortable, and you always wanted to be up there. The top level is the perfect place for group activities, we had some night bingo games which were fun.

The staff are extremely friendly, it was an off period during the week right after Holy Week so we were able to negotiate terms and prices just a bit. The staff were very polite, able to gently tell us no when we asked for too much, but were flexible within reason on some issues that were important to us. This may not be the case during other periods, the base prices are reasonable.

We cooked our own breakfasts and lunches, but ordered catered food for dinner from the resort. They have dishes for 10 people, we ordered several and were able to feed our group for a reasonable rate. I have had group dinners at most of the better resorts in this general area (Palmera, Sajorda, Bakasyunan) and this is the best in terms of quality and price (Sajorda is close).

Also, there is a small store inside the resort for puchasing food and drink items. Even though you are kind of trapped there, their prices are similar to what you would find in town.

Finally, when you paying cash, I always worry that when you get the final bill there will be some major surpirse additions, this does happen at other resorts. The cost for the room and for the dinner was it, there were no surprises.

Hi Robin M, Thank you for highlighting potential challenges and also the good news about our place. We are currently improving the access road by concreting portions of the road and providing ramps for accessibility of the physically challenged individuals, young and old to where it is feasible. Again, we appreciate your useful comments and suggestions constructively. Regards,

The GOOD:

The resort is highly recommended for family or company functions and outings. It's laid out to handle multiple events at once with many different venues available. The entire resort is beautifully landscaped and offers a number of pool areas along with convenient CR facilities. At night the resort comes alive when the many floral (plastic) displays are well lit.

Sure, the entrance road is a bit bumpy, but that's part of the adventure. As most locals can't parallel park, use instead the main parking lot. Be sure to locate the well hidden Sari Sari store in the middle of the park. Also don't be shy and be sure to take photos around the infinity pool overlooking Masinloc Bay.

The BAD:

We booked two Ocean View rooms.

*** The views were nice, especially during sunset.
*** If you Check-In Early, you are advised that you are required to Check-Out early. We arrived at Noon and were advised that we would have to depart the next day one hour early at 10AM.
*** NO WI-FI
*** NO Hot Water
*** NO Water Pressure to take a shower.
*** Loose water faucet, shower head and entrance door knob.
*** Very noisy Air Conditioner, luckily there was an overhead fan.
*** Mold on the Air Conditioner cord, residue dust on the clothes rack unit.
*** Very limited Satellite TV channels and the signal kept cutting out.
*** The rooms had been recently repainted with LOTS of "White" paint. NO wall decorations of any kind. It could not have been more sterile looking!

The UGLY:

The food was a complete disappointment.

The first day we ordered lunch. Our order was a "Shrimp Gombos" and a "Stir Fried Chicken". Both dishes came were made with exactly the same sauce with vegetables that were identical in both dishes.

For dinner it was a Tinola along with a Porterhouse Steak. The Steak (if it can be called that) was absolutely the worse that I have ever had. Search the photos and take a look for yourself.

The meals are served and you will NEVER see the staff again. They retreat to the outside kitchen area which is located in the middle resort grounds. NO Condiments of any kind are placed on the table. We had to ask for tissues at delivery of both meals. Bring your own bottle opener.

Stayed here for 2 nights in one of the private 2-BR apartments in the villa, with 2 double beds in each room. Staying in the private villa you get a private swimming pool and hot tub plus an amazing view of the bay and the lights of the Napocor power plant.

The staff are so friendly and accomodating and the food is so good! There are flowers and butterflies everywhere and the air is fresh.

They also have a farm where you can collect fresh eggs and see all the animals and vegetables that contribute to the kitchen.

This is the perfect place for a short break with the family and/or friends and the kids will definitely love the huge slide to the swimming pool.

They have a nice reception area and pool area with a nice view, compared to the other resorts in the area. Staff were very accommodating. Room is just okay for overnight stay. The room had a moldy smell and was not sure if the sheets were really sanitized. Bathrooms was not cleaned properly, there were hair residues. Food is just fine but nothing special. There was on-going construction and so the place was quite cluttered.

