I looked at a lot of options in Siargao, and I'm so glad that I chose to book with Bravo Resort. My tita and I were so impressed with their front desk manager, David. He provided absolutely stand out support, from answering email inquiries, to helping arrange massages, transportation, and surf lessons. He was also very understanding and flexible when our flight was cancelled due to a storm, and helped us to shift some of our plans accordingly. We really enjoyed our accomodations which were clean and private, with great AC and decent wifi. I loved the outdoor shower, and the beds were comfortable too. The freshly baked-to-order croissants were also standout! Kevin, our shuttle driver to the airport was also super kind, courteous, and a great driver. He helped us with our bags from our rooms, all the way to a cart at the airport. While we really enjoyed the resort itself, the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff (especially David and Kevin) really made the experience memorable.…
We stayed at Tadhana villa which was fabulous. On Christmas Day we were hit by a typhoon and our flights were cancelled and we had to book into Bravos for the night. What fantastic service we received from Bravos and their team. They have been absolutely amazing and a special thank you to David on reception. I don’t think our trip would have been the same without your help David. You have been a super star in helping us out. 5 star service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best private beach in siargao! We stayed here on and off as Bravo also has the best internet connection. We managed to zoom call and run several applications at once, which is unheard of on this island. So if you need to work remotely, STAY HERE! The rooms are very standard, nothing fancy but it does what it says on the tin. The only negative thing I have to say is that there are allot of mosquitoes! These rooms have nets and open roofs so the little mosquitoes will come and bite you! The food is really good, the breakfast is ok but wouldn’t go out of my way to come here for brekkie. The staff are wonderful and super helpful, there is high chairs for the smaller babies too! But the best thing about this place, is the beach. Low tide for the majority of the day so the kids could run around to their hearts content! You can get access to the beach by going to the restaurant. The pool is small but great for impatient kids who wants to swim first thing lol! I will certainly come back here, maybe not to stay but for everything else!…
Bravo. Where to start - maybe at the end. I checked back in a total of 3 times. The people are lovely - especially standout are the reception team led by the wonderful David. It was David that made this place feel like home first off, then reinforced by his team. Shout out to the restaurant manager who’d regularly prepare me a ‘surf coffee’ for my early starts to be ready before they opened. The standard of accommodation is great here - you couldn’t ask for more whether you choose to stay in one of their private rooms or the dorms (honestly I tried them all throughout my stints and they were all fab). The location is also probably the best in General Luna - right in the middle of the fun. And it never felt overwhelming. I visited throughout November, and if anything, I thought General Luna was quiet. Wifi is some of the best in the area. I wish they’d open a coworking space so I didn’t feel so bad squatting in the restaurant each day. Talking of the restaurant - they’ve got some pretty great stuff - tuna tataki is next level. They hooked me up with a great surf guide - Bogs. Very caring, brilliant surf coach who was always in tune with how we were feeling in the different waves we faced. The perfect combination of challenge, adventure and of course, always, safety first. All of this just 1 year on from the destruction that ripped through the area as part of Typhoon Odette. What’s been achieved in pulling together as a community and rebuilding is remarkable. I have a feeling I’ll be back at least once a year, and I’ll always stay at Bravo. …
The location - great location, beach front property, walking distance to everything. The staff - friendly, respectful, resourceful, and always with a smile on their face. The room - spacious, clean, rustic meets beach house, private. The food - the food is delicious, the green juice for breakfast is a must. I want to point out that Bryan and all of the staff members from the front desk, security, the local shop, the restaurant - all were welcoming, and just wanted to shoutout Bryan for going above and beyond the entire we were there, always greeting us, asking us if there was anything we needed - just a great experience because of the people that work so hard. There was a few days where the internet was down due to a change in providers, which was a little inconvenient but we eventually got passed it - it's easy with the beautiful beach being so close. Other than that, everything was great and we would go back here again.…
My wife suggested this resort without me having any expectations, and I'm so grateful for it after staying 2 weeks there! The staffs were kind and professional as they took care of every detail to make our experience amazing. You can take whatever in the menu, all the food are so delicious. The beachfront is the best on the island, there is also a sense of community in that place that you won't feel like a generic resort. I will definitely come back again soon!
We stayed at Bravo 4 years ago and it was such an amazing experience that 4 years later, we traveled from New York to stay here again. The staff is amazing. David specifically, was such a huge help. I planned to propose to my now fiancé in Siargao, and David and the entire team made the proposal an unforgettable experience. I couldn’t have done it without them. Siargao is an amazing island with so many things to do, but I would stay at Bravo every time. Great food, friendly staff, clean rooms, perfect location.
