Stayed for one night and had dinner. All very good and bed comfy. If we had a reason to stay in the area again we'd definitely stay again. Landlord very friendly and excellent breakfast with good quality sausage and bacon! Thank you too for the village guide which made for an interesting walk.

We were a large group of friends, all with various dietary & physical needs! All needs met without a batting an eye, happy to serve alternative accompaniments to dishes & didn't laugh at our strange requests. A warm welcoming environment and amazing food in generous portions. Would happily eat here again when in the area.

Nice Village Pub with good beer / Food and Hosts. Only stayed overnite but was perfect. Superb locally supplied food. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Nice hot shower and facilitys in Room. TV. Hair dryer. Tea making kit. If i had to find a negative it would be the Boy Racers with loud exhausts. On a nearby road But that is not the Price of Wales fault.

I had the miss fortune of my company booking me and my 3 Colleagues 5 days in this place! I work all over the country and this is Literally the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty, dusty, dated and broke in many ways. Beds are pretty much cardboard to sleep on. No Wi-Fi . The bathroom floor tiles were so cracked I actually cut my foot on them. Staines in the sink, taps, toilet and shower!!! Room vibrates when cars pass and to top it off dogs constantly barking!! This place isn’t worth £10 a night let alone £80! Vile place. Stay away!!

The pub was amid a serious power cut when we arrived - they very kindly warned us as soon as they knew so we had the option to find alternative accommodation but also promised to make us as comfortable as possible if we did arrive - and they did just that! Sadly this meant that we were not able to sample their evening menu so ate on our way, but still enjoyed the ales and cosy, candlelit atmosphere of the pub itself before sloping up to bed by the light of our mobile phones. When we woke the next morning the power was back on so enjoyed a hot shower and charged our phones while we went down for a lovely full English breakfast which set us up nicely for the day ahead. The hosts, who I swear must never go to bed, kindly gave us a discount also on the stay as way of apologising for the power cut which of course was out of their control anyway. All in all the pub and locals were friendly and the hosts went above and beyond to keep everyone happy - the rooms were cosy, clean and well equipped - would definitely return if back in the area :)

This hotel/ pub has been a total haven for me over the last 2 weeks while my partner has been in Papworth for a major operation. I’ve been looked after totally and it’s been such a pleasant relief to walk in after a few hours at the hospital, and find a nice glass of wine and a home cooked meal ready to go. My room was cosy with a decent shower. The hosts Simon and Emma are an amazing couple and take great pride in their venture. The random acts of kindness that they did to put a smile on my face can’t be quantified. They do so much for the local community too. It’s a rare thing these days to find a locals local where a stranger is so warmly welcomed into the fold. I would recommend this place to ANYONE visiting the area. I hope to be back soon. I came as a stranger, I’ve left as a friend. Can’t ask more than that :-)