People are so warm, accommodating and friendly :) If you're a nature lover, you'll definitely love the place. Rooms are comfortable. Rates are fair enough and affordable. Foods are awesome and so affordable! I love their pancake, tortang talong and bbq :) The owner, kuya Ferdinand is so accommodating and humble. What a perfect place to just relax after an adventure in an island. Will definitely go back and share this awesome place :)

I'm so excited to write a review on D'farm because we really had a nice stay. My college barkada and I stayed here from October 29 to October 30, 2016.

Place. The place was so amazing. The pathways were garden-like and well-maintained. There were trees everywhere in between cottages, closed-kubos and pools which is nice if you really want to feel like you're one with nature. The whole place was fully lighted even at night so you can still take amazing photos or selfies in different areas. During the day, the view of the sea is breathtaking. And even during the night, the reflection of the lights in water is beautiful. Come see for yourself. Though it would have been better if they have a direct access to the sea. They also have billiards area but I'm not sure if everyone can use it.

Room. We stayed in a closed kubo with aircon which has one double-deck bed (2 persons can occupy one deck), one side-table and comfort room. One word to describe the interior: comfy. The kubo also has its own terrace where you can drink or play cards. At least four people can comfortably fit in that area. That's what I love about this kubo - you can talk, drink and play cards outside without creating a mess inside the bedroom. And the breeze makes you feel so at home. But beware of mosquito bites though if you're planning on staying outside during the night.

Pools. If I'm not mistaken, they have four pools open to public. The main pool (with a kiddie pool near it) , slide pool (4ft), slide pool (2ft) and a kiddie pool. I'm not sure about the last one though. We enjoyed playing and swimming in the main pool. It was clear and clean. Fun. I wanted to try the slide pool (4ft) but it wasn't as clean as the main pool. We weren't sure if the water was new. NOTE: It wasn't dirty per se. It's just that the main pool looked more enticing than it so we decided to stay in the former. Most part of each pool was shaded by trees so you can hide from the sun if you don't want burns haha. Infinity pools were available but only to the private villas. If we had the right amount of cash, we would have rented it because the price for the view and that pool was worth its price. My only issue in the pool areas is the life guards. I'm not sure if I saw one. Anyway, according to kuya boy, they are planning (actually starting) to build another pool which will be intended for night swimming. Yey!

Staff. They are the best. Management to employees to helpers. They are very friendly, accommodating, responsible and hospitable to every customer even to young people like me and my barkada. They are respectful in person and through phonecalls. I called sir Reggie several times to ask about the amenities, downpayments, pools, food etc and he answered them with patience.

One of the few reasons why I said great things about their customer service are:
First, we were able to get to Baloganon crossing at around 10 in the evening. It was so late but he still entertained us when I called. He asked one of the maintenance crew (tito Boy) to fetch us. We paid for the ride for a reasonable fare and it saved us a lot of trouble.
Second, my friends just went through a 10-hour bus drive and they hadn't eaten anything heavy yet so I really had to ask sir if they still have any food (rice and ulam) that we can buy. The kitchen/restaurant was already closed and I wasn't sure if their chef or cook was still awake but again, they found a way to help us. We were able to eat yummy tonkatsu for dinner.
Third, there was a misunderstanding about the price of the room that we rented. Sir Reggie told me that it was just P1,000 but it turned out it was P1,250. But since he said it was his fault, we got the room for only P1,000. I think he paid for the P250. Thanks sir. :)

Mini store. We already expected this but the prices of the items available in their store were a bit overpriced especially the bottled water. haha. So if you're tight on budget, it's more practical to buy items before checking in.

We are definitely going back. Highly recommended for people who want to have a great get-away experience.

(Note: Caloocan to Masinloc's fare is already P401 as of Oct 29)

A great place if you want to relax, have a swim, and go nature tripping at the same time. Overlooking a spectacular view of the West Philippine Sea, and perched on top of the hill, and with cozy rooms and private villas. The best place to be will be in their infinity pool.