We went there for afternoon drinks and stayed until late in the evening. Great place just by the beach, they have a pool, good music, good drinks and food. Lots of young people, a little party vibe but no too much. Lovely place.
A magical place, very good service and good price! The restaurant is great and the pool is small but very nice. There is a lot of plants and trees in the hotel so there are a lot of animal too- frags, mosquitoes and crabs - for people that don’t like animals. Rooms are very nice- some of them can’t be fully dark.
It was my first time visiting Siargao this October, and i really enjoyed.the relaxing, chill and raw beauty of the island. We stayed at Bravo Hotel from October 18-25, 2022 and stayed in their Double Room with Breakfast included. Booking was easy since we booked directly from their website. We had to pay 50% of the fee during the reservation, and had to settle the rest when we arrived there. Prior to arrival, we had a choice of booking an airport transfer which costs P400 each. Other option is to ride a van outside the airport which costs P300. The airport is around 40-45 minutes away from General Luna, which is the tourism center of Siargao. When we arrived at the report, we were warmly greeted by their nice staff. We were given welcome drinks and guided to our room. Location The resort is located almost in the center of General Luna. The location was perfect for us. A lot of good restaurants and bars such as Sidargo, La Cusina, Mama Coco, and Siago are few minutes away from this place. There are also lots of souvenir shops around the area. But if you want to go to Cloud 9, you have to take a tricycle or rent a motor bike. Resort Facilities The resort is well-maintained and secured. What i like about it is it maintains its calm and quietness. It is a beach front resort with direct access to the beach. It has a very small swimming/dipping pool where you can just relax for while. Not a deal breaker for us since you are literally just in front of the beach. It also has its own restaurant which opens at 7 am. Since we had free breakfast, we would always eat here in the morning. We love eating here because of the chill vibes and the beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast food is good. They have few variety - bacon and egg, corned beef, fruit bowls, pancakes etc, and choices of coffee, juice or tea. The restaurant as well as the resort also has free wifi. But the internet is not that strong and reliable. They also have a small souvenir shop outside the reception area. Room Our room was directly beside the restaurant, so it was easy to access the beach as well, although there was no direct view of the beach from the room since the room technically has no windows. The room was neat, and clean. The high ceiling makes it look bigger than it is. The room had a large bed and a small couch/semi-bed in the side. Both were comfortable to sleep and chill in. The room also had an air-condition, as well as a ceiling fan which makes it cool inside. The shower was separate from the toilet. And the shower had hot water in it (one of my faves!). The room has bath and beach towels which they change as requested. They also provide shampoo and conditioner, but no soap and toothbrush/toothpaste. You have to bring/buy your own. There are enough space for your baggage, and clothes. Maybe just lacking a working table, for those who would want to work in their room, but not a big deal. The room also has a safe vault for your important personal belongings. Despite not having refrigerator, you can always ask from the restaurant for (hot or cold) drinking water. Staff All the staff were very nice. They were very hospitable and easy to talk to. They would always greet us when they see us from the reception table. They were also responsive to our needs. As a first timer in Siargao, we were kinda lost, and needed guidance on how to navigate around the area, and the reception staff made it easier for us. Special shout out to maam Carla who was very kind, always converses with us and helped us in most of our itineraries. She also had the best recommendations on where to eat (and not to eat), where to party, what to do and what sites to not to miss. And all her recommendations were A+. Really had a great time chilling and eating in Siargao because of those recos. Also, to kuya Kevin who brought us to the airport who was also nice. I can't enumerate everyone, but i believe they really invested in the training of their staff. Other Services The resort offers land tour and island hopping with their partner tour company. The land tour costs P2100 per person wherein you will be joined by other tourists from other resorts to ride a van and go to sites like Coconut Mountain View, Maasin River, Magpupunko Rock Pool and Sugba Lagoon. The island hopping on the other hand costs P1700 which will bring you to 3 islands - Naked, Dako, and Guyam. I say both trips were enjoyable and a must for first time visitors in Siargao like us. Both trips included entrance fees for all sites as well as lunch. But, upon checking in with other locals, we found that we could get the said tours in a much cheaper price - land tour (via van as low as P1800, via tuktuk as low as P1500) and island hopping (as low as P1200-P1400). We also availed of their massage service for P600 for an hour. It was okay. They also have motor bike rentals, car rentals and surfing classes. Overall, I can say that our stay in Bravo Beach Resort (and of course in Siargao) for a week was worth-it. Although it was not inexpensive, we really had a great time there - with the really nice and helpful staff, clean and well-maintained room, peaceful ambiance, convenient location and good facilities. The place will make you feel relaxed and at home. Will definitely go back here again. Kudos to the team!…
